House is a short walk to numerous trailheads in the San Gabriel foothill hikes, or walk a little less than a mile to the hip local coffee shop Unincorporated.

We recommend having a car to access other local spots and restaurants. The house is a short drive to the Rose Bowl, Old Town Pasadena, Norton Simon Museum, Huntington Gardens, Descanso Gardens, and Pasadena Playhouse. The Rose Bowl Stadium is 3.5 miles from the house. Enjoy world class music and sports games, golfing at Brookside Park, KidSpace Museum, Rose Bowl Aquatics Center with Olympic size pool, an archery range, fly fishing practice pool, Rose Parade float viewing area, the Rose Bowl Flea Market on the second Sunday of every month, and year-round running and walking trails.

Farnsworth Park is 1.5 miles away located at the top of Lake Avenue. You can ride your bike to a mountain biking trail head of Brown Mountain and explore the biking and hiking trails around NASA’s JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) where the Mars rovers were developed. Hahamongna Park has a world class Frisbee Golf course and is a popular horse back riding area.
