This is my home-away- from home place. Been staying here for years. WC has a warm cozy feeling. Small, yet extremely convenient … steps away from the beach and restaurants. Lovely place’

Cozy hotel, smaller than we thought it would be honestly but the service was exceptional, especially from Ricardo. After we did check out we had a whole extra day to keep exploring the city before our flight but we didn’t have a place to leave our suitcase, so we shared our situation with the front desk and Ricardo assured us we could leave our suitcase with them, that he would look over it until we come back at night to pick it up. He also offered us a bathroom if we needed to change and take a shower before leaving and didn’t accept any money in exchange for that. Great customer service!

This is my second stay at the hotel. I enjoyed my room and stay overall. I will say though, my friend stayed in the other side of the hotel and it needs a bit of an upgrade. It’s very old and not well kept. There was a lot of condensation and humidity and mosquitos on top of that. I suggest that should be corrected because then the mosquitos can eventually become a risk factor for the staff and guests alike.

It was ok. Location wise was amazing. Very close to the beach. Some humidity smell in the room. Hot water!! :) Noise of ppl cleaning and walking by 5am. Loud noise of vehicles unfortunately. Bar was not operating in the weekend. :( . The staff is amazing.

I stayed for 3 days and nights the room was never cleaned. There was mold in the bathroom and the TV never worked smh. The WiFi didn’t work either it was the worse experience.

The hotel management changed my reservation to stay at nearby sister hotel Acacia Boutique Hotel, a little closer to the beach with a hot water pool. Although it didn't have as many positive reviews as At Wind Chimes, it was a good stay. I want to make it clear this review is about Acacia Boutique Hotel and not At Wind Chimes Boutique hotel because of the change.

the outside grounds are beautiful. however the room was way in the back like maybe for the workers stay. room was very very small. furniture was very very old. A table from ikea would be reasonable to put in a room instead of the very old table/dresser. i had to leave room at 8am due to a very big cockroach in room.

The only thing I'd comment about is the condition of the building but that's for many of the buildings in San Juan. They need to be repainted or fixed up because it looks like these buildings are rotting. It's the infrastructure in puerto rico. It looks like they haven't been touched in decades. Other than that, everything was pretty good.

Everything was great! I would love the property to have the bar in the back functional but unfortunately it wasn't like that. The rooms were spacious and the staff helpful and friendly.

Where do i start. Dirty and had bugs. Hard to get a hold of anyone for anything even toliet paper. The dishes offered in the apartment side were dirty and old. Refrigerator outside the door. Towels were black spot on them. Lucky for their pool towls were there. Workers were rude. None of the 3 TVs work. I guess you get what you pay for basically.

The staff was extremely helpful. I lost my NYS Real ID and the front desk staff was more than accommodating with providing information. Each individual I encountered at the front desk was very friendly, greeted you with a smile, and never hesitated to provide help when needed. The place is very clean and the ambiance makes you feel like home. The pool was great and the beach is within walking distance. Very close to restaurants, shops, and transportation. Complimentary coffee is served every morning and each guest also has access to the amenities/dining room at Acacia Hotel across the street. Also, not too far from the Ashord Avenue strip, Bebos on Calle Loiza, and it's a 15-20 minute walk to La Placita in Santurce. This boutique hotel is perfect for those who like a relaxing atmosphere and peaceful quiet.

It was so romantic. I proposed to my wife there. It was a beautiful place. Pool was available pretty late. Customer service was excellent. Not too far of a walk from downtown old San Juan.

The service was great. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is easy access to the beach, restaurants and bars. The pool fits about 9 people but it is gorgeous and well kept. For me the hotel is 5 stars.

The location was about the only thing good about this hotel. They have no room service so if you get sand on your floor or want new sheets you will be making the bed yourself. Also you will have the ask for towels. No microwaves so dont bother with leftovers. Also I hope you dont like hot showers because the water temp is so bad you will be lucky to have lukewarm. Also dont plan on sleeping in. The workers will be loud and power washing directly outside your door at the ripe time of 7-8am! Employees are nice just not at all helpful when it comes to enjoying your experience. We also had to walk on a sandy dirty floor the entire time. Stay somewhere else if you dont want to be your own cleaner for a week.

This was our second time staying here because we love it so much. The location is perfect and walking distance to the beach, great restaurants and shops. Also the pool is great to come back to from a long day on the beach. The staff are so great and Ricardo is the best and always makes us feel so welcome. I also highly recommend Niche the restaurant inside the sister hotel down the street, the Acacia. The food was amazing!

The hot water was not working so cold showers the entire trip. The bed was hard and not comfortable at all. Everything was old. Stains in the towels, sheets old, loud generator noise kept me from sleeping. The location was nice, steps to the beach, walking distance to nice restaurants and a market for small groceries. If I was there more than 2 nights I would have moved. Would stay in the area again but not that hotel.
