This brand new, custom modern home comfortably sleeps 14 sits on a stunning lot in Norris Lake with beautiful, panoramic views and incredible views of the sunset. This spectacular Lake House has large, full glass windows providing plenty of light and breathtaking lake views in both living rooms and every bedroom of the house! We are situated on a unique, wide point of a cove where you can view the lake in many different directions. We built this home in 2023 and feel like no other property we’ve stayed in - and it is ready to share with others.
Our custom home offers many lakefront living options with three decks – the upper level is across the entire home and has covered and uncovered areas, an upscale furniture set that seats 10 and a patio dining table that seats 8. Also, this home features a lower-level deck across the entire home that can be used for activities such as corn hole, ping pong, a life-size Jenga game and much more. Finally, we have a small deck near the lake that has a gas fire table. We use it to watch sunsets next to a warm, cozy fire.
DOCK
Dock is accessible May-November. It may also be accessible mid April if water levels are high enough.
Near the Water - It is approximately 60 steps from the lower deck to the dock depending on water levels. There on rope hand rails all along the steps. Close to the water you will find an additional deck with lakefront viewing. This extra deck has a gas fire table and Adirondack chairs. We've enjoyed many sunsets from this deck. We offer a spacious 2-slip, covered steel dock with large patio chairs to enjoy the sunshine. The dock offers patio string lights to light up the lake and the dock at night. Finally, be ready to take your fun to another level with our a smooth, well-constructed, dock slide!
NORRIS LAKE and MARINAS
Our Lake Front lot has concrete steps to the lake which makes going to and from the lake easier for the family. There is a wood ramp next to the steps to help roll coolers up and down. We are on a wide cove, right off a main channel so it is a quick15 minute boat ride and car ride to Whitman Hollow, a 20 minute boat ride and car ride to Shanghai Resort and 20-30 minute car drive to Sugar Hollow. We are not far from many more marinas.
The large open kitchen is fully equipped to handle any occasion, whether it's a holiday feast or simply feeding a family and keeping the kitchen stocked with all their favorite drinks and snacks – you have all the space you need. The large kitchen table and large island offer the perfect space for your everyday meals, quick snacks, and breakfasts. The adjacent eat-in kitchen is great for sit-down family style dinners, making it the perfect setting for almost any occasion. Vaulted ceilings welcome our guest as they enter this open floor plan. Our home is filled with high end finishes including custom built-ins, Quartz countertops throughout, stainless steel appliances, two and a half refrigerators (two large refrigerators and a beverage refrigerator) and gorgeous plank-style flooring throughout most of the home.
Bedrooms have carpeting for that cozy, at-home feel. Our home also features various area rugs, accents, well thought-out lighting fixtures and an upper and lower-level living room where the entire crowd can create memories. We want this home to feel like home! The views from the bedrooms, great room, lower-level living area, kitchen, outdoor bar, and outdoor living areas are truly one of a kind and provide a majestic setting for one of nature’s most stunning sites, Norris Lake. There is also space for a boat trailer to be stored at the top of the driveway.

