Welcome to Sunset Desert House in Desert Hot Springs, California! Built in 2022, this modern property boasts a beautifully crafted home nestled in the heart of the Coachella Valley, providing a unique desert living experience. The spacious living areas feature an open floor plan, high ceilings, and large windows that flood the home with natural light. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, and is perfect for entertaining guests.
The primary ensuite offers a king size bed and a spa-like oasis, complete with a soaking tub, walk-in shower, and double vanities. The secondary ensuite has also a king bed and includes a working desk. Two additional bedrooms and a full guest bathroom offer ample space for family and friends.
The backyard is an entertainer's dream, with a custom-designed pool and spa, fire pit, built-in BBQ area, bocce court and corn-hole. The covered patio is perfect for al fresco dining and relaxing in the shade, while the well-manicured lawn offers plenty of space for outdoor activities.

BACKYARD
◇ 36ft Pool - The pool can be heated to 84℉ for an additional fee of $100/day (minimum 2-days or $200). This fee is collected as a booking adjustment and county taxes will apply. During the colder months, it might take 18 to 24 hours for the pool to heat up, so please plan accordingly.
◇ 8 Person Hot tub use is free for up to 2 hours a day - You have to let us know so we can turn it on since it takes 30 minutes to reach 100℉. It will automatically shut-off after 2 hours. If you prefer all day use (up to 8 hours) the fee is $50/day +taxes/fees. Hot tub hours are 10 AM to 10 PM.

* This property requires a $1,000 refundable security deposit and a signed rental agreement. Security deposit will be collected separately 48hrs before the check-in.

* NOISE - County Ordinance No.847 regulating noise includes quiet hours from 10PM-7AM. Please observe. No amplified sound may be audible outdoors and inside of the residence. Violations of these rules are grounds for expedited eviction with no refund of any kind, and may result in a citation and fines by the county that will be paid by the Guest. There are smart home devices on the back patio and in the main living/kitchen space which actively monitors noise levels. These noise-censoring devices are required equipment for all permitted short-term rental properties by the County of Riverside.
* SECURITY: There are 3 security cameras actively recording in the property. One doorbell camera by the front door, one floodlight camera by the side gate, and one camera at the garage opener. All 3 cameras are facing the street for your security and protection. Tampering: blocking or disabling these devices will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
* No glitter, confetti, tape, or glue decorations allowed. Our cleaners charge an extra $100 to clean glitter and remove stains from walls. As we have wallpaper, you will be responsible for paying any damage. Please refrain from using these materials.
* We understand accidents happen, and we ask that you reach out immediately in the case of any damages so we can find a fair solution
* Prior to occupancy, operators/hosts of Short Term Rentals in the Riverside County are required to:
1) Obtain the name, address and copy of a valid government identification of responsible person/main renter;
2) Provide a copy of the Good Neighbor Brochure to all renters;
3) Require the responsible person to execute a formal acknowledgement that he/she/they is legally responsible for all compliance by all guests of the short term rental to requirements of Ordinance No. 927.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY: If so equipped, it is the Guest`s responsibility to learn about safety precautions concerning using or being around a special feature. Examples of a special feature include a spa, hot tub, swimming pool, firepit, deck, railing, bunk beds, landscaping, an area accessible by stairs or ladder, etc. Guest understands that the area surrounding a special feature may or may not be fenced and even if so equipped, is not to be considered secure. Guest understands there are special risks that may be involved for everyone, children in particular who are not carefully supervised, person(s) intoxicated or on any kind of drugs or medication, and those with health risk or pregnant. Guest agrees to explain the risks of the presence and use of a special feature to all guests at the property. Guest agrees to instruct all guests on premises not to access any off-limit or unsafe sections of the property, including roof-tops. Guest agrees to assume responsibility to make all occupants aware of risks and the consequences of those risks and to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents that may occur. Guest agrees to waive any claim whatsoever against Property Owner for injuries or claims.

Great property for a Palm Springs getaway.
Rina and Rafael were very accommodating and responsive.
The house was well appointed for kids including a travel crib and children's dishware.
There are some restrictions for pool heating, so you have to plan ahead for any time in the hot tub.
The property was in good condition and you can tell that a lot of thought went into their build for a convenient stay.
Kitchen had lots of good condition appliances and was well stocked with spices and utensils.
The neighborhood is a bit less polished than Palm Springs proper and it's about a 15 minute drive into Palm Springs.
Pool was 5' max depth and had a nice shelf. A bit more shade in the back yard would go a long way.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would return.

We stayed here with our family for a weekend, and we loved this home! The house and backyard are beautiful, modern, incredibly clean, and the owners haven't overlooked any details! The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need from pots and pans, baking dishes, indoor and outdoor dishes, gadgets, a coffee bar, and more. The bathrooms are stocked with towels, makeup removing cloths, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and more. There are cabinets full of blankets and family games, and outside there's a chest with pool toys and yard games. The outdoor kitchen is great for entertaining, with a grill, sink, and refrigerator and adjacent couches, a tv, and a fire pit. The pool lights automatically turn on, and you can opt for the hot tub and pool to be heated during your stay. We had a wonderful stay, and the owners were very communicative throughout.
