We booked the 6 person apartment which was fantastic, excellent location for skiing, clean, lots of utensils and crockery, a little welcome pack with cleaning stuff was great and very helpful. Everything we could need. No cooker but we were able to cook on the hob/microwave. Dishwasher a real plus too. Could not fault it

Easy to get to with a taxi or coach, check in was very slow but the staff were very pleasant.
We had an apartment that could sleep 4/5 and we were a party of three and it was a little cramped. Any more would have been very cramped.
It was nice and clean though and well kept. Only had a hob no oven which was a bit limited for cooking and the shower/bath was small but again well kept.

La Plagne has great skiing options when the full resort is available. Unfortunately only 40% of runs were open. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. It should be noted that the units are very small and I would not advise booking for maximum occupancy.

As far as budget ski hotels go this one was great as well as being one of the cheapest we could find. The rooms where small for 3 adults sharing but we got by. The views from the rooms are amazing! Limited restaurant choice but great food! Very secure underground parking (this was a massive plus). Would defiantly stay here again.

Perfect for ski in/out location in Belle Plagne. Be aware though that Les Constellations relates to several different blocks belonging to P&V we were placed in Themis which was at the top of the village. Great for skiing down from several blue runs.
Room was dated not quite like the pictures we were expecting. Average cleanliness had to clean it myself on arrival so it felt more comfortable. Only met staff twice on check in/out who were very pleasant and helpful.

In terms of location Les Constellations is fantastic. There is underground parking under the apartments (shared with a number of other residences) so you do not need to drag your luggage outdoors.
It is true ski in - ski out, with a short run down to the nearest lift.
There is a small supermarket almost opposite the front door for essentials.
It is a short walk down paths and stairs to the village centre.
Belle Plagne is a nice small centre with a reasonable selection of eateries and bars.
Given my experience of other resorts this one did not feel extortionate, with pizzas and pasta dishes widely available in the 10 - 12€ category.
With regard to the apartment, we booked a 4 person studio, but were upgraded to a 6/7 person apartment, which was nice.
It comprised of 2 bunk beds in the entrance hall, 2 sofa beds in the lounge and a double bedroom upstairs. There was a toilet and shower room downstairs and a toilet and bathroom upstairs.
As there was only 2 of us we had plenty of room, however, if there were 6 adults I think it would be cramped, hence the lower rating for comfort.
The bunk beds were quite short and a tall adult may struggle.
The small kitchenette had an electric hob, combination microwave oven, dishwasher and fridge. All very clean.

Pierre & Vacance Residence Andromede was the final destination of my stay (also the main reception area). P&V own 4 or 5 hotels in Belle Plagne, all situated in the same location, but upon arrival you can end up being situated in any of these.
I booked a P&V stay because I've used them before, I wasn't surpprised with what I got. The rooms are pretty much identical in design/layout across France. They have all the amenities you need, kitchen, dishwasher, cooker, TV and such. which is all you need.
What is most important is the view outside the window in the winter months.
This hotel offers Ski in/Ski out and is located at the top of the resort in Belle Plagne. A boot room is available, although I never used it. A SKI SET rental shop is next door, along with a supermarket opposite. Important with a self cantering apartment.
I found the resort of Belle Plagne fantastic! The amount of ski area is imense, I was with my 4y old daughter, so didn't get to use it to full capacity. 75% of runs in my opinion were Blue, although occasionaly became a Red, in steep sections.
The resort offers so much variety of things to do:
Ski by torch light at night.
Skiidoo's
An Olympic Bobsled Run
An Ice Grotto, carved out of the Glacier
Outdoor Swimming Pool, and lots more.....
There is a free bus shuttle between other Plagne resorts. Belle Plagne also has a 'Bubble' which runs till 1am, up & down to Plagne Bellecote, the resort below.
An awesome resort, that I will return to!
