The staff was very attentive and catered to our needs immediately. The room we booked was great for a family of 6. The location was very central in Whistler Village.

Our room was facing street and very noisy at night. We could barely sleep!

Location
That you have to use the card to go in and out from the main entrance. Musty smelling room , loud a/c and dirty towels used for cleaning was left in the bathroom.

the fact that there was construction going on under our room, but this was not Blackcomb Lodges fault

Overall, it was okay. The location is excellent and the facilities were relatively good. However, I think the price-quality ratio is bad, it's too expensive for what it is. Everything is very old.
The most horrible problem we had was that my 3-year-old son found 2 used condoms between the bed sheets, which we found appalling. When we notified the reception, they only said: "OMG so sorry!."
However, if you want them to take care of your luggage for 2 hours, it's $50. If you want to check in 1 hour early, it's $100.
In conclusion, I won't stay there again, and I recommend that you take precautions regarding cleanliness and prices.
the location.

owner verbally abused me and my family with a 3 year old when I wanted to bring another family into my room, inaccessible unadvertised restrictions on stay. worst stay in whistler ever over 20 years

The only positive about this property is the location.
The condition of the property is terrible. Our faucet was basically falling off when we arrived. The side molding in the washroom was torn off with no replacement. The appliances in the kitchenette were so gross I wouldn’t use them. The lighting is horrible. There was no
light above the desk. The TV is on the side of the room and there were multiple light bulbs out when we arrived.
The manager barged into our room WHILE KNOCKING with us in it to deliver a new “Bible”. I said no Thank you. He said “It’s our hotel - but fine”. To enter a room WHILE KNOCKING is not acceptable and scary.

staff were rude and un helpful. tonnes of rules which took the relaxing part out of our vacation. room was never cleaned

Location was central and front desk staff were friendly. Room had a great aspect, overlooking the village. The bed was so comfortable and the block out curtains were good. Heating worked well for the -8 degrees at night.
Because we didn't book directly with the hotel we had to wait till 4pm for check in. As the bus got in around 11am this was a long time to wander the village. We were advised that If we had booked directly with the hotel then a room would have been ready immediately we arrived. Whilst I understand the manager's viewpoint it did take the edge off a little.

location is great as it is near the grocery store.
Very inconsiderate management! Lacking in empathy towards their guests. Despite the snow storm encountered on that week, they wouldn't negotiate with us to have it cancelled without fee nor would they settle to downgrade the room which forced us to travel despite being warned by the government to avoid non-essential travelling. We were also provided with rusted kitchen utensils! and defective coffee maker, my brother requested for a replacement, but still gave us another defective. I emailed the general manager regarding this and somehow be indemnify for the inconveniences we had experienced, even a discount will do. But, their reply was, they would not indemnify cause accdg to them those were only minor inconveniences, and that they were using s special dishwasher to sanitze the utensils?! I find them arrogant and no empathy towards our concerns. That will be the 1st and last time I will stay in that lodge and I will never recommend this to my family, friends and acquaintances!

The location was perfect. The room is perfect for a family.
The rooms are not well sound proofed, it’s easy to hear everything in the halls and in the rooms around our room. They only give you one room key and everything is locked.. I’m sure it’s because there are many who are not guests passing through but we found it very difficult as a family to get in and out and the front desk questioning our every move.. just odd.
The check out was earlier than I expected.. our experience has usually been 11am but it was 10am so we felt rushed with 3 little people in tow. we were hoping to grab breakfast in the village as there wasn’t breakfast onsite and then come back and bundle up for a full day out but we had to bundle up outside by our vehicle instead.

The hotel is right in the center of the village so it’s very convenient. The hot tub and pool area was very nice but the change rooms and showers were extremely dirty. The hot tub doesn’t open until 10am which is a little late.
The first night we stayed the hot water wasn’t working so I called the front desk and they told me I had to let it run for a while as it’s an old building. It eventually warmed up. The next morning I tried to have a hot shower but after 20 minutes the water was still ice cold. I called the manager and he insisted that it was fixed and that my water was hot but it wasn’t. it was barely warm. I asked for my money back for the rooms but the manager screamed at me and told me people like me don’t appreciate things and I will not get my money back. He continued to scream at me over the phone before hanging up on me. Needless to say, I will not be returning to that hotel ever again.

The size of the room was large and the property was easy to find with plenty of parking
The room had a smell of cigarettes about it and despite being in a great location, this meant the property was very loud with people coming back from an evening of drinking.
