Central location, possibility to make breakfast/coffee in the shared kitchen and store products on a shelf in the fridge, stylish look, huge bad towels, free snacks, coffee, tea in the kitchen.
The place reminded me the student dormitory built in 70s I leaved in back in my student times: the entrance leads to a stylish lobby (seen on the photo), with a corridor leading to rooms for guests. We lived in room 5 (with mint colored couch and 6 funny posters) and had a schooling desk, 2 chairs, private bathroom with toilet + dusche, 2 wardrobes, bed and couch. We appreciated having a bottle of water on arrival.
It was misleading for us from the property description that the living place has most of the facilities (eg. kitchen/washing Maschine) shared with other guests - take this into account when booking.
There is no soundproofing in the room - it was loud from the outside in the night from the Mexican restaurant and inside from the other guests in the corridor (we slept with earplugs). The windows themselves were noisy too as they are not dense and moving in the groove when wind was blowing.
The bed itself was uncomfortable for me for two reasons - the pillow was too high for me as a stomach sleeper and the blanket not breathable.
There were no photos of the bathroom on the booking, unfortunately - although we had a private bathroom, it seemed for me old, tiny with not much storage space (only a stool), with the shower located quite high for me.
It could be a positive feature for extroverts and negative feature for introverts - the owner/ lady in this place is talkative to guests. I was scared, when I was addressed by name on our 2nd day and was trying to remember „Gosh. Have I done something wrong here? Clean my dishes, garbage?“ - just like living in a dorm and being a guest in someone’s house, not relaxing.

The apartment looks very good, and there was a lot of things (coffee, tea, fruits) offered in the kitchen. The host was very welcoming. The location is great

Sie ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Eine große Baustelle direkt nebenan. Mit viel Lärm von früh am Morgen bis abends.
Auch in er Wohnung relativ viel Unruhe.

Das Zimmer und überhaupt die ganze Wohnung zeigte den Geschmack und die Sammelleidenschaft der Vermieterin - ein Traum, wer sich darauf einlässt. Die Lage in der Stadt ist optimal, alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Ruhige Seitenstraße. Die Kommunikation mit der Unterkunft hat prima geklappt. Nutzung der Küche super.
Von außen wirkt die Adresse etwas heruntergekommen aber der Charme entsteht beim Eintritt durch die Wohnungstür. Ein Problem ist die Parkplatzsuche. Hier braucht man Geduld (fast alles Fußgängerzone), hat aber auch geklappt.

Please refer to my other review for more information on the apartment. As I mentioned, I stayed in room 1 which has a library theme, it's cozy with a comfortable bed, TV, chair and table, as well a nice view and a plenty of natural light. I also stayed in room 4 which also has a comfortable bed, TV, table and chair as well a private bathroom. In both rooms I received a bottle of water upon arrival, clean set of towels and bathrobes. Both rooms also had good internet connection, I had to switch and connect to a different server but it quickly and efficiently worked. The apartment’s located in the heart of the city with a walking distance to almost everywhere. There’re plenty of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and shops around. I enjoyed my stay and can’t prize Marta and her professionalism and kindness enough, I needed a place for one extra night and she found me a solution for free. She didn’t have to help a total stranger but she did without excepting anything in return and to me that’s beyond prize. I’m totally grateful.

Marta’s care for the details is impeccable, everyday I spent there I noticed a fun and charming piece of art or furniture. The place has a warm, elegant and welcoming atmosphere, every room has its theme and charm. I stayed in room 1 which has a library theme, it’s cozy with a comfortable bed, TV, chair and table, as well a nice view and a plenty of natural light. There was a bottle of still water in the room, full access to a big and well equipped kitchen with free light breakfast including fruits, freshly made cake, bread, tea, coffee and a few things here and there. I had access also to the shared bathroom which was as the rest of the house well maintained and clean all day. Marta offers a home with a human touch, I have been solo travelling for a while and missed that genuine and warm connection. She kindly received me as early as I arrived, 3 hours before the check in, which is a great flexibility I don’t encounter in individually owned properties. Everyone who stayed during my stay was also super nice and friendly. Because of all the obvious reasons I extended my stay for more three nights in another room, which I will review separately. I can’t recommend it enough!

