Terrific location and accommodations

Ticked many boxes, location, ease of access, rooms, facilities, all excellent. Great to have a garage to park the car too. Our long weekend in Edinburgh involved golf and rugby, and we couldn't have been in a better place for both. Just a short walk to the west end, and a stroll to Murrayfield. We will hopefully use the flat again. Just one tiny thing. Would love a nespresso coffee machine if possible, but really not a worry.

We absolutely loved our stay in Edinburgh and highly recommend this lovely Mews to anyone looking for a comfortable home away from home. There are gorgeous garden views from the windows and lovely features to this historic Mews property. Close to shops, the Castle and Royal Mile. We will definitely be coming again :)

The location was perfect and the place was clean. It was a great fit for us.

Location is good, best thought to either use a taxi or walk into town as public transport offerings a good walk afar.
Shops about 400 metres away - downhill.
If you have heavy suitcases and strong then suitcases up stairs best bet. If not then places to put a suitcase in the ground floor are limited. Number 7 could benefit from having a suitcase stand.
Ground floor has good kitchen with good counter space and bath can fit two in a squeeze 😏
Ground floor bedroom is a tighter fit with small ensuite.
Premises clean, linen and towels clean and bathrooms clean and tidy.
Neighbours are quiet

Stayed here for our wedding weekend. The host couldn't be more accommodating. Communication was excellent and they where incredibly helpful. The house was spotless and well equipped. The house has the perfect location to find peace in a busy city. 5 mins walk takes you into the heart of the city. Just perfect.

Very nice 3 bedroom home with all of the amenities needed for our family of five. Walk to shopping and main tourist attractions is about 20 minutes away. Our stay was very pleasant and we would highly recommend this home to others.

This house was delightful. It was comfortable, had everything we needed, and was in a wonderful location for exploring the city of Edinburgh and surrounding areas. The host even left several Scottish snacks for us to sample.

We had a lovely stay at 7 Gloucester Square. It's in a great location, just a short walk from all you could need. Less than a mile for most attractions in Edinburgh. It's a bit hilly around the area, but everywhere is easily accessible on foot if you're ok with hills.
Managed to get our large 7-seater car into the brilliant garage without much trouble.
House was lovely and welcoming, clean sheets, comfy beds, fluffy towels and a great 'welcome treats' tray, thank you. Lots of thoughtful touches like tooth brush holders, shopping bags, bins in most rooms, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, toilet roll and hand soap.
We really loved our stay here, it felt cosy...like a home from home. There were also some board games and some books to choose from. Great HD smart TV.
We have a family of 5 (2 adults, 1 12 year old and 10 year old twins) and we had plenty of space.
Great host with great comms.
Sorry we forgot to write in the visitor's book, but we just wanted to say and big thank you and that we had a lovely time in your home.

Our family of five had the perfect amount of space to spread out and also to come together over the three days we spent in Edinburgh! The house has everything we needed and was in a great location! Thank you for the sweets that you left for us! We had a wonderful time in your lovely home!

We really enjoyed our stay here for two weeks! The home is well kept, and it's within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, the Botanic Gardens, and an excellent farmer's market on Sundays. Highly recommend a stay here!

We immediately felt at home! Spacious, safe, and quiet. We wanted to experience life outside the main part of the city. This was the perfect distance away. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, clean unit. We would definitely come back here again!

Extremely quiet and very comfortable, and just a few minutes' walk from Princes Street and all its shops and restaurants, which was amazingly convenient. Parking in the garage was very useful, my Vauxhall Insignia fitted in without any problems. We very much appreciated the provision of consumables such as toilet rolls, shampoo and shower gel, dishwasher tablets, etc. The owner was very helpful and communicative. Would highly recommend!

Great Location Comfortable Lodging
Disclaimer we lost our luggage for 4 days while we were there, so it was a little stressful. Thank you British Airways....Cute place with the occasional spider webs and mold behind the bathroom showerhead and handles....the reason for not a perfect score. Beds were comfortable. The location was ideal. There were plenty of shops for us to shop at to replace our luggage loss issues. Wifi was weak in certain rooms, I think this is due to the age and structure of the house. Owner was easy to contact and helped us as much as she could. She gave us great recommendations for places to eat at. I would stay there again....

Quiet and ideal location
Nice property in a quiet but central location. Easy walking distance to Stockbridge and central Edinburgh. Great nearby restaurants. Wi-Fi info needs updating, different sofas and dining table than pictured. The small en-suite would have benefitted from a better clean to skirting board by the bin and shower, which was a little disappointing.

Family Get Together
The property was perfect for our family of 5, 4 adults, 1 child age 6 in both size & location. It was spotlessly clean and well supplied. We hadn't been together for 3 years because of Covid as we live on different sides of the Atlantic. It was very easy to get around the city and plenty of space just to sit & visit. We plan to come again.

