This contemporary home perched near the summit of Town Mountain is close enough to downtown Asheville for an Uber ride and food delivery, yet enjoys an expansive private flagstone patio with a fire pit and hot tub. Delight in gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and tall evergreen trees! Inside you'll find a spacious floor plan with tasteful upscale decor and plenty of designer touches. The open kitchen features everything the chef will need to whip up tasty meals, and the group can dine together at the round family table or step out on the deck for outdoor dining. At the end of the evening, the cozy living room is the perfect place to watch the sunset and reminisce about the day. When you're ready to unwind, the main-level primary suite has a spectacular mountain view and a jetted tub in the attached bath. The lower level includes three comfortable bedrooms and a living area featuring a gas fireplace to set the mood, but don't head off to bed without giving that hot tub on the patio one more visit. Given the desirable location that's super convenient, the spectacular amenities, and the long-range mountain views, Misty Mountain is the perfect Asheville vacation rental in every way! This Asheville vacation rental is located in Asheville and is approximately 9 minutes from downtown Asheville. • 2-Story Home • 4 Bedrooms: 2 King Beds, 2 Queen Beds • 3 Full Baths • Main Level: Main Suite/Bedroom One - King Bed, attached Full Bath with Soaking/Jetted Tub; • Lower Level: Bedroom Two - King Bed; Shared Shower Bath; Bedroom Three - Queen Bed; Shared Full Bath; Bedroom Four - Queen Bed; Important Property Notes • Noise Ordinance Misty Mountain is located in a quiet neighborhood and has a very low noise tolerance. The home is under a noise ordinance between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. It is not suitable for groups that are looking for late nights of celebration on the deck. • 4WD/AWD Required in Winter: During the winter months (Nov. 1st - Mar 31st) and inclement weather, a 4WD/AWD vehicle is required to access this property. Please ensure your vehicle has sufficient clearance (i.e. SUV, Truck, or raised sedan). Low-clearance vehicles with 4WD/AWD are not recommended. • Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning amenities, please purchase wood locally upon arrival. • No Street Parking. Please note, that guests are not allowed to park on the street at Misty Mountain. Thank you for understanding. • This home is nestled in a beautiful area that is also home to North Carolina natural wildlife. North Carolina Bears are commonly passing through and around the neighborhood during the Spring-Fall months. This Is a Pet-Friendly Property -- Please Read this Important Information! We love our furry friends! If you'll be bringing your dog(s) with you, use the "Personal Message" box when making your reservation to tell us how many (max. 2 dogs) and their weight. • There is a non-refundable pet fee of $150 per dog (plus taxes) 2 dogs max. • Note that the pet fee will not be included in your total rental amount. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house. The views are absolutely stunning. We even spotted a mama bear and her 3 cubs strolling through the back yard! I highly recommend Misty Mornings.

I'll start by saying we really enjoyed this property. It is newer and the location is great. We really appreciated the hot tub and the space for our group which was four adults. However, we also thought there were a few areas for improvement which would have made this a 5 star stay for us: 1) The kitchen is sparsely appointed where you will need to bring almost anything you need. We did find a bit of salt and pepper, but there is nothing else. No ice, no other seasonings, and cookware we felt was inadequate. 2) While there is a grill, there was no propane tank on the property even though one was supposed to be provided. 3) The check in process is clunky. You will need to access an external portal run by the management company. You won't have access to check in information through VRBO. 4) Lastly, fairly minor, but the bath towels were the smallest roughest towels I have ever used. Not worthy of such a nice a house. With these things in mind, you will enjoy your stay in particular if you bring EVERY item you will need in the kitchen.

This was the perfect property for a weekend of relaxation. The home met all of our needs and was perfectly situated for us to pop into downtown Asheville, and explore the area on walks.

We had a great stay at Misty Mountain. It was perfect for our family of five and our small dog. We loved the location! The kitchen was well stocked, furniture comfortable and inviting. We will definitely keep this house in mind for our next visit to Asheville!
