The property was wonderful! Its was very clean, well appointed, and in a very central location. I loved that it was on the bike trail and Hill City is a sweet little town.

Our stay was great! Everything was just as listed.

This is a great cabin conveniently located right outside Hill City. Check in process and communication with owner was great! Property and cabin are beautiful and very clean and comfortable. Great for bird watching as it is located right by lots of pines and a creek. A very relaxing and comfortable stay for my husband and I with our two adult boys. Highly recommended!

Amazed with the cleanliness of this property! It felt like home from the moment we walked in. Great location with access to adorable Hill City, hiking and exploring!

Beautiful and wonderful cabin! Quiet location when no cars drive by (it’s literally next to the road!). Only challenges were safety with the railings on the deck being unsecured and a strange visit in the middle of the night. Without those safety concerns, it would be a great place to stay if you don’t mind the road noise.

Cabin was clean, well stocked with towels, pots, pans etc.. Great location, being centralized in the Hills, close to Hill City for a quick run to the grocery store or a downtown walkabout. We had a great time in the Hills and our log cabin stay was a huge part of it! We will be back! Todd

Comfortable house with everything we needed, cooked several dinners plus made breakfast and packed lunch every day. Perfect base for hiking Black Elk Peak/Cathedral Spires/Little Devils Tower, the Flume Trail; the scenic drives, caves, Custer SP, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse. 10 min from grocery and breweries. It was unseasonably cold so we couldn’t enjoy the deck but appreciated the garage when we got 5” of snow (in September!). Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Everything we hoped and more! Clean, comfortable, bright, secluded but convenient, simply the perfect home away from home.

Four of us stayed in this cabin on a beautiful fall weekend. The cabin looks up at a hillside and deer are frequent visitors. There's also a creek in the backyard that provides a wonderful ambiance. The location is perfect for accessing Custer State Park, Rushmore, and many more attractions. Highly recommend!

Great cabin for our family. Clean, in a great location with some room for the kids to run around. Highly recommend!

Great place for a family to come home to after a day of exploring the Black Hills. Quiet and clean. Fishing pond is an added bonus for the kids.

Great place! Perfect location for all black hills activities!

LOVED staying here. Stayed at the beginning of motorcycle week even though I'm not a motorcycle person. Location was very nice and quite.
The cabin was beautiful, wish we could of stayed longer.
There is a very small creek in between the cabin and hill but not deep enough for fishing which is why I chose this cabin (one of my bucket list items).
Only downfall, it was warm and humid during out stay and it seemed like the room A/C's couldn't keep up.

Loved the cabin, the deer, the little town - so close to town, so close to "the heads..." great overall place.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Newton Creek Cabin. It was centrally located, homey, and the perfect size. It was close to tourist attractions as well as dining. The house had everything you need. It was very comfortable. I am rating lower on the cleanliness of the property because, upon arrival, every surface of the property was covered in dead flies. I am assuming a bug bomb had been done just before our arrival. However, walking into that and having to clean it up as well as maintain the occurring dead bugs throughout the entirety of our stay was not ideal. Thank goodness there was a vacuum! Other than that - sheets, towels, dishes were all clean. The dead flies/bug situation would be our only complaint. We would definitely recommend this property to others and hope to stay here again in the future!

Newton Creek Cabin met all of our expectations The location was great for our needs and the management pleasant to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Newton Creek Cabin was a pleasure! Everything worked, it was a nice surprise for us to find there was Dish Network and a large flat-panel TV, with lots of available channels. Wi-fi worked fine, although it's DSL and slow. The cabin itself had everything we needed to prepare meals there, the beds were comfy and the cabin itself is just far away enough from Hill City so that it felt rural. There is a small issue with non-biting flies that are a bit of a nuisance in the spring & fall, they like to get inside because it's getting cold outside. We killed several dozen of them. Still, it's not like it negatively affected our stay or anything. They were only active a few hours a day. We would stay there again!

Open interior cabin style house with large front porch and 2 car garage (plenty to cover 4 large cruiser motorcycles with gear). Right off paved road, not far from town, but still feels separate from other residential areas. Great to unwind after a days long ride around the beautiful black hills. short gravel drive is clean 1inch rock, that shouldn't be an issue for an experienced/seasoned motorcycle rider. Grill on porch to cook on.

Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect. Close to town but far enough where you have a little privacy. The grounds were beautiful. Very clean and they have everything you need.

Our family enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was very clean, internet and TV. Was nice to have a garage for our cars. Easy access to Hill City, Keystone and Custer.

Our family stayed here on a trip to see the Black Hills and could not have had a better time. The property itself is in a quiet and beautiful area. You are not far from many of the attractions of the Black Hills, and only minutes away from Hill City which has some good restaurants and a convenient grocery store. At the end of a fun day, the cabin provides a comfortable and relaxing place to watch the sun set on the hills.

The cabin is very clean and had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. We grilled every night and enjoyed our meals on the deck. My kids loved playing in the huge yard and the creek. The location is great if you want to be close to Hill City and all the nearby attractions but with it being a few miles outside of town you can still enjoy some quiet and seclusion. We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was exactly what we had expected. Quiet and just far enough out of town to feel calm and peaceful. Was wonderful to have our own space at the end of busy days seeing the sites.

The cabin was very clean, the bedding was newer and sheets were very soft, the kitchen supplies were also newer and nice (decent quality), the rugs and carpet looked new and very clean (again good quality), the use of the garage was a major bonus, the deck has nice no maintenance wood so no slivers on little feet and a bonus gate to keep our toddler from running off the porch, the TV’s were very nice (Sony brand), and the onsite laundry was a major bonus for our family of 5! We all didn’t want to leave and would stay again in a heartbeat!

The family had a great time exploring SD Blackhills from this location. We felt like we were in the heart of the action. The Newton-Creek Cabin was the perfect place to come back to and relax/regroup. Will be going back!

The location is perfect for a variety of activities- everyone would have something to do. The house was very quiet - we were not bothered by traffic noise. Very clean and just as described. Will stay there again

The Newton Creek Cabin was absolutely wonderful! The cabin offers everything needed to optimize your stay to include cozy three bedrooms, an awesome grill with propane and all the appliances and amenities imaginable (laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, bathroom products, etc). Sitting on the deck listening to the babbling creek and watching for deer as the cooler evening approaches was a nice change! I absolutely recommend this wonderful and peaceful cabin!!

The property was wonderful for our family of four with two small kids. Out of town enough for some quiet time but close enough for a quick drive to food and fun. Easy access to the main road and Mickelson Trail (Road runs right near the house, so if you are looking for a true wilderness experience, keep that in mind). Beautiful little creek behind the house to splash around in. Clean and very comfortable. We hope to be back soon!

This cabin home was a great location for our vacation. It's conveniently located, central to all the tourist favorites,…but it's out in the country off the main beaten path and offers much quiet and privacy. We were able to do so much without having to spend much time in the car. The cabin was immaculate with a well-equipped kitchen. We shopped for groceries locally and prepared many of our meals in the cabin's kitchen. We were very pleased with this property and would book it again in a heartbeat.

This cabin was so cute and lived up to every expectation that we had! We loved listening to the sound of the creek and our kids enjoyed playing in it. Location was exactly what we were looking for. It was well stocked and loved the grill for cooking out. We would definitely recommend this cabin to another family.

This little cabin was a great location for our family vacation to see the sites in South Dakota. We had a great time. Everything was very nice. Love the cabin atmosphere. The walking trail was great each morning. Thanks again.

This place is perfect! A short 3 mile drive to Hill City, but far enough away to have your space/privacy. The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning to take it all in. I was in town for a half marathon, but it is a short drive to Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Memorial, and only an hour to the Badlands. We had a great stay and would definitely love to be back!
4.9
Very clean and relaxing cozy cabin with everything you need. The garage is available to use, which was nice since we had our bikes and it rained half the weekend. We were able to store them inside. The porch is big and had a total of 6 chairs plus a heavy duty picnic table. Also loved the extra blankets in the closets, they were really soft! Overall, great place to stay!!
4.9
We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin is in a good, central Hills location, and well set up. Evenings were spent on back deck watching the Deer graze on the mountain side.
4.9
We found the location of the cabin to be excellent! It was 20 to 30 minutes from most attractions. We appreciated the cleanliness of the cabin too. Our girls quickly started referring to it as "home."

We had a great stay and the property was a very nice spot for our family of 5 for a few days. It was a gorgeous log cabin with a great porch!
