The bed was big and comfy and the sheets were clean. It was possible to safely open the window and enjoy the fresh air. The area around the hotel is quiet, so I was able to rest well at night.
The facilities (especially the bathroom) were old and sometimes outright dirty. The worst was that the toilet was leaking every time before the flash. There was also dirt on the walls in the room. I didn't feel safe coming back late at night also: the hotel is 10-15 minutes walk from the subway (depending on your pace) and though I was told that the district is safe, that part of it just didn't feel like it was.

Location was great. It's not super close to Sinsa station but it's a nice walk. It's also easy if you know how to take the buses. The hotel is at the end of garosugil and it's easy to get to hangang.
The staff were unfriendly and worked very slowly. Check in/out, getting bags from storage were therefore very slow processes. They also were strict about checking folks in after 3pm. Rooms were old, water did not drain well in the showers and the air-con was not working even though it was still pretty warm for fall

Location is good.
I was a long time visitor since 2017, and this is the first time after the pandemic I visited again.
I never got this bad feeling towards this company but this time, the staff quality and service were pretty low.
The first room I checked in, there’s water leaking in the toilet so I requested to change another room, they changed to a smaller room as they said they are full booking in the weekend but without apologies. I ask them to change back to the size I paid for, the staff told me that the structure of my room is just same, which it just means it was a queen bed room only, but the size totally way smaller than the one I pay for. They changed back to the room I paid for at my last night stay but there were very big mosquito in my room and they just spray around the room but not trying to kill it. I got back to the room at night n the mosquitoes were still one, there were one the night before made me couldn’t sleep for whole night.
There were no apologies at all, no compensation at all, not even offer a late check out for all these things.
I usually recommend La Casa without a second thoughts to my friend for all these years but I m hesitate to recommend from now on.
It’s really sad to see how they treat old customers like this.

Breakfast was a bit boring till the end of our stay

Large room with comfortable bed, efficient staff. Great location
Difficult to control A/C, curtains not closing completely, someone else was smoking in another floor and it smelled in the bathroom. Also charger and some lamps did not work

The room is spacious compared with room at other hotels at Sinsadong or Gangnam, besides the location is excellent as it's close many restaurants and cozy cafes. The service of hotel staffs have improved too, very polite and attentive!
The other thing they need to improve is the facility of the room, like this trip the toilet flush has some issues so as the shower glass door can't be closed properly that i tends to flood the toilet every time after shower. Ceiling light and safe is faulty this time too :)

it was in the perfect neighborhood to go shopping, meet friends, go to the spa etc. the room was very spacious and comfortable with a great bed!
It seemed like it needed small updates like repainting the room etc. nothing major.

Quiet, simple and relaxed ambience. Cosy and polite service. There is a lot of attention to making it a curated experience - from lobby reading materials to electronic checkin / check out.
Sinsa location was easy to commute from.
I appreciated most aspects of this hotel stay. These are some suggestions to consider for improvement only because i truly want to help:
Whilst there was the option to signal preference for GREEN initiative with the card on the bed, it seems towels and slippers were still being replaced daily.
I visited the rooftop of East wing on a Sunday evening at 6pm but it still didn’t seemed open despite the sign indicating it would be from 5pm?
The room seemed quite dusty upon checking in - perhaps a more recent clean would be valuable.
For the first time visitor, more descriptive information on the best way to navigate to the hotel from the airport could be handy. also perhaps quick induction to nearby cafes and supermarkets etc.

Decent 3-4 star hotel.
Unfortunately Internet was bad and smell of smoke sometimes carried from hallways into the room. Lived here for 10 days. Otherwise OK.

I really liked that the vibe and look of the place was homey and sleek at the same time. Gym was excellent for a 3 star too. Neighborhood is nice and upscale - may not be at prepandemic levels but it meant area is quiet (this is a necessity as hotel doesn't operate air-conditioning so we needed to keep the windows open!)
I think the hotel may have recently opened again and hence not yet fully operational. Air-conditioning is not available and breakfast is only on weekends though there is a coffee place right across and plenty of nearby options

This hotel has the best location, very near to garosugil , lots of eatery and shopping yet it has a quite surroundings as it's off the main street.
Some of plugs in the room are not working well, so as the wifi. Also the hair dryer is a pain, heat up easily but the wind speed is so low; at times it's hard to hold onto it cause it's so hot....
The pillows are too soft so i couldn't sleep well during my entire stay, should provide firmer pillow as option

good location, clean room with everything you’d need
arrived at 14:30 after a 10 hour flight, was told to wait in a nearby Starbucks and wasn’t offered an early check in. also tried to order food and room service on more than one occasion and was told either the staff are on break or they weren’t serving food.

This was our second time staying at La Casa. The first time was in December 2019 pre-pandemic, and we loved our stay here so much back then that we decided to stay here again this round. This was our first visit back in Seoul, post-covid.
We absolutely love the location of this hotel and just generally the neighborhood that it is in. It is situated in between Sinsa station and Apgujeong station (both walking distance) and there are many convenient stores nearby, as well as restaurants and cafes. The best thing for us this round, is that this hotel is walking distance from the Hangang. We literally went to Hangang every day during our stay here. We couldnt do this during our last visit because it was during the peak of winter (way too cold). But thankfully this round the weather was more forgiving; the autumn weather was simply perfect.
The hotel room is spacious and clean, and we love the fact that the hotel makes a conscious effort to be green/sustainable. The shower is great too and we love the fact that the toilet comes with a bidet. Prior to our arrival, we had informed the hotel that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and so requested for a room with a nice view. The Hotel Management Staff were very kind and welcoming, and surprised us by upgrading our room to a room on the highest floor, and gifted us with a bottle of wine :)
Overall, we had an amazing time staying at La Casa and we hope we can stay here again for our next visit. We would like to thank all La Casa staff for making our stay at La Casa very pleasant.
Nothing.
We just would like to note that post-covid, the Airport Limousine Bus to Incheon Airport (across the street from the hotel) was not in operation during our stay. However, you may consider catching the other Airport Limousine Bus on the other side of the hotel (we took this bus coming from Incheon Airport).
For our own convenience, this round we decided to take an Airport Taxi from the hotel to the Airport instead. The Hotel Staff who was on duty was very kind and helpful to swiftly secure one for us.

cleaning was not perfect.
restaurant was just average

Friendly staff
There were rooms available, but early check-in was subject to a charge of 15000 per hour. I had an overnight flight and had no choice but to pay 45000 won for three hours. There was no listing in advance or anywhere...

Location was fine for my purposes.
The price was good value, the room quiet, staff friendly, room facilities very adequate. Bed was comfortable.
The hotel looked after my luggage while I went on a short trip. There was good shopping nearby and good eating places. Location was near where my friends live.
As far as I know, breakfast was not included in my room rate. I did not eat at the adjacent restaurant as the menu looked limited and the "room service" menu did not appeal.

Hotel design is nice. Big spacious bathroom. Like the green initiative to have built-in shower amenities instead of single small tubes. The charging cable provided in the room is a thoughtful gesture. Quiet and quaint location.
Room is rather small. No view from the room. Nearest train station is quite a walking distance.
