The hotel is great and obviously in a great location. I was incredibly disappointed with the room’s furnishings. One of the windows was duct taped closed (people don’t pay hotel rates like this to have their window duct taped!). The furniture in the room was very dated and the desk was broken. Overall all, the hotel was pretty good, just not great. There are a lot of other hotels to review and I believe the direct question to ask is, would I stay here again…? The answer is no

Great location and you get the real NYC buzz! Room needed some TLC and housekeeping didn’t come for two mornings out of four, despite asking. There is no roof terrace as advertised and no room service. Small shop downstairs in lobby. Bit disappointing as pics definitely do not reflect our experience.

Waited past 4 PM for our superior room-high floor. No fridge in the room. The room was way too warm the entire time for me and my entire family. We even shut off the heating unit. AC does not work during winter months so no solution. No fan in the room. I ended up opening the window as much as you can to allow air in. Did not provide much relief. Very comfortable, normally prefer high floors but would not suggest in this case.

If you are looking for accommodation only right on Times Square then this is a fantastic option.
Hotel rooms are ageing and could do with some attention. No tea making facilities in the room, turns out this might be something were used to in the UK!
The bar advertised with the hotel was closed when we were there.
This is on the doorstep to one of the most amazing cities in the world... Enjoy!

The location of the property is pretty good. You are literally steps away from times square, and a lot of the other. The points in new york city within walking distance.
This hotel seems to be older. The rooms are very dated, so don't expect high end finishes while you're there. Beds are comfy though.
The 4pm check in time is a major cluster, with tons of people clogging the lobby.
The staff and service at the hotel are fantastic. They're very informative and helpful.

The location was excellent, right in the heart of time square. They staff were lovely but the rooms we tired and dated and a bit grubby. It is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Furniture scratched, broken or damaged, curtains hanging off, cupboard for fridge but no fridge inside. Could have got a better quality hotel in the same area for similar price. Would not recommend or stay again unless they had a revamp. If rooms were updated I would stay again for the great staff and location.

Are room was old but the beds are good. Dated and worn furniture. I was fine with it if it keeps the price down. I would recommend it. Great location and view. Thank

Terrible experience! When we arrived our room was 79 degrees. When I called the front desk, they informed me that a/c is not available this time of year and to crack the emergency windows open if it was unbearable. I requested a fan and they did not have any available. I mentioned that the website was misleading and the clerk told me, that “you can believe what you see on the website”. Room was filthy and old. Just to name a few, toilet leaked, tv worked at times, plumbing fixtures were old and disgusting, no fridge, coffee, or microwave available on the entire property including the lobby. I clearly stated on the agreement, we had a total of 3 ppl in our room, however, we had to ask for towels and rags every day. (Poor quality towels) Honestly, I’m now questioning on whether or not to book with Hotels.com in the future as this was a very bad experience and it appears that no one cared, just had to deal with it.

Not as great as i expected. The room was fairly small. And for the price i at least thought they would have coffee in the lobby. But the location was awesome!

No ac control in the room. Breakfast consists of a bag and coffee! Good location and that’s about it

Nice location and room location with nice view. Ventilation system was flawed. Room was way too warm.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Place is clean. It could use some repairs or renovations, at least in the room I stayed in. It’s a very busy hotel so wear and tear are to be expected. Very close to many tourist attractions.

The location was good but no in-room coffee or even in the hotel.

The property is old. The heating and cooling is outdated. My room was wired to constantly kick out cool air. Maintenance was called. They are busy with an enormous amount of outdated rooms. They couldn’t get to me until late at night. They had to re-wire the temperature in a wall unit. It stopped but then the heat came on continuously. I had to call them again. It took several calls. They told me to open a window. They finally came and basically pulled the plug. Later that night I couldn’t shut my window. I had a male housekeeper try. He couldn’t get it to shut, but then wouldn’t leave until I paid him for trying. Maintenance had to come to force it shut. Coffee: You have to ask for it. You have to ask for refill coffee cartridges. Not updated for tech. The staff is very nice, but they are overwhelmed.

We paid for an upgrade to a suite, but had construction right above us wake us up at 9am in the morning. The room we checked into was filthy and we had to be moved to a different one. Peeling wallpaper, dusty shelves. Not good! The front desk staff however, were very accommodating and great! They are the only thing saving this rating.

Great location. A little on the old side, even after refurbishing, but certainly a good choice unless you are in search of luxury. Price is very competitive. Room was very nice, as was maid service. Check in and out were expedicious. Concierge service was a little spotty, but I certainly recommend a stay there. In NYC you have to consider the competetion, and the Millenium is a winner.

We ordered two ball drop rooms, only one was a ball drop room. We complained and asked for a refund twice and were fobbed off. Discusting charging for a room and not providing a refund when they can’t provide it

This was a last minute stay. I had to find a hotel quickly to remove myself from the horrible Gallivant Hotel on West 48th St that stole items from my room.
I was a little surprised because it was basic.
I thought the Millennium Hotel B’way was a little more upscale. It was very clean (a plus) comfortable and convenient. It served its purpose and I would stay again.
The staff was kind and helpful.
