Nice stay at Luna's apartment!

Nice stay at Luna's apartment! When we arrived on a Sunday, the area felt like a quiet little town. But as the days went by, place became bustling. LOCATION - Easy 5 min walk to/from Sant'Agnello train station and Supero grocery - Nice restaurants around (Da Pepino for chicken, pizza, & pasta/Bar de Maio for coffee & pastries) - 20 to 30 mins walk to Piazza Tasso Sorrento - Although Sorrento is just one station away, trains run 1-2x per hour so there is waiting time. Costs €1.50 per way. If getting a taxi, may cost €20-€30. - 10 to 15 mins walk to nearby port and restaurants (beautiful sunset view and less crowds than the main sorrento port) - ATM, bus stops at the main municipal square - Taxi to Naples airport (Positano Taxi Transfers) cost us €150. Picked us up in front of Luna's apartment APARTMENT/AMENITIES - Very clean apartment! Kudos to Luna and the cleaner! - Complete amenities! Pretty homey. Anything you need, you will most likely find it! (adapters, utensils, vacuum, washing machine) - We liked that there is a lot of comfortable space and shelves/hangers to put our things on. - WIFI is reliable and fast! - Bed and pillows are comfortable. Towels/Linens are good quality and clean too. - Sofa is comfortable. It can be used as a bed. - Big ref to put all our food & drinks in from the grocery store. - We paid the city tax in cash and just left on the hallway table when we left. - Luna allowed us to check-in at 1pm when we arrived. - Best of all, LUNA! Responsive, proactive, and helpful! Amazing host! Replies quickly on WhatsApp and ready to help in any way she can. Thank you so much for everything, Luna!

THINGS TO NOTE (just to take into account, it doesn't mean it bothered us. It may be factors for you in considering this apartment.) - Train track is nearby. It runs 1-2x per hour. It didn't bother us at all. Just passes by for a few seconds. Duration 5am - 10pm. - Front of the apartment is a repair shop. - The floorboards are thin so you can definitely hear the people walking upstairs. We also tried to be considerate and treaded lightly as not to bother those living below us. - Luna's apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. There are 2 sets of stairs. If you have big luggages, you have to manually bring them up. It requires effort but achievable. We are in our 30s. - If you want all the touristy access, consider getting an apartment near Piazza Tasso. But if you want a break and just a quiet area but not too far from the center, book Luna's apartment!

Lovely apartment

Spacious apartment, as described in the pictures. 5 minutes walk from the station and the supermarkets and restaurants. Beds very comfortable, check in process very easy and straightforward. Very friendly host.

A microwave in the kitchen would be useful.

Exceptional

Luciana was so attentive and continually made contact to see if we needed anything. She was a great host. The apartment was really close to the railway station, supermarket and nice restaurants.The decor of the apartment was really nice and it was very clean. The 2 bedrooms were a very good size. The air conditioning was very welcome with temperatures well into the 30s. The living room was very comfortable with a very good quality TV. Luciana had also left food in the apartment for our arrival and other items e.g. dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent etc. which was very generous.

There is a railway line at the back of the apartment but in fairness the trains passing were not too loud and the station being so near was a great advantage.

Perfect apartment for a family or solo traveller

This was the best apartment I had in all of my Italy trip. It’s a very recently renovated apartment, fully furnished and fully equipped in the quiet area of Sorrento/Sant Angelo, I felt like I was at home. The owner is wonderful and super helpful, even going out of her way to help me when I got lost on the wrong train and provided a list of places to visit based on my interests. The property is 2min from transport to Sorrento main beach or a short walk to Sant Angelo beach. Heaps of little shops, cafes and a good mix of restaurants nearby.

There was nothing I didn’t like, as stated the property is close to public transport so during the day you can hear the train but they don’t run at night so it won’t effect your sleep
