About this villa rental

This eco-property is located on a bluff overlooking the Pacific, Bajilla de Paplotes (Kites Bay) and La Bufadora! Minutes from the front door are myriad hiking trails, tidal pools for snorkeling and swimming, a secluded beach at Crocodile Cove, as well as the the marine geyser and local market in the town of La Bufadora. You can even book a gastro-wine tour of the Guadalupe Wine Valley which is just an hour away or go dancing in downtown Ensenada which is 45 minutes away.

The properties at Baja Off the Grid are 100% solar powered and self contained with their own water and gas on site. We do have a back up propane generator for those cloudy days. That being said, our resources are precious and limited so we ask that all of our guests be mindful and conserve when possible. This entails: shorter showers, unplugging devices at night, flushing less, and connecting to our beautiful natural surroundings.

There are 3 properties at Baja Off the Grid. El Rancho Del Mar (listing #1102341), El Castillo Del Mar (listing #848729), and La Casa Del Mar (lsiting #1089684). Each property has its own PRIVATE entrance, balcony/deck, fire pit, kitchen, and living/sleeping areas. The properties can be rented separately or together depending on group size and availability. We can accommodate groups as large as 36.

It was even more beautiful than expected. The property was in great condition with everything we needed. Opening the patio doors directly to the cliffs and ocean was breathtaking. Falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the cliffs was even more relaxing. The owner did a great job summarizing what to bring/not to bring and what to expect. I would absolutely recommend and will come back to get off the grid and disconnect.

Very nice place and awesome location. This property is just like they show it in the pictures... clean and very well kept. Every member of my family loved it. There were 21 of us and the place never felt crowded because of the large living room and dining area. Alex and his mom are very nice and are great hosts, very attentive and friendly. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend it. Thank you Igor, Alex and Mom.

What an amazing location! People said, “You’re driving to Mexico?” Yes and it was safe and beautiful and I would do it again. (Only downside to driving is the costly MX liability insurance) The house was exactly as pictured, clean and comfortable with the most spectacular views. Plenty of opportunities to hike and see the local flora and fauna, it left us breathless. Experienced many unforgettable memories while kayaking in the La Bufadora cove, visiting some local tamale & taco stands, Sharkey’s, Mama Bears and Punta Banda beach. We also had the pleasure of meeting Igor and Nina and they are absolutely lovely. Thanks for sharing your spot! We LOVED living off the grid!

This property was amazing for my birthday! It's right on the cliff overlooking the sea and my friends and I loved sitting by the firepit watching the sunset every night. In addition there are great tidal pools for swimming right out the front door and an awesome private beach just minutes from the house. We also walked to the town of La Bufadora to grab grilled clams and souvenirs. There were 16 of us and we never felt on top of each other. This is the perfect birthday/friend/get together nature adventure spot. We can't wait to come back!