If you can't sleep with a bit of noise, it's maybe not for you tho because the flat is located in the center and lots of people are outside talking at night. But otherwise I recommend

The room matched the pictures. The bed could be more comfortable, and there were some issues with hot water pressure and thin walls, but overall, it was adequate. It is on a separate wing and proximity to laundry machines and service room can be a bit annoying. There were also initial issues with the room wifi which were sorted after giving me access to a different network.
I have rarely encountered such an unpleasant attitude. Due to their internal misunderstanding, I was not given the key to the apartment, only the room one. Hence, I went out and realised I couldn't enter back. When I raised the issue over the phone, the lady repeatedly answered that she was “sick and couldn't help me”, offering to cancel the reservation (At 8:30PM, after I had checked-in and with all my belongings inside…?!?). Subsequently, her brother came back and helpfully gave me the additional keys. Overall, the issue was resolved on my side, these things can happen.
However, the next morning the lady surprisingly confronted me in a really unpleasant manner, blaming me for disrespect (unclear for what, informing I was not given the keys?). She also asked if I was still planning to stay the whole duration of my booking, as if I was 'kindly' invited to leave. This made the remainder of my stay really uncomfortable. The lady might have been sick or in a wrong mood that day but simply can’t be that mad at customers for politely reporting issues. One would expect things to be working as listed and most basically, to be enabled access to the room.

The accommodation was impeccably maintained and offered an aesthetically pleasing, flawlessly clean environment. The premises were generously equipped, creating an extremely pleasant atmosphere during our stay. The location in Santa Cruz proved to be highly convenient and secure, making our stay all the more relaxing. Among the numerous amenities were complimentary Wi-Fi and a A small yet delicious breakfast and snacks. offering. The team was exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing smooth check-in and check-out and promptly addressing our concerns. The value for money was consistently appropriate and in line with the comfort provided. We felt safe at all times, both within the accommodation and in the surroundings. Very warm welcome from the host, Marta. We were shown around and offered tea, coffee and cake. Room was really interesting and very clean. It was right in the centre of the downtown area, with bars, shops and cafes right outside. Perfect location.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral und einfach super schön eingerichtet. Ich fühlte mich direkt wohl! Martha ist eine super Gastgeberin! Durch ihre herzliche und zuvorkommende Art lässt sie mich wie zuhause fühlen!
Nachts ist es durch die zentrale Lage nicht ganz so leise, wie auf einer verlassenen Finca, aber es war total ok!

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Der Eingang und der größte Teil der Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Die sehr zentrale Lage lädt zum erkunden der Stadt ein.
Die Gemeinschaftsküche wird offenbar auch mit Lebensmitteln geteilt. Ein Teil meiner mitgebrachten Lebensmittel wurde weggeräumt oder gegessen. Im Gegenzug wurden andere Lebensmittel kostenfrei gestellt. Es hat mich an alte WG-Zeiten erinnert.
Im Einzelzimmer empfängt man kein WLAN(einen Repeater anschaffen, der löst vermutlich schon das Problem), die Fernbedienung für den Fernseher hat gefehlt.

Realizaron el cobro de la reserva confirmando la misma y tras una hora me cancelan la reserva dejándome en calle. Y cuando llamo me comunican que me devuelven el dinero en una semana a 12 días.

Was für ein Start in den Teneriffa Urlaub. Niko Rooms war unsere erste Unterkunft in Santa Cruz und das war die beste Entscheidung. Wirklich zentral gelegen mitten in der Altstadt, sauber und wirklich modern und einzigartig eingerichtet. Das beste: Marta. Was für ein toller Charakter. Sie und ihr Sohn Niko haben uns herzlichst empfangen, sie hat uns Tipps für den Urlaub gegeben und für uns am nächsten morgen ein Frühstück hergerichtet, obwohl sie nicht musste. Wir haben uns mit ihr über Gott und die Welt unterhalten und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Danke dir Marta und beste Grüße :-)

Der ganze Auftritt, Empfang, Wohnung ist sensationell. Alles sehr professionell eingerichtet. Es ist ein Gesamtkunstwerk.
Die Lage ist top, mitten im Centrum und trotzdem ruhig. Ein Parkhaus ist in nächster Nähe. Wenn man möchte bekommt mann von der Gastgeberin noch ein paar Tips was lohnend ist zu besuchen.
Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen und hoffe aber, dass es, wenn ich wiederkomme nicht schon ausgebucht ist. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp.

We liked absolutely everything about this appartment. It was beautiful, clean and spacious and also very modern and artistic. We extended our stay twice because we loved it so much and the second day the host expanded our room for free to make more room for us because there were no other guests. We had the best room and the view to the street with colourful trees was our favourite. The bathroom was shared but always clean with everything we needed. The host was super friendly and nice, she gave us so many great tips for travelling and also had a breakfast with us. The price compared to the quality and the location is absolutely awesome. We hope to visit soon again.
