Home Truths:
- Please note that the fireplaces are not available for guest use.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Pool heat is available for an additional fee, but must be requested at least 48 hours before your stay.
- Pool heat is not available during the summer months.
- This home does not offer AC.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count, including a queen-sized sleeper sofa located upstairs. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- Please note that Landscaping will be onsite every Wednesday.
- Please note that the large open spaces on the property are only mowed twice per year. The property is in a rural area and the large grassy areas are not manicured in hopes of preserving the natural ecosystems and habitat.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

This was one of the most beautiful rentals we have ever stayed in. The pool and jacuzzi were a highlight. Check in was a breeze and there was more than enough towels and parking to accommodate the group.

Spent a long weekend here with my daughter and her bridal party. The house was perfect for the 12 of us and truly is beautiful. The location is amazing but the house could use some updating. Needs more lighting outside on the deck and we could not get the thermostat to work. The WiFi is terrible!!!! Overall it was a great place with plenty of room and very cozy.

This is a beautiful home which easily accommodated three families of 4. There are lots of sitting/living areas big and small for people to be together or spread out over the course of several days as needed. The kids loved the basketball court and the pool. TO NOTE- the pool never really gets warm, the heat just makes it “not freezing”. And the hot tub was definitely only kinda warm. For a $500 add-on fee that was a disappointment, but the home and the service otherwise overdelivered so I wouldn’t dock a full star for this.

Pros – house if really quite beautiful, nice layout, super comfy beds/bedding (we rated them A++!), good size kitchen, overall clean and good location. Cons – request for heated pool failed; local team sent handyman (thanks David!) to repair 48-hours after we arrived (after multiple text messages to local team and upon my request). I did receive a full refund for the fee but super disappointing since we planned on using each day. No mirrors in some of the bathrooms (very strange), empty/watered down handsoap and shower soap, cheap coffee maker (not even an auto shut-off), not enough coffee mugs for group of nine, mix & match dishware, no ice-maker or ice trays, no AC (that is noted in the description but it was 85 degrees in the house when we arrived!), some windows have no screens (so couldn’t open all windows), cobwebs in some rooms, not all outdoor lighting worked (safety issue with steps), no lights by grill (used iphone to cook), freezer did not work well, smoke alarm chirped (handyman fixed), beeping from utility room near garage, yard overgrown, house needs power washing, faded pool chair cushions, insufficient furniture on huge deck. Overall, if someone would invest a couple of thousand dollars on some of these items, the house would be a 10. House seems neglected. Would also be useful to have a guest binder with various instructions, recommendations, etc. I've stayed at several VRBO locations and overall, this one was very disappointing (at a cost of $10k+).

One thing that is not obvious is that there are stairs inside and out. Not just a staircase but 4 steps to downstairs bedroom which is not shown in any pictures. The pool is lovely, the amenities are nice. There were a few issues, shade was missing in bedroom, dishwasher doesn't work really well. Issues were addressed adequately, staff was friendly. A downstairs floorplan should be on the web site plus pictures showing the inside stairs. Plus railing does not go all the way down on the pool side outdoor stairs and is broken.

This is a beautiful property that is perfect for groups. Only downside is that there is no air conditioning. It’s not entirely necessary with the cool evenings in the area, but the days can be quite hot.

Overall the house is setup for a great vacation stay, especially the outdoor setup and the pool. It appears we may have been one of the first to rent the house, it felt as if it was rented before it was fully furnished and ready. Two of the bathrooms fully lacked mirrors (you just looked at tile), the rooms were quite sparse, and most of the walls were empty. With just a little more work, this place would be a 5-star stay and an amazing destination.

This property is perfect for a family gathering. The privacy and views made it so easy for us to connect. Tons of space and super helpful support and communication helped to make things more enjoyable. Biggest downside was we had little ones and the house is more adult friendly (stairs). Pool and outdoor space created so many memories. What a trip!

20 starssss!!! It was all a dream... This is the MOST gorgeous property I have stayed at! It exceeded our expectations and we did not want to leave! The pool is absolutely spectacular and the view is breathtaking! The view. The view from anywhere on this property is amazing! The house is enormous and fully equipped and absolutely beautiful, modern, clean, and so spacious! The rooms are beautiful! The beds are soooo comfortable! The beds are sooo comfortable. I have not slept in, in 16 years! Avantstay was awesome! They are very fast and attentive! I would be lucky to bring my family and friends back to stay at Malvasia again! Thank you for opening up this home, er, mansion dream...
