Location was great, room and beds were good size. Facility was in need of a lot of repair though.

Management received our family with such warmth, amd made our weekend that much better! Definitely coming back!

Great stay. This place is more of a rustic place that is affordable. If you want fancy and modern this place may not be for you. Management is very nice and even came after the office was close to unlock a bathroom door in our room.
They also have a friendly cat that my children were allowed to come in the office and pet many times.
Come here if you enjoy a friendly staff and an affordable place.

Nice quiet location with cabins designed for the experience. Unfortunately the cabins and facilities need maintenance and repairs.

It checked the boxes. Proximity to Alpine slide was great.

Perfect stay.

Cozy separated cabins and convenient location. Easy to book last minute. Staff was friendly and communicative. However, the cabin we stayed in was not clean. We have young children that we didn't want sitting or playing on the floor because it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months. There were spiderwebs in the windowsills and corners in every room, so we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

it was really bad overall. They charged me an extra $40 dollars for charging an electronic vehicle without my authorization or letting me know I will be charged, and the cost of charing an electronic vehicle doesn't state anywhere in lodge’s rule. This place is rude, dirty, unfriendly. It was raining & snowing and there is no way i can use Tesla mobile charger, not to mention that, they only have 110v on site. I stopped and went the Tesla Supercharging station on the same day!

Amazing experience my family love the cabin big and spacious living room kitchen and bedrooms. Very helpful staff

Cabin was spacious. Property manager lived on-site and he was friendly. Property was a little run down. We found moldy coffee grounds in coffee maker. Beds had blocks holding up the center. No extra blankets. They asked that dirty dishes were washed before checking out but provided no dish rack.

Super simple for a family getaway. Check in and check out was so easy. Good location. Everything we needed

Nice place. Room was a little tight for 3 with a dog. We had the 1 br. No items to clean dishes, so bring your own. Water gets REALLY hot.

I was not given the room I wanted from the web page. I saw pictures of a room with kitchen. paid for reservations.. gave me a different room.. then charged me more money for a room with a kitchen..

Old property, but wonderful. Great atmosphere and a prime location for lake activities. And was less than a 5 min drive to the village.

It is a very nice place. The bedding was clearly not clean. I didn’t have any problem because I took my own. But it was not nice to see that the blankets were not clean.

Cable was great! Comfortable bed ! Very nice manger. Will recommend.

This place is a great little getaway. It is not the 4 seasons but its is a good priced place a little of the beaten path. The highway is pretty busy and loud but that is just because of the tourist traffic.

It is located five minute drive from downtown and from the lake. Very peaceful and the people who work there are friendly and ready to assist all customers. I do highly recommend this place. And the price is cheaper than most other lodges.

We had a great stay! Just know that cabins are old. They are full of charm but quite old. Bedding and furniture needs to be updated. We had friends in the area so it was fine for us since we just slept there.

Max the property manager met us at the door. He is a very hospitable man. We were early for check in, but he accommodated us immediately. We saw him frequently around the property & he always asked how everything was. We used the bbq grill, they provide one for every room & had a Windom time. The pool was clean & very refreshing.

Perfect spot for a quick and easy getaway. We stayed in cabin 6 and enjoyed the one of a kind decor! Full kitchen was perfect for making meals and bringing our own food. Cooking supplies and dishware were provided. The pool was so nice! Location is very convenient to the lake and just a few minutes down the road from town. No complaints here.

Everything was great, and was one of the best spots to stay for going snowboard. The only thing that was wrong with the place is the shower leaked on the floor.

Wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Front desk person was very friendly. Easy check in. Place had a nice little kitchen.

This was a last minute trip & the pictures were not great, so i didn't have high expectations. I was surprised! It was a nice and cozy cabin. My daughters and I enjoyed a movie, hot cocoa and the fireplace during a snowy night. Though the kitchen only had two cups and limited utensils.

I got a call while out birding from the manager to say that I had self check in since I arrived late. It's a cute little suite up in the top of a building, with dated decorations. Definitely not modern but very comfortable. I would stay there again for sure.

Rustic room and venue at a reasonable price. We go to Big Bear every year for a bridge tournament. it's one of our favorite places to stay. There are many similar choices in this charming village.

The mountain cabin I reserved was all that I expected. It had the look and feel of a ski cabin that had seen a lot of ski boot traffic. For the money (Less than Motel Seis), I was satisfied. The front door needed to be replaced. The deadbolt worked. The shower was extremely slipperry. I mentioned both to the front desk. The towels were of car washing quality. I always bring my own for this reason. The town was the jewel on this trip. I would stay here for the rock bottom value and bring all my camping gear too.

The man who checked us in/out was very friendly, and our cabin was ready so we were allowed to check in earlier than the posted time. They have wood for the fireplace for a small fee. The only downfall was that our cabin was next to the road so traffic woke us up too early. I would definitely stay here again.

The room didn't feel clean. We had ants. so all food had to stay in the refrigerator. The bedding was awful, Comforter was ripped and had a pretty big blood stain on it. But what could I say! You get what you pay for!!!!

Well, I read a review beforehand stating it was very dirty... but there were also some good reviews so I thought 1 person had had a bad experience. Unfortunately, the cabin we rented was extremely off-putting - so much so that my husband and I decided to leave (which has never happened).
When we first walked in I noticed 4 large windows in the cabin. I quickly realized that none of the blinds shut - I'm talking huge gaping gaps where anyone who was outside could see in. Both my husband and I tried to fix them, and eventually went to ask the owner to move us. He came to the room and "fixed" them (they were much better), but my husband still had to wedge newspapers into the gaps for privacy. Then, I went to take a shower... there was a paper on the toilet saying it had been sanitized, but I lifted the lid to use it and to say it politely, no, it had not been cleaned. There were also enormous amounts of dust in the TV area. I just felt gross and as if the cabin was contaminated with germs.
To be fair, the cabin was spacious, there was a large fireplace, and the owner was kind. But that wasn't enough to entice us to stay. We preferred to drive 3 hours home and sleep in our own beds. Wouldn't recommend this cabin based on our experience.

Our stay at Timberline Lodge was pleasant. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and gave us discount tickets for ski equipment rental. The cabins were nice but the cleanliness left something to be desired. There was a sock left on the floor from a previous occupant. And I am not sure when the cabin was last vacuumed and dusted. For the price we paid, we were given a great value for our money. The fireplace was a definite plus. We would stay there again. And we would recommend it to our friends.