Peace and Quiet
The property was beautifully peaceful. At times you could almost hear a `pin' drop. We slept exceptionally well in the very comfortable beds. A little awkward getting into the garage with the car but got used to it the longer we stayed. Within 5 minutes of Princes street and Rose Street with restaurants and pubs readily available. Great location to the `sights of Edinburgh Castle and the Christmas festival. Make sure you have your walking shoes on as Edinburgh in general is uphill and downhill.
Everything provided for in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again given the opportunity!!!

Anthony Edinburgh Stay
7 Gloucester Square is a lovely house and in an ideal spot to walk into the city centre. Couple of minor sides nothing serious the downstairs bathroom next to the front door it comes really slippy when having a shower probably need a non slip mat in there for grip. The upper lock on the inside of the garage its abit sharp on the edges my father in law cut his hand as it was a bit difficult to push across.
Everyone that was there really enjoyed the house and loved the location as it was really quiet. It had everything that we wanted we loved the stay and would stay again if we come to Edinburgh again.
If you wanna stay close to the city in a quiet place book 7 Gloucester Square.

Great property!
We had an great time at this property. What a fantastic location to see the beautiful city of Ediburgh. This was our first time in the country. Rebecca was very accommodating as we had to reschedule once due to Covid rules. She was very quick to answer any questions everytime. Having a garage was a huge plus. Rebecca provided a binder with helpful tips and locations for food, restaurants, phone numbers etc. The apartment had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again and give 5+ stars if I could. Thanks!

Perfect Base
Stayed here for a week with grown up children, perfect holiday home base to leave the car in the garage and explore Edinburgh by foot. Comfy clean beds, great little house in quiet corner of Gloucester Place. Few minutes walk from Stockbridge, supermarket, lovely little shops, pubs and restaurants, super market on a Sunday that is worth a visit. Here are a few things you do Not need to take with you….. kitchen cloths, washing up liquid, bottle opener, dishwasher tabs, loo roll unless you use tonnes of it, hand wash (also shower gel, conditioner and some little shampoos are there if you don’t want to take your own).. Do take washing tabs if you want to use the machine though. We had a really great week, Rebecca was at the end of the phone for any queries, would highly recommend a stay here!👌🏼

Super house in fantastic location
Lovely house with everything we needed. Was fantastic having a garage so we just put the car in on arrival and then explored the city on foot. Fabulous location just minutes from Stockbridge town which is a lovely area for independent shops and restaurants. Had a fabulous meal at the Scran & Scallie.
Easy to walk into Edinburgh New and Old Towns too and it was incredibly quiet in and around the house.
Would highly recommend! Thank you Rebecca.

Delightful cosy little gem
This house is amazingly peaceful given the New Town location. Very nicely and comfortably appointed. Everything sparkling clean. Comfortable bed and pure cotton bed linen. Many excellent eating places nearby. We had a great week here and would love to come again.

Perfect In Nearly Every Way
Wonderful flat. Brilliant location - 5min walks to Stockbridge and to the centre of Edinburgh. Beautifully presented, cosy, immaculate, and quiet. Owner Rebecca was unfailingly prompt and helpful in reply to any queries. Only (small) thing is that the garage looks much more easily accessible in the photos than it is in reality - it's on the corner end of the Square and is quite tight and awkward to reverse into. But having any type of parking in the city centre is a gift, and once you get the hang of it, the flat becomes perfect!

Home Away from Home
This was our first time in Edinburgh and the house was very welcoming. There was plenty of space for our family of four to unwind. The kitchen is spacious with everything you need. The washer + dryer was a huge bonus. The beds were comfortable and the towel warmers in the bathrooms were a special treat. The host was very kind and left all the information one would need to navigate the city. We went to the Sunday Market right near the house and had the best time chatting with locals and tasting local foods. We picked up several gifts to take home.
We are already looking forward to planning a return trip. We highly recommend this home if you are visiting Edinburgh.

5 stars!
The new town home in Edinburgh was in the best location for exploring the city and at few same time very quiet and peaceful at then end of the day. The beds are great and the house was very clean! I needed to talk to Rebecca and she responded immediately.

This little townhome in Edinburgh was sweet, clean, comfortable and close to restaurants and pubs. I really have no complaints other than finding it (more my fault than the owner's). It is tucked away in the New Town area of the city. What I loved about it was the quiet area, the size of the rooms, the layout. Getting in the garage would be a challenge to a larger vehicle, but it was sure nice to have. I also felt very safe there.

Perfect flat, perfect location, perfect host. The only thing we didn't like about 7 Glouster Square was that we had to leave! We hope to stay here again in the not too distant future.

Edinburgh stay
My family and I thought the place was perfect. Good sized bedrooms, spacious kitchen with breakfast room with large table. Everything we needed was available for us to have a nice breakfast before heading out for the day.
Nice 2nd floor living room to relax, watch TV or read a book before turning in for the evening.
Short walking distance to old town, new town and stock bridge sections of town.
The owner of the home, Rebecca, was responsive and made check-in and check-out a breeze.
Would stay again if and when back in Edinburgh.
