About this house rental
Welcome to Portland House, a spacious five-bedroom Victorian-style villa nestled in the charming seaside town of Exmouth. This detached, recently renovated retreat is perfect for large family get-togethers, accommodating up to 10 guests and conveniently situated near Devon's coastal treasures.
The lovely sandy stretch of beach is just a few streets away. Dotted with amusement arcades, children’s playgrounds, and an array of beachside delights including pubs, restaurants, bars, and ice cream stalls
Beautifully decorated throughout, the high ceilings provide a light and airy space showcasing traditional Victorian decor. The heart of the home lies in the large kitchen/dining space, where you can create family memories around the dining table. For summer evenings, cook up a storm outside in the BBQ kitchen, nestled in a private rear garden under a beautiful red acer tree.
With two good-sized family rooms and a games room, there's space for all. The second family room includes a pool table, sofa seating, and a smart TV, while the family rooms offer a cosy retreat with additional TV.
Head upstairs to discover five elegantly appointed bedrooms, including a lavish master suite with a Super king bed and a luxurious en suite shower room. Two airy double bedrooms, one with its own ensuite shower, a charming additional small double, and a further bunk bedroom designed for young adventurers! To complete the accommodation, there's a family bathroom with a separate bath, shower, WC, and basin, along with a convenient ground floor WC.
Exmouth can be found at the very beginning of the Jurassic Coastline. It is one of the most picturesque holiday resorts on the south coast and is a great place to spend a day relaxing and strolling along its seafront promenade, which is as popular today as it was in the Victorian era.
If you want to venture a bit further afield and sample the famous Devon Riviera towns of Torquay and Paignton, they are just around the headland, accessible via a short trip by car, or by train if you prefer to leave your car behind.
Please be aware this home can accomodate up to 12 guests, with a maximum of 8 adults. The bunk bedroom is only suitable for children under the age of 12. A small pull out double futon bed can be made up for small children in the double bedroom on request.
