Welcome to Giffin Log Cabin!
This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is tucked over a hill along the rocky western shore. Enjoy sunsets from the expansive deck complete with a screened-in porch. Outside you can find a well-maintained path to the rocky shore where you can look out past Mark Island Monument and into Mackerel Cove. The large yard gives you plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. This home is within walking distance to a cute little beach with a large wonderful gift shop and the end of the island called "Lands End". Bailey Island is roughly 2.5 miles long offering beaches, walking paths, a general store, a post office, and 3 restaurants.
This log cabin is well maintained. As you enter you walk into the kitchen which is well equipped for cooking. There is a small breakfast table in the kitchen as well. Through one door of the kitchen is a dining room, with a piano and views out to the deck. If you go through the kitchen in the other direction you will find the first floor bathroom with a shower/tub and the first floor bedroom with a queen bed. From both the dining room and hallway near the bedroom you can enter the living room which has plenty of seating for all to enjoy. You can walk out to the screened-in porch from the living room. The porch has cozy wicker furniture with cushions and a picnic table for enjoying the outdoor space with views of the water. Attached to the porch is a lovely deck with a gas grill to use at your leisure.
Upstairs you will find two bedrooms. One bedroom (left at top of stairs) has a queen size bed and the other bedroom (right at top of stairs) has a queen and a twin trundle. There is a bathroom in between the bedrooms with a door to each room. The bathroom has a stand-up shower only. Enjoy water views from both upstairs bedrooms. The upstairs bedrooms are bright and cheery.
The basement has a washer and dryer for your use.
