This apartment was relatively well appointed and features a beautiful roof terrace, but the noise was atrocious. Communication with hosts was difficult as well due to it being a "management company" - we always had someone different responding and sometimes received conflicting information. I did not appreciate their sending me communication separate from Vrbo and trying to get me to register on their own platform either. Location is right across from one of the noisier bars in Temple Bar - they play live music well past midnight and it is not traditional irish music or anything like that - think Bruce Springsteen and "Sweet Caroline". If you plan on going to those types of places, staying out late, and hanging out on the roof with your friends, this could be a good fit.

We were very happy with our stay. Fantastic communication and host very helpful with questions. Apartment is bang in the action and could not be more central. Other reviews said hot water could be an issue but wasn’t and use the boiler button and turn the shower the right way and it’s fine! Be aware it’s noisy late at night but it is in the temple bar! And this was fine for us. Roof top terrace great in warm Weather also. Would return. Thanks

Renters beware!! This VRBO location’s description leaves out some very pertinent information. You don’t receive the exact location until the day of check-in, eliminating the opportunity to canvas the area and possibly cancel your reservation if you find out it is surrounded on all sides by pubs/bars advertising live music nightly, all while posting noise restrictions on guests after 10pm. They also neglected to mention that the hot water heater only has enough hot water for one 15 minute shower, only after boosting the water heater and waiting 30 minutes. This was discovered after finally reaching someone at one of three property management operations. They advertise the place for 6 people- more than 3 hours for showers? The 24 hour fully exit signs throughout the unit make sleeping with ear plugs for the music even more challenging. VRBO and property managers were not helpful in helping us navigate cancelling and getting a refund for this unacceptable rental. They actually required proof of cold water by email. Not sure how a video of running water would indicate temperature.

If you're going on a Dublin pub crawl this is your place. The apartment is situated for groups rather than families. There's one small bedroom with a double bed and a much larger bedroom with 4 single beds. We were not given check in instructions until the morning of arrival. The listing had a 2pm check in time. But after landing we were told it was now 3pm and later 3:30pm. I was instructed to go to a street corner look for a bike chain with an attached lock box and get the key from there. Kind of a scavenger hunt idea. But not such great fun if you're dragging around luggage and a toddler in nasty weather. When we finally found the lockbox I discovered there were no keys inside. The cleaning guy had them. Which was a problem because he also had the key to the front door of the building so we couldn't just walk in and knock on the apartment door. When we finally got into the building we found the apartment was at the top of 3 flights of stairs. Once inside we had no hot water and no instructions in the check in email as to how to turn it on. Only until the next day were we told to use a QR code on an instruction sheet left in the living room to watch a video as to how to turn on the "boost" button hidden in the hot water heater closet. On the plus side the apartment is large and within walking distance to many sites. I typically give 5 star reviews so it pains me to give this place just 3.