Bedroom 1 – Large master suite on the main level offers a King Bed, windows that showcase several views of the lake, walk-in closet, and a well-appointed bathroom.
Bedroom 2 - Queen Bedroom on lower-level offers a lake view with 1 Queen Bed and a bathroom that connects. This bedroom will also have a gorgeous view of the lake.
3 – Queen Bed and Kid’s bunk room with well-constructed bunk beds perfect for a small family. Right outside this bedroom is a full bathroom.
Bedroom 4 – This bedroom offers a Queen Bed and provides a gorgeous lake view. Bedroom 5 – Queen Bedroom providing another breathtaking lake view and a double sink bathroom right across the hall.
Bedroom 6 – This bedroom has two bunk beds that has a full bed on the bottom bunk and a single bed on the top bed. These bunks are well-constructed.
Lower-Level great room is perfect for kids or the family to enjoy time together whether they’re watching their favorite shows, playing X Box or enjoying the many popular board games we've supplied. Patio door allows everyone easy access to the outdoors and views of Norris Lake.
All bedrooms have Smart TVs. The Internet service we use is Starlink. We’ve had 10-14 people staying during the busy summer season with no issues.
Other Rooms: Dining Room with a Custom-built Table for 10-12 people and large island with 4 stools for more dining space. There is also plenty of dining space at our large, well-built outdoor dining table that seats 8. Comfortable outdoor patio sofas and chairs allow for great conversations and lake views.
Our Kitchen includes an oversized island great for meal prep and seating for 4, electric cook top, an oven, two food warmers, an Air Fryer, an Instant Pot, two large refrigerators, one beverage refrigerator, a dishwasher and a walk-in pantry off the kitchen area. The custom cabinetry is stocked with all the kitchen essentials you need for your stay.
Our Wet Entry off the kitchen includes another full-size refrigerator, a front-loading washer & dryer and an area to store your gear when you’re getting ready to go to the lake.
The Living Room hosts a gas fireplace (only used in the winter), large sofas, large chairs, and large sliding glass doors off the patio which offer incredible panoramic views of the lake.
High-touch surfaces cleaned with disinfectant (like countertops, light switches, handles, and faucets). Follows industry health association: SafeStay (AHLA - USA). Come stay with us!

GOLFING - within 10+ miles you can find golf courses such as The Greens at Deerfield, La Follette Golf and Country Club, Woodlake Lodge, Three Ridges Golf Course and many more.
HIKING - there are many walking trails in and around Cove Pointe Lake and Norris Dam. There are also nice climbing trails within 10+ miles. We also will go to Cumberland Gap which is an easy hour drive to experience amazing views of the Gap.
ATV Trails - this is a very popular area for ATV trails. There are guided tours or you can just rent an ATV and explore for a half day or full day.

This house is an absolute gem in a perfect spot on Norris Lake. The house itself is beautifully laid out to give all families their own space, beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything we needed. The back deck is glorious as is the dock. We enjoyed every minute here and will be back!

I've been vacationing at Norris Lake for many years, and this rental was truly one of the best we've experienced. The property was new, impeccably clean, and had a wonderfully homey feel. The furniture, both inside and on the two patios, was comfortable and definitely a step above typical rental quality. I was surprised by how well the internet connection worked (the best I've experienced at a rental on Norris).
We enjoyed the ping pong table and games provided, and the fire-pit down by the water was perfect for cozy evenings. The two large patios had amazing views and were ideal for sipping morning coffee and enjoying family dinners in the evening. The dock was a highlight, with its safe/sturdy feeling steps/platform leading to it. We loved that the dock had ample shaded areas as well as sunlit spots for lounging while others were swimming/using the slide. The two boat slips were perfect for our rentals.
Anna and Tom, our hosts, were fantastic—always available for any questions we had. We had an amazing trip and can’t wait to book again!

Wow! What a gorgeous home! This house was perfect for our family of 14. We had plenty of space, where everyone didn’t feel on top of each other. With 2 living areas & 2 large decks,& a huge kitchen w/a large gathering table. The owners have thought of everything! The kitchen was well stocked, with all the essentials, plus small appliances that you don’t usually find in rentals. We always had WiFi available for texting & surfing the net. We weren’t always able to make calls but FT worked. The TV’s had great pictures & worked well for movies for the kids. Anna was the best host ever! We had issues with the dock’s power to the slide & lights, but she kept in contact with me everyday. She constantly was updating me as to the progress on trying to fix it. Although it never got totally resolved, the kids were able to enjoy the slide, while it was working. We spent the majority of our days out on our boat, so it worked out. The only 3 things I would not give this home a 5 star on, so I am giving these a 4 were 1) the dock electric issues (everything else about the dock was fantastic) and I am sure they will get it fixed. 2) the driveway. And yes Anna did warn us b4 we arrived,be careful, it’s crazy steep! It was just a little too nerve wracking for some of us scary cats. And #3) the beds. They were nice, but they were too “firm” for some of us. So I would bring my mattress pad if you prefer a softer bed. II would highly recommend staying here. We hope to return!

