About this apartment rental
This charming 1 bedroom is located just 1 block from Resurrection Bay and the Sea Life Center and 1 street over from downtown shops and restaurants. One of Sewards oldest buildings and originally a boarding house from the old railroad days, come stay and be part of Sewards history. Speaking of history, we are right behind the museum/library. This rental has been totally renovated but we kept some of the old charm. Kitchen has single hot plate burner, convection oven, microwave and refrigerator. Also 1 bedroom, bathroom and living space. We are quiet building and observe quiet hours. We have local residents who also live in the building. We provide employment opportunity for a local resident with your cleaning fee. Parking is free in the front of the building. Great walking path 1 block away that leads to the small boat harbor 1 mile away. Accommodates 2 adults

It was just what we needed. A comfy bed, hot shower and a way to make coffee. We enjoyed the cute decor and welcome note. Overall a great stay at a great location. There was some confusion in which apartment we were in but we just checked doors until our code worked.

This little apartment is exactly what I wanted for a night in Seward. It is located conveniently right in the middle of downtown only a few blocks away from the waterfront, the SeaLife Center, and the restaurants of downtown.
The host was extremely communicative and a pleasure to deal with. If you are interested in a cozy spot to return to after a day out and about I would highly recommend staying here.

We LOVED our stay at Marathon by the Sea - the bed was so extremely comfortable and cozy. Great location- we walked a block to the courthouse to get married!
Well stocked with kitchen gadgets and serve ware, as well as extra blankets and towels.
Host was so very kind and promptly responded whenever we reached out.
We most definitely recommend!

Great option for a few days. The apartment is an easy walk to the water, the Sea Life Center, the brewery, and downtown restaurants. Internet speed is great for making travel/excursion arrangements and entertainment. Everything was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the museum located in the library and were able to also see the movie about the 1964 earthquake--shown once a day for a separate fee. Highly recommend the movie.

This was a perfect place for our short stay.
Right in the middle of downtown, this small apartment gave us a place to drop our bags and explore the town.
It is perfect for two people and a bit tight for four (especially with two teenage boys at the end of a long trip!), but this was no surprise given the description of the property on the platform.
The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for a quick meal and coffee.
We met the host on the way in who was gracious with his time and the information he shared about the area. The host was communicative and kind from start to finish.
We would gladly stay here again when back in downtown Seward.

This small but lovely and we’ll-stocked apartment was perfect for our 3 night stay. The manager, Shelly, did a great job of communicating and even sent a long list of things to do and good places to eat. We especially liked that it was walking distance to many attractions and only 2 blocks from a free shuttle stop to take us to many others.

This beautiful little nook in the heart of Seward was the perfect, clean, and stylish respite we needed at the end of our grand Alaskan adventure! Everything you'd need in a VRBO and the check in/out process was easy peasy.

My husband and I enjoyed our short stay. Unit is small but comfortable with a very cute decor. Location is great- within easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We took a 6 hr scenic boat ride (highly recommend) and the harbor is about a mile away. We would definitely recommend renting this property.

I asked for an early check-in and was told that I could check in at 1pm instead of 3. I showed up at 2pm and the cleaning lady was just getting started. I came back at 3:30pm to officially check in and the cleaning lady barged right in to "complete" the cleaning.

We had a wonderful time spending the night in Seward at this lovely little property. The building's exterior was rustic, and the inside was decorated so beautifully by Shelly. It is perfect for 2 people. It is centrally located so it was very easy to walk to the various restaurants in town. Shelly also gave us great breakfast/lunch/dinner recommendations. If we ever come back to Alaska, will we be honored to stay here once more.

The owner was especially responsive and helpful and the place is set-up with charm. It offers a great way to explore Seward knowing there's a clean, comfy space to retreat to for the night - perfect for a couple.

My partner and I stayed in this very cute little home in downtown Seward for one night this past summer. We didn't request the wifi code, but connected to the netflix account in the home in the evening. Easy walking distance from all the shops and restaurants downtown, we also walked to where the boats are very easily from this spot. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen/bathroom were just fine!
The only negative was that we weren't crazy about the diffuser smell that was used. With the rain we got during our trip, it made the place seem musty. And we didn't know where extra toilet paper was. A note, the facade was deceiving - we drove right past originally.. Parking was super easy.

Great small apartment! Very clean and walking distance to everything. We would recommend this place others.

We enjoyed our stay in Seward. The apartment was small but very clean. The building appears more industrial than we had expected. The owners are hard at work in restoring the building and I am sure they will be successful, if this apartment is any indication. The location was perfect for easy access to several restaurants and shopping.
It was a quiet place but needed wifi.

Cute, gets the job done but no outdoor patio witha view.
