There are plenty of indoor spaces to gather, relax and unwind against the backdrop of stunning river views, while the outdoors offers guests plenty terraces where they can enjoy getting together, swim in the heated covered pool, have a relaxed BBQ, enjoy sunset sundowners or simply read a book lounging around or finding solitude in a hammock, all while enjoying breath-taking sunsets over the ever-changing Hamble River, soaking up the tranquility of the waterside living and lush countryside.
The property’s private jetty and river land (property side of the towpath and within property boundaries) give private and direct access to River Hamble. The river is tidal and at some points during the day the riverbed runs dry, so it’s a good idea to check tide times if you want to launch your paddle board or kayak, and as with all waterside living, always be aware of the changing river conditions and currents. Never leave children unattended.
With so much green countryside directly on your doorstep, you might even be lucky enough to sport some wild deer that occasionally wonder through the garden from the surrounding woodlands and Holly Hill Woodland Park nearby, very early in the mornings. The local area is a paradise for walkers and birdwatchers too.
There are loads to do and explore in the local villages and riverside marinas – all within comfortable walking distance – there are endless waterside activities to enjoy, or just relax in this truly stunning setting.