Booking the Mango Lake House was such a wonderful decision for our family of 13! The house was a dream! The view, even better! The location of the house was perfect for visiting Marinas from the water on boat such as Whitman Hollow, Sequoya Marina and, Stardust Marina! We will absolutely be booking again for next year! Thank you Anna for your hospitality and sharing your slice of heaven with us!

OK…our stay at Mango House surpassed our expectations! It’s a new home on a great part of the lake. Perfectly outfitted with every thing you need. Kitchen is sussed out if you cook. We cooked every night and ate on the upper deck every night (perfect time of year for that). Anna provided lots of info ahead and checked in as soon as we arrived. It was a reunion of four couples and there were lots of places to hang out, two decks, the fire pit down below and a beautiful dock. Home run!

Our trip to the property was fantastic. The house itself is awesome and ideal for a multiple families and there’s plenty of amenities so that you only have to bring yourself! The kitchen was the best stocked of any rental I’ve ever stayed at. The views were awesome and it was a great place to relax.
The hosts here in my opinion really set this place apart. Anna and Tom were so communicative and so helpful leading up to our stay, I can’t compliment them enough. From easy to follow directions to a guide on local attractions, (even a drawing on how to navigate the driveway), it felt like we were staying a friend’s house. I highly recommend this place and these hosts!

For the first time in 8 years coming to Norris, we are rebooking a property for our next stay! The home is gorgeous - brand new, incredible floor plan, beautifully decorated and fully furnished with everything we needed. The host, Anna, was proactively attentive, ensuring we had what we needed and were comfortable. The Wi-Fi was phenomenal. No cell service (AT&T at least) but was able to take video calls and watch streaming services. The dock was wonderful - covered with two open slips, a wide opening in each and guards in place to prevent any boat scratching from passing wake. Overall, a great experience that we will happily enjoy again next year.

Beautiful home, amazing views and property owner could not be more pleasant to work with. We visited with multiple families with teens. Everyone had great days swimming off the dock and enjoying our pontoon rental. Evenings were cooking big family meals in the kitchen that had everything you could need and enjoying the many games at the house… corn hole, ping pong, scrabble, etc.
We will for sure be back the first chance we get.

Our 2 families loved staying at Mango Lake house. Awesome location (close to the highway!), everything seemed brand new, and the dock was amazing. We had a major thunderstorm while we were there and the dock kept us dry. Anna was an excellent host to us. We can’t wait to stay there again!

This house is just beautiful! SO much space to enjoy & spread out. The host is very easy to communicate with & keeps you up to date on everything as well as provides several helpful lists & info before your stay! The docks are large & there is so much space to have some fun & swim as well as enjoy the water slide! Both decks are huge & the views are stunning. We had the best time!!! Thank you!!

Our stay at the Mango Lake House was exceptional in every way. The house has spectacular views, high end finishes and many extras. Extras include a Keurig, ping pong table, corn hole boards, and family games. Everyone enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful deck playing Scrabble in the evenings. The internet access is the best we have ever had at Norris Lake.
The dock is large with both covered and uncovered spaces. The kids loved the slide. The location on the lake is perfect for tubing, skiing and wakeboarding.
Anna is an attentive and gracious host. The few small issues were resolved promptly and professionally.
Overall, it was our best lake vacation ever! In the future, this will be our "go to" house at Norris Lake.

There were 4 families that stayed here for 5 nights and we could not have found for a better house. I have rented many VRBOs and this is the first one that has felt like a home and not just a vacation rental. There were conveniences sprinkled throughout the house that are not typical such as sound machines and a multi-station charger. The deck slide and dock was absolutely amazing. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Anna was quick to respond and so kind to work with. We had a minor issue and it was resolved in less than 24 hours. Now we just need to figure out when we can return as I think this is now one of our top vacation destinations.

