About this cottage rental

Take in a spectacular view perched on an elevated deck overlooking the water. We think you’ll appreciate the alluring ambiance of this quaint, well appointed cottage that has a lot of character. Sleep in a comfortable queen sized bed in the loft while a sofa bed is available in the main living area. Enjoy the comfort of a screened porch that’s designed to be “the best room in the house”! Bring your boat and use our ramp to put it in and dock it. You’ll have access to both electricity and water from the dock. The dock and the elevated deck are equipped with tables with umbrellas and cushioned chairs to provide you with comfort and all you need to settle in and enjoy the pleasures of being on a dock on a lake! Please note that we have 2 well behaved and adorable male Pomeranians that will be on the premise and that we will respect your willingness to interact with them or not.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Swanee cottage! Patti and Stan were absolutely amazing hosts, so kind and hospitable. They truly made us feel welcome in their home. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The grounds were well kept and the docks on the lake were so relaxing! We couldn’t have had a better experience. We will be back again for sure! Thank you so much Patti and Stan! Can’t wait for our next visit!

This property is adorable. We had everything we needed. The hosts were the most accommodating people ever! The house was spotless! The front screened porch was amazing. We could not possibly have hoped for a better trip. A weekend is just too short. We would love a winter booking but not sure if they rent in the wintertime. Wonderful people! Wonderful place!

Patti and Stan were absoultuely wonderful. The cottage was perfect for the two of us. The lake was beautiful and we utilized the paddle board and kayaks every morning. Close to many shops and restaurants. Well worth the trip. Thanks for the hospitality Patti and Stan!

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Patti and Stan were such gracious hosts and the house was absolutely adorable and we felt so at home! Loved just sitting out by the lake and listening to nature. A much needed break from the constant go, go, go of our city life

We enjoyed our stay; and the owners with all of their special little touches to the cottage and the atmosphere made it difficult to leave. They provided floats and kayaks that we all enjoyed. Our girls loved playing with Ozzie and Odie. Patti and Stan were so friendly and we loved spending time with them. We even found out we have some mutual friends. We hope to return soon.

My friends and I were in the area for a high school reunion and absolutely loved staying here! It’s prime location on the lake, beautiful property and everything is so very clean and wonderful. The property owners are so nice and have the best response time in communicating. Will definitely book again!!!!!

Wonderful owners, very friendly and accommodating. Cottage has a beautiful view of the lake and all the amenities we needed. Great fishing on a point about 100 yards away. Weekend was very relaxing, we intend to stay here again in the future.

This place was perfect for my wife and I to enjoy her 60th birthday! Pam loves to bass fish and the ramp, dock and easy electrical plug ins made so easy to enjoy it all. Very safe for our equipment and the hosts Patti and Stan were super friendly! She even had birthday signs up for us!

This was a great cottage for our little family of 4. The hosts were very friendly and even took us on a boat ride, which our kids enjoyed so much! The house had everything we needed- and we really appreciated all of the little extras in the kitchen that we forgot to bring.

We were in town for a bass tournament. Stan and Patti are awesome! Check in was a breeze and communication was top-notch! Property is great with everything you could ever need! Plenty of parking space for a truck and bass boat. Absolutely beautiful setting with great sitting areas with great views and very peaceful.

Took my bass boat for a fishing trip, ramp was very convenient and long enough to work even with the lake down more than 6 feet. Power was available at the ramp to recharge the batteries. Hosts were more than helpful with anything we needed and the hospitality was unbelievable. My first ever trip like this, but certainly not my last, plan on returning in he spring.

This little gem of a house is amazing. My wife, daughter and i spent this past week here and were blown away with the adorable property, the location and the wonderful hosts. Stan is the man! The little things thought of as well as his and my conversations were so appreciated and enjoyed. Looking forward to our next stay here!

My husband and I rent properties about three times a year on Lake Murray. This’s the first one I would rent again! Mrs. Patti and her husband were the best host. Everything you need for a getaway! My husband birthday is in October and I will try to get the location again! If you love fishing this is the place! We are planning on bringing our boat next month.Honestly,you can fish right from the dock! We had some family stop by and they are still talking about the location! I could write a short story about the fun we had! I can’t forget when we arrived there was a cake and card! Lol.. it’s my birthday month! Again thanks for allowing us to enjoy y’all hidden gem!😊 We will be back!
