This was a great stay for us. We enjoyed great stay and really sound sleep. We enjoyed a hug thanksgiving dinner at the restaurant - delicious so well done chef!
The only other thing I would have liked would be eco friendliness - instead of small bottled water for guests made available, it would be great to have drinking fountains to refill our bottles. The hot tub wasn't working which was a shame. It would be great to have hot water / tea sachets available in our room.

Gorgeous property nearing the end of our New Mexico trip. Property was gorgeous - wish we had more time.

I booked 2 rooms of the same value and upon check in was given one room that had 2 bedrooms meaning we did not need the 2nd room. They would not refund the 2nd room charge. They said that I would have to take it up with hotels.com which is fair since it was your listing and confirmation email that led me to believe we had 2 one bedroom suites.

The hotel has seen better days and needs more love and care than it gets. Rooms could use paint and care, main areas are worn, cobwebs were in quite a few areas hanging off of vigas. The hotel hot tub was broken and pool was not heated as advertised.
Front desk staff and valets were fantastic. Food and drinks were good. Service overall was excellent however restaurant staff could use some training. One day was great the next not so.
Easy location to walk to the Taos plaza, and free shuttle service a nice amenity.

We love staying here. The food is exceptional, and the grounds are always well kept. This is the first time one of the pillows was ripped and in a soiled pillowcase, which did not meet up to their normal standards..

This is a fantastic place to stay in Toas. As soon as you arrive you notice the unique decor. Our room had great sitting chair and the balcony had upgraded type outdoor chairs for sitting. Beautiful facility to walk around and enjoy their landscaping and water features. I had breakfast in the morning and it was fabulous.

We eloped in NM and stayed here for 2 nights. Beautiful room and space, however, lots of bugs in the room. I understand this is new mexico and it has bugs, however, other hotels in new mexico dont but this one had 4 large spiders, plus roaches, plus flies. We found a spider in our bed. Otherwise great property!

Love this place, but time to update a few things.

Mold smelling carpeting, noisy room, property poorly upkept. Amenities closed because of a wedding. Overall incompetent staff. Broken Carbon monoxide monitor in a room with a gas fireplace.
Wont waste my time discussing any further.

The hotel, marketed as a luxury destination, was aesthetically unkempt and in urgent need of cosmetic renovations and repairs. The interiors were dirty, with patched walls and a noticeable mold smell. The staff seemed stressed and unhappy. Additionally, amenities such as the bar and restaurant were unavailable due to a wedding reception.

Property is beautiful, peaceful and convenient to everything in Taos. Staff extemely friendly and helpful. Food at the resort was delicious. Free transportation to and from locations within three mile radius of property was a real plus, and the drivers were very nice and reponsive (we especially enjoyed conversation with Paxton).

The indoor pool/hot tub area is a gorgeous green house. There are multiple fruit trees on the property. It’s a wonderfully idyllic property!

Food at the restaurant was horrible. Our burger was overcooked, French fries were burned, and ribs were tough and poorly seasoned. Everything else was lovely.

Extremely Overpriced including all businesses around. The place looks average to me. The whole city is under construction. A huge shortage of restaurants and places to eat.

Beautiful property. Been here many times when in Taos. Staff were great. There could be closer detail to room cleaning as one can find trash on the balcony and hallways filled with room service trays outside doors that never seem to be picked up. Definitely use the pool as it is very nice.

Absolutely gorgeous property. We loved the pool area, but the water could be warmer. When we walked into our room we were immediately impressed by the furnishings. We didn't eat at the resort, but we were only there one night. My wife and I were on a cross country road trip, and Taos was a convention stop. I'm glad that I picked El Monte Sagrado for one of our overnights. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but everyone we spoke to was friendly and helpful. The gentleman out front greeted us when we drove up, and helped begin the check-in process for us. He was very polite and friendly. Sorry that I can't remember his name. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
