The property was clean and what we expected. However there would be a lot of noise from traffic into the early am hours. This property essentially has no parking. There is a parking garage across the street but it only does monthly rates. The only other two alternatives are on the street or another parking garage next to the Douglass Theater. Which is open to the world, all this in a town that has the highest crime rate in the state of Georgia. So I had a sleepless first night worring about our new car whether it would be there in the morning or be missing its catalytic converter.
Coupled with fact that down town seems to be a haven for junkies and dead beats. As we were leaving the lofts we were confronted by one of these people urinating on the side-walk right in front of the entrance to the Lofts. This then transitioned in to him pulling his pants down and deffocating. That of course made a "great" start to the day. I have stayed two other times in Macon recently on the north side of town without all these worries.
Usually when staying at a VRBO they will leave a welcome letter in the room giving basic info about the tv and checking out but not here. Some of the check in requirements are over the top like sending a selfie and a criminal check etc. But I guess thats understandable. Seeing what the location is. I tried to cancel but I was told I couldn't with out loosing the money. This was less than 24hrs after the initial booking. Downtown Macon never again!

It was actually a perfect location for me, beautiful apartment noise level during the week great. Only towards the weekend did it get louder in the evenings. But I would definitely stay here again.

Location was next to several restaurants - local bar on the ground level was loud after midnight!

Having driven around (and sometimes straight through) Macon an endless number of times, we decided it would be a great place for a weekend getaway. This spacious property was fabulous with everything we could have needed: close proximity to restaurants and museums, exceedingly clean and comfortable, and very secure.
We preferred to walk to nearby restaurants instead of utilizing the kitchen much, but it had everything we could have wanted: plenty of dishes, pans, utensils, toaster, Keurig coffee maker. If you are planning to travel over Fourth of July, be aware that most nearby restaurants will be closed so you will have to get in the car and probably find a chain somewhere.
We started our morning with a trip to the Visitors' Center, learning more about the area from two of the sweetest volunteers. We grabbed some brochures from local attractions and walked to the Tubman Museum, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The Sports Museum is right across the street, both within a block of the loft.
Parking was easy in a nearby lot using a mobile app.
The people of Macon are friendly and very proud of the Southern Rock roots that run deep in the town. It's fun seeing all the old memorabilia and concert posters that adorn the walls of the local restaurants. The loft also has some vintage records among the fun theme of the Otis Redding room. We appreciated the thoughtful additions of plenty of towels, a big closet, games, and a bar setup with copper mugs and bar tools.

We loved this apartment! Location right in downtown Macon was perfect. We walked everywhere. The place is adorable and we listened to every album on the record player. It made for a perfect stay! It out did our expectations! We were there to watch our son play for Macon Bacon but we would go back to stay and hang in downtown Macon again.

This was a very nice stay for my wife and I. Check in was seamless and we actually were able to check in an hour early after traveling all morning, which was very nice. Upon entering the unit, we noticed it was impeccably cleaned and everything was nice. The unit was equipped with everything you’d need to stay 4-5 days away from home.
This unit was located less than a mile from the convention center. My wife was able to work from the unit while I attended a conference and says she had no issues with internet connectivity. The location is in the middle of a historic district downtown Macon and we were able to walk to dinner and have a drink at the lounge downstairs. The bed was comfortable and there was ample room for 2 people. All the kitchenware was available for our use. The owners left laundry pods for us to do laundry and that was a great touch and added bonus we didn’t expect. One of our favorite parts of
our stay was the awesome shower and water pressure. As a chronic sufferer of back pain, this was such a plus away from home. Thank you Vector for such attention to detail.
We noticed that in the last day, the air condition wouldn’t cool the unit, so we aren’t sure if it was programmed on check out day or what but it made packing up quite uncomfortable as the temperature quickly rose in the Georgia summer. Other than this mornings issue with the unit not cooling- we had an amazing stay and we would absolutely stay here again!
