Our stay in the Lou at Joe's historic Soulard unit was fantastic! We were there on a baseball trip for my son. The location of the unit was perfect for our trip as we took in a Cardinals game, visited the Arch, visited the City Museum, and the zoo; and the were within 10 minutes drive to each venue. There were some fantastic eateries within a few blocks of the unit that provided some truly fantastic eats. We were hoping to take in Bogarts, but didn't get the opportunity due to the hours of the restaurant. The unit is quite charming and the two bedrooms offered excellent space for our family. The only quirk that we found with the unit was that the tub in the second floor bath was slippery when stepping in and could pose an issue for some patrons as it is on the taller side as well and stepping in could be difficult. We were so happy that we were able to stay at Joe's unit and love our stay in the unit and our time at the Lou!

Very clean and homey. This location was great as it was walking distance to local restaurants, bars and coffee shops. A short drive to the arch, science center and city museum. Overall my family loved this one and we will definitely be back.

This was perfect for our family! It was nice and clean and close to everything we wanted to do on our weekend trip!

Loved the property. It was perfect for our group. There were so many cool places within walking distance that we didn't make it to all of them. Host was amazing, checked in with us during our stay to make sure we didn't need anything, and even allowed us to park in his personal parking spot when a festival brought a ton of traffic to the neighborhood and we couldn't find a place to park. There are stairs in the apartment that I may have overlooked in the listing which was not an issue at all for us but may be for some. Overall a wonderful stay and we will definitely book again when we come back to the area!

My family visited St Louis overnight to attend a baseball game at Busch Stadium. The place was clean and comfortable. It was a short Uber
/Lyft ride to Busch - probably not walkable for a night game especially. Parking was also very easy right in front of the property.
Joe was great and very responsive.
We have an 8 year old and did hear some nighttime bar noise and church bells - but it wasn’t bad - didn’t prevent her from sleeping well.
Would recommend to anyone - much better than squeezing into a hotel suite or paying for two hotel rooms in my family’s opinion.

Loved this apartment. The only thing I didn’t like was the stairs. Beautiful inside and out. Close to everything and Joe was a great host.

Excellent property, as advertised. Joe was very responsive and helpful. Property was clean. Only note is if you are staying on the weekend, it can be a bit loud as there are bars that play outdoor music late at night in close proximity, which is out of control of the property. 10/10, would stay again!

We stay in this area often and this one has by far been our favorite. Finding it was easy and there was plenty of street parking right in front. The beds were all comfortable and the kitchen very well stocked. The host is excellent with communication and checked in on us while we were there. We have found our go to for when we are in the area.
