The home is in a community area. Every morning we sat out and drank coffee and waved good morning to all the walkers. The kitchen had everything needed to cook our Cajun dishes for our Arizona family to enjoy. Plenty enough room for all and lots of room for the little ones to play outside for hours. Throughly enjoyed!!

Entrepreneur escapes city to write and relax. Solo trip with dog. Host Bill kind to let me check in 1 hour early. House has tons of HUGE WINDOWS. Wow factor. Tasteful relaxed decor and colors. Pretty. Unfortunately: Main bedroom was very warm and I couldn't sleep in it’s firm bed. Smaller bed is mushy. Kitchen: Broken coffee pot, and they had prior knowledge of the issue. No replacement pot was offered during my stay. I also reported a found urine discovery left by a previous guest's dog. My dog was weird sniffing. I have a black light for scorpion watch and yep. Common good practice for guest is to mention things. Other host’s reply to me on that was kinda curt and off putting. Cleaning: Sneezy dust piles in AC filter grill above washer. Floors were a tad sticky and some surfaces had left over drink sticky marks. One bath infested with a lot of little bugs and webs. No shampoos. Kitchen: dishes and bowls in cupboard were put away sticky and dirty. Tea kettle has mineral scale mounds of build up inside. Time to replace. Should supply a simple auto Drip/Pod that is not 10 years old. Aluminum foil and plastic wrap would be nice for guests. Backyard had a few previous dog poos at the edges of yard. No biggie. It was tasteful and peaceful backyard. A female hawk flew into a window. Was out of it's mind and tried to get into other windows. Big drama. Squirrels. Sleepy Quiet Suburban neighborhood. Experience needed a deeper cleaning and comfort improvements.

Great location. Nice outside area with plenty of space to hang out. Located far enough away from busy sedona to be peaceful but close enough to be convenient. We'll be staying again.

We would stay again. Your home is lovely we love staying. Just a heads up. The hot/cold seems to be reversed in hall bath and kitchen.
Sheets are washed a folded on king bed. Queen sheets are in dryer. Did not do the towels.

Nicely furnished and welcoming. My dog was hoping it was his new home. Patio was great at night and the stars were out! Couldnt ask for a more convenient location to check out some of the local sites. We both enjoyed our mini-vacation very much.

This was our first visit to the Sedona area. We were happy with the private location, lots of space indoor and outdoor. Very nice kitchen and layout. Relaxed and watched TV in the living area at night. Would happily stay here again.

TP is the softest I had experienced while travelling. Does this tell you anything? I think this is the result of hosts who care about the quality of services they offer, not just drive for profit.
The house is modernly updated and well maintained; it was very clean. The larger room is converted from the garage, so the bathroom is not en-suite. The smaller room is.
Hosts were very responsive to all questions raised through VRBO.
We were too busy with our planned activities around Sedona since it was our first visit, we did not have a chance to enjoy the outdoors furniture and setting. Guess that we will have to come back again, and we will look forward to staying at this place for sure.
Sedona is 38 minutes away, but given the cost, this is still by far the best deal in my book.

We really loved our stay at Lake Montezuma. The house is very nice and has everything you need. If I would be asked to give one advice it would be that the curtains in the bedrooms are to thin to keep out the morning sun. But overall we had a great stay.

On a first visit to AZ my husband and I covered Tombstone to the Grand Canyon in 7 days. We arrived at this lovely spot after a 4+ hr drive from Tucson arriving early evening. Went out for dinner, back to bed, then up early next a.m. to hike in Sedona. Back later that night exhausted for a great night's rest, then off early day 3 for GC. A bit far from Sedona, but quiet, peaceful, clean, safe accommodations. As sweet as the photos.

We had a wonderful stay at this property and an added bonus of working one on one, with the owner, Bonnie. She not only worked with us but gave us some extra service of visiting with our dogs and giving them a "potty break" while we were touring the beautiful area of Sedona.
Thanks Bonnie for adding to our lifetime story of memorable moments!!

What a gem this place is! We've never been to Lake Montezuma but wanted a central location to visit surrounding areas (Cornville and Sedona) for hiking and birding. We're so glad we booked this place. We even visited Montezuma Well for the first time, which was a cool place to see.
The house is so tidy and clean and beautifully decorated. It's a very cool floorplan with tons of light. Having a TV with all the streaming options is also wonderful.
We loved the outdoor space!! We had breakfast every morning on the patio, listening to the birds sing. In the evenings enjoyed cocktails by the cozy firepit and listened to all manner of wildlife either settle in or wake up for the evening. It was just wonderful!
The kitchen is well-equipped and very clean. We didn't use the coffee maker or the air fryer, but having those appliances available is a great option.
Additionally, having an extra bedroom is important if you have a spouse who snores like mine, so this property is great for a couple or a family. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are plenty spacious. Luggage racks would be a welcome addition.
Bill and Bonnie are very kind and easy to communicate with and you can tell the property is well cared for and loved.
If you're looking for peace and quiet in a cozy setting close to nature, book this place. We loved it and will not hesitate to return.

A very open, relaxing and comfortable space. Lots of windows and sunshine and a lovely outdoor patio area with lots of seating and a fire pit! The firm king bed room is best! Note there are a few steps between living/dining & kitchen/bathroom/bedroom areas. Bill & Bonny are very nice and responsive hosts. Certainly recommended!

We had a great time staying at the Javelin guest house! Bill and Bonnie provided great directions, the home was clean, quiet, home, and off the beaten path. It is close to several areas. Everything we needed was provided! Would definitely book here again!

I loved my stay at this house. The house was super clean and comfortable with all the comforts of home. The location was great. It was near an open space where I saw deer and the habitat at the house attracted great birds as well. It was centrally located with some of the popular areas like Sedona and Flagstaff within an hour drive. The owners are wonderful. They were very generous with making my stay special as well as with their time in answering all my questions and they always responded quickly. I highly recommend this house and I will definitely stay here again should I return to the area.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with the house draped in lights. It was to be our home away for 8 nights to celebrate Christmas with our Airman son. So pleased to find the house decorated which set the stage for a family getaway. So enjoyed the windows that welcomed the Arizona sunshine and allowed us to see the coyote that loped through the yard. We saw javelina and savored the sunset loop hike just miles from the house. The house itself was very comfortable, and Bill and Bonnie friendly and responsive. Smiling as I type this...it was a tender Christmas away.

We loved the property and had a pleasant stay.
Only thing the travelers have to keep in mind is that area has very weak signal in mobile service. So don’t rely on your phone alone to get in to the home .Have a note of the Door code and details .