I have a core group of family and friends that have shared a rental property on Lake Norris the past 4 years and we all agree this to be the best location, property and overall service of any that we've stayed. The home offers the perfect floor plan with ample room for many guests, two fridge/freezers, a wine chiller, grill, well appointed kitchen, and two expansive patios offering some of the best views of the lake.
Stepping a few short stairs down to the dock (maybe 60 steps), you have access to two oversized covered boat slips which comfortably fit my 28 foot boat and had more than enough height to where I didn't have to put down my ski tower. Slips this size are hard to come by and many times don't exist at some marinas. Making the dock even better is the owner's recent addition of the slide (and water pump on the slide) which kept the kids happy while we floated in the water. The home is situated right at the start of a cove and therefore has easy access to the lake without having to go through a 15 minute no wake zone, perfect for those looking to get on the water quickly. Its central location also provides easy access to multiple marinas including Indian River, Whitman Hollow, Norris Dam, Twin Cove, Sequoyah, Stardust and Shanghai.
Above all, I can't express enough the overall generosity and quality of communication from the owner. She made every effort to make our stay better. Going forward, I won't hesitate to make this place my first choice on Norris!

The Mango lake house is by far one of my favorite houses we have rented on Norris Lake! We have been visiting the lake for the past 5 years and have owned a vacation rental on the lake as well. The house had absolutely everything we could have asked for. We had 3 families stay with us and everyone raved about the how beautiful and clean the house was. They thought of absolutely everything down to the sound machines in the bedrooms. Kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable, the view were incredible. The board games, ping pong table and gaming machines were great to keep the kids entertained on rainy days. The adults and kids all had a blast. Location on the lake is also great- quick access to some of our favorite jumping rocks and marinas. kids had a lot of fun on the slide from the dock and we appreciated the dock bumpers for extra protection as the waves were massive. Photos of the house do not do it justice- Thanks for hosting us we can’t wait to visit again!

We had a fabulous stay at Mango Lake House. The house is very clean, beautifully decorated, yet comfortable home. Views of the lake from the house, as well as the multi-story deck are amazing.
Our stay was a couple's getaway. There was plenty of space to break away to work, high speed internet was great(even accessible at the dock), and we could all be working in the kitchen at the same time. Certainly plenty of room for families to spread out.
Nicely appointed kitchen included anything one could possibly need including an airfryer, electric roasting pans, 2 full size and a beverage refrigerator, filtered water, blender, and thermal coffee and cold drink containers. No need to take any personal kitchen items.
The bedrooms were all well-appointed with very comfortable bedding and pillows. We all slept great, which is not always easy away from home.
We really enjoyed to deck overlooking the water during the morning and for evening meals.
After boating, we enjoyed sitting on the dock enjoying the view, using the slide, and swimming near the dock. The house is in a cove, so there was limited boat traffic and we felt comfortable being in the water near the dock.
Tom and Anna were very quick to respond to any inquiries. Anna checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.
We all agreed there was nothing that we were missing during our stay.

If I could give more than 5 stars to Mango Lake House, I would!
First and foremost, the cleanliness of the house was impeccable. As soon as we stepped inside, we were greeted by breathtaking views and spotless living spaces. The attention to detail in maintaining such a pristine environment was truly impressive.
We cannot commend the host enough for their exceptional communication and clear instructions. From the moment we made the reservation, she was prompt and responsive to all of our questions (and we had a lot!). She provided us with detailed directions to the property, making our arrival stress-free. The instructions within the house were thorough which made settling in a breeze.
The amenities provided in this house were outstanding. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare all of our meals while enjoying the lake views. Plenty of space in the fridge and the pantry to stock up for the week. The living areas were very comfortable, providing plenty of room for our group to relax, socialize, play board games, and even put on some of the hockey games on TV. The bedrooms were cozy and the sheets felt like heaven!
The real highlight was undoubtedly the access to the lake itself. The proximity to the water and the private dock provided endless fun for all ages. We spent our days swimming, kayaking, and boating.
In conclusion, our stay was nothing short of perfection. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the hosts for providing us with such a wonderful experience
