The cottage on the whole is lovely.. there’s so much wildlife & it’s very quiet & peaceful.. but uncomfortable, the chesterfield sofa & chair are old & torn.. and the other sofa is a spare bed which is ok but not the best to sit on.
The main bed is uncomfortable & the bedding could be replaced.
The owners were lovely & did contact to check our stay was going well, which it was otherwise.
It’s a lovely location & we did enjoy our stay. I would still recommend.

We had a great family stay at Hazelhurst Farm. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and fully equipped with everything we needed. The hosts (Hayley and Carl) were also super nice and helpful. We'll definitely come back

We had the most amazing time at Hazelhurst farm, the accommodation was amazing. It was clean, the beds were comfy and the added extras just made our stay extra special. Hayley was lovely and really went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Thank you again, we will be back!

Cute and stylish cottage (we were in the Milking Parlour), easy to find and good location. Cosy for a few days for a couple but the outside space a bit disappointing.
Inside the cottage is pretty much exactly as per the photos. It's stylish and cleverly designed for multi-functional self-catering. Even has a dishwasher! Some tea, coffee beans, sugar, milk and olive oil kindly provided. The smart home features for air-con, heating, radio etc take getting used to but are effective. Could do with a few blankets to avoid putting heating on of an evening.
Very comfortable bed, small wardrobe and hairdryer/iron provided. Compact but powerful shower, small but good quality towels and gorgeous local toiletries. It is extremely quiet here - I am a very light sleeper and did not have any issues at all.
There isn't much privacy from the front - with all the windows looking over the courtyard with fairly regular comings and goings. We kept the blinds down which meant it was quite dark inside during the day.
The main reason we booked this cottage was the outside space which looked inviting and cosy. Unfortunately, it was nothing like the photos. Half the furniture shown wasn't there, no scatter cushions, and the seat cushions were stained and had mould on. The deck hadn't been swept of fallen leaves or rotting fruit from the trees. It just wasn't somewhere we could relax with a book or have an evening drink together, so we stayed inside. Pity.

A nice couple of nights, a few issues that we did have were sorted promptly, was disappointed that the cottage didn’t have Air Con as advertised on Expedia.

Excellent short stay at Hazlehurst Farm. We stayed in the Cowmans Cottage with our young daughter (we bough our own cot as this was not available - and clearly noted as so - but were pleasntly surprised to find a high chair was in the cupboard!). We were only there for 2 nights but would stay again. The only real gripe we had was that the water pressure for the shower was fairly low, and the lack of blackout blinds in the bedroom meant it was very bright early in the morning. There were also some very loose paving slabs on the pathway that we nearly tripped on, but in fairness we did not get an opportunity to feed this back to the owners until now.

Property interior furnishing were in keeping with the age and a lot of thought had gone into the theme etc. Disappointingly however, sofa's, bed etc. really uncomfortable.
Kitchen didn't have basics e.g. tea pot, chopping board, grill wire etc. Blinds in bedroom & landing had been left open & wouldn't close (lucky hubbie handy) Generally in need of some maintenance & love back into the place, cobweb & spider removal!
Area was quiet and nice to see local nature.

We stayed for a couple of nights, perfect location to explore and enjoy the New Forest. We had a great stay with our two young sons. We stayed in Orchard Cottage, perfect layout for families and we all loved the large garden.
The hosts were great with all request's and on hand if needed.
The most amazing Flapjacks and Cream Tea. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Dormouse is a delightful place to stay. It’s warm, cosy and beautiful decorated. We loved the peacefulness and it’s so easy to get to the sea. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay in Shepherd's Crook. The hosts were so accomodating, and the little extra touches were really appreciated. They leant us a highchair and left flapjacks for us to enjoy. We would definitely stay again, and recommend to all our friends.

The cottage is beautiful. The owner has been great, texted me on the day and provided all necessary information for check-in. Information about the local areas, restaurant recommendation were available as well. All in all, a beautiful cottage which I am sure I will visit again in the future.

The property was a perfect get away. Quiet and surrounded by beautiful walks and countryside.
The garden and fire pit were a perfect addition, even in October we were able to sit out of an evening without getting too cold and even dined out with a home cooked meal.
The information pack had good advice and we loved the butcher in Sway who we visited before leaving.

We stayed in the milking parlour and we absolutely loved it! It’s so beautiful and the decor is lovely! We loved the smart system with the surround speakers in the lounge/kitchen area, we played some chill autumnal music and it really was so lovely and cosy! The shower is also amazing too! We stayed here with our 3 month old daughter, and we loved walking around the farm and seeing the horses! - we can’t wait to come back when she’s older!

Hazelhurst Farm is really nicely decorated and is in a great location with lots of towns in driving distance. The owners provide lots of information before you stay on what you can do nearby, and they also left some really lovely touches in the cottage such as flapjacks from a nearby bakery. We stayed in The Milking Parlour and enjoyed the use of the fire pit a lot and also appreciated their approach to minimal waste such as using refillable bottles for shower gel/soap etc. The cottage was slightly smaller than we expected from the pictures but that didn't impact us since there was only 2 of us staying for 2 nights. Unfortunately we did really struggle with sleeping despite the quiet location, because the bedding - in particular the pillows - were not comfortable which was surprising when the farm was only done up in 2018. We would stay here again if the bedding was different.

Beautifully decorated, clean and really homely.
We stayed with our 3YO daughter, and she loved it.
The Piggery was so comfortable, we would love to come back again with more of our family and take a few more rooms next time for a family long weekend. Highly recommend.

We stayed in The Piggery, which was very cosy and well-decorated. It was very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed, in a lovely quiet setting. Recommended, and we will be back for a longer stay when we can.
