It’s such a beautiful place. For a reasonable price. Good amenities, lovely garden. Because of the beauty, room layout, and price. This has become our regular koh samui destination

We had a great stay at the Bhundhari Koh Samui. We were able to check in early and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant resort had great food and was very affordable, we were both pleasantly surprised.

I reached out to the resort twice 30 hrs prior to our arrival to plan something special for my daughters birthday and had no response. Got on location to have them tell me had I contacted them before we arrived they would have done something, I said I tried through the Expedia messaging and through their website directly and was told they don’t check emails! Very few amenities at the resort without having to take a taxi somewhere else. No towels for the pool. Coffee shop at the hotel is closed down. Upper pool was scummy and not clean. Lower pool bar and restaurant don’t open until late. The entire resort needs upkeep. Other then the man that runs the lower pool that was amazing and the ladies at the spa are wonderful......the resort was extremely disappointing for what we paid to be here.

Nice quiet place to stay. Easy to get local taxis to go elsewhere

Swimming Pool green and stagnant with pumps switched off, Beach looked like a landfill site, Beach bar closed for renovation, builder's rubble everywhere. Pool bar vacant with no staff to be seen. All photos look like they are old. Place is in disrepair compared to photos on hotels.com. Beware!

This is only a three star hotel at best, the photos of this hotel must have been taken about ten years ago and is in need of serious updating and repairs. The deluxe room we stay in, had no hot water for five days and when they finally done something about it, we only had Luke warm at best. All the lampshades within the room were dirty with years worth of dust and grime. This added to the fact the room was dark even with all the lights on. There were dirty stains within the granite type floors in the bathroom leading in from the external shower and to the sink.
Around the pools, the sunbed cushions were frayed and stained, the Jacuzzi was broken with the control button which lifted away in your hands. On the first day we charged a large deposit for pool towels. Which was fine but for the fact that one of the towels that they gave us had paint stains on it.
The resort is built on a very steep hill which you need to be fit to walk up and down the 1 in 3 concrete road as the stair were dangerous to walk on with many a trip hazard and poorly lit.
There are a couple of good things about this resort. Mainly the friendly staff in the restaurant and pool bar, who try their best to serve you even though my Thai is non-existent and their English was not perfect.

The room is nice but they remake the bed without changing the sheet so the bed is not really "clean." Our room is on the hill and quite bit a walk to the reception and the beach. Hotel it's self is on the edge of Chaweng and the roads are not really friendly to pedestrian. would suggest to choose a place closer to the center.

Having stayed in 4 hotels in Thailand in total this one was one of the most expensive and one of the most dissapointing. I can't help but feel the hotel in general is a little dated and unimpressive. The service was provided with good intentions but never actually followed through - for example one evening we phoned reception for an iron, this took 40 mins to get to our room and by this point we were late for our restaurant reservation. We were unhappy with the quality of room we received and went to reception to ask if anything else was available, the staff seemed to struggle with English when you're making a complaint. The saftey deposit box didn't work. The towels had holes in them and the communal areas don't have air-con (reception and restaurant) - so eating breakfast in the heat wasn't enjoyable. The furniture in the communal areas were tatty and dated around the bar and restaurant. The beach that the hotel is located on is however beautiful but there weren't many sun beds provided here (maybe 6) - wasn't an issue for us at the time but I imagine it's a fight to get one in peak season. The location of the hotel is good with it being in a quieter area a few minutes drive from the main shopping and restaurants. There are other, nicer hotels in very close proximity of this one which may be a little more expensive but would be worth the money, I'm afraid this one isn't.

Had a great time hired small scooters(at Hotel cheap) to get around the island found some really nice beachs

This is o lovely place to stay but unfortunately it appears that their occupancy is mainly Asian - Chinese. They are rude to hotel staff, the children ran riot, they had no consideration for other guests when using the pool, dining room, etc.
On a better note -
Our room had an amazing view of the beach and the pool. The house keeping was great with a beautiful decoration on our bed each day. Staff treated us very well, were friendly and helpful. I feel this was due to us actually smiling and thanking them instead of treating them like the hired help.
The facility is getting tired and due a revamp.
There is no information in the rooms to explain services, places of interest, giving a few Thai words / phrases to assist in communication, etc.
I wouldn't recommend the hotel for Europeans as I felt uncomfortable due to the behaviour of the other guests.

We stayed at this hotel because we were attending a wedding at the Nora Buri Resort, which is a short stroll next door and it is comparatively a lot cheaper. It comes with complimentary buffet style breakfast, but the food wasn't very impressing. However, it's good to kick start you for the day as you cannot walk to the town where all the restaurants and shops are, and they may not open as early as you need them to be. While some of us had nicer rooms, we were particularly disappointed with the design of our bathroom. There was no curtain or glass in the shower preventing the water from splashing everywhere. After our first shower, the entire floor was wet including the toilet area. We ended up taking our showers in the bathtub which was very inconvenient but it was our only way to keep the floor dry. It seems not all the rooms have this design. The other problem we encountered was a lack of hooks for your toiletries and towels. They do provide a rack for you in the room but it would be good if they have hooks inside the bathroom. They also ran out of slippers in the entire resort when we checked in which was an inconvenience to us. Overall, the hotel is not bad for the price we paid. The staff were friendly and helpful. We used the buggy service a lot to get to and from our rooms as it is very hilly, and they were always very quick to come. I checked out very early in the morning and they packed me a breakfast box to take to the airport.

Tranquil environment with hard working friendly staff. We celebrated my birthday here. During our breakfast, we were surprised by the manager and staff with a cake made by the kitchen chef. It was delicious. In the same day an employee, "Boy" was his nickname, surprised us on his day off with another yummy cake. In the evening another employee, Nitisak, presented us with a beautiful Coconut Soap. To top it off our bed was covered in rose petals and a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Nai, another employee. She surprised us with the beautiful flowers on our bed and unique towel designs everyday. We felt special and like we were family there. We will soon return to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.

We arrived & the hotel looked amazing. We were given an upgrade to a villa. Unfortunately this upgrade didn't include a sea view so we asked to got moved & we did. I love the beach and unfortunately there isn't any sunbeds on the beach and next to hotel is private land which is covered in rubbish & it doesn't connect to the main chaweng beach. We loved the location, a 5-10 min drive from Chaweng beach road. The hotel was doing refurbishments to the biggest pool but there are 4 others. I would say the hotel needs a refresh in terms of sunbeds, furniture, pool table. Most of the staff were friendly and very helpful only sometimes the language barrier seemed difficult. We paid for breakfast in advance and most of the food if we got down late was barely warm unless you had a fresh egg/omelette. We would stay here again for sure regardless of my comments, many thanks for our stay!
