Property overcharged me $700 without authorization or explanation in addition to the $75 per night for incidentals. When staff helped they were unclear and wouldn’t really answer questions. The manager Jennifer I spoke to tried to be professional but responded to me with disrespect when I tried to get her to refund my money they had no right to take. I’m still waiting for the funds.
Also, the bed linens are trashy textiles. The windows are dirty. They’ve dressed up a Drury Inn apparently in order to fleece people. Don’t go to this hotel. Austin has other comparable hotels of higher quality.

Cute design, for the money it is good value
Unique style, location might be slightly too far from things but you can definitely still walk which we did. A bit disappointed that the quilt and pillow case had a few stains on it which didn’t make it a comfortable stay.

Valet- SUPER helpful
Bartender- Went above and beyond when an "unusual" cocktail was requested
Pool and Pool Staff- Super friendly, very helpful, love all the pool floats! LOVE the pool/lounge area
Housekeeping- VERY clean rooms
Overall- love the robes and the general VIBE of the hotel!
Front Desk- very helpful at check-in/check-out
Front Desk- Waited quite awhile at desk at 0200 to resolve an issue- never was able to talk to anyone that night
Housekeeping- Did not replenish water, coffee, cups. Threw my bamboo toothbrush away! I think she thought it was disposable ;-)
Front desk- needs to be a little more knowledgeable about restaurants/activities within walking distance
Rooms- Need more hooks in bathroom for towels; Need more furniture or luggage racks. No place to unpack clothes or even set an open suitcase! (There is one small cupboard with shelves and the metal rack.

Location
That I picked a view of capital building and we couldn’t see capital anywhere from our window
4.0 / 5.0
That staff were incredibly accommodating and so kind. Every single interaction was pleasant and left me feeling grateful.
The music in the lobby was very loud. Also, if you stay in a room above the pool the music is very loud as well. We actually moved rooms because of this. Hence the staff being super kind and accommodating statement above.

The staff was amazing and friendly the location for a concert at moody amphitheater is perfect !! Just a short walk
The first rooms AC did not work (rm 1630)- we were moved to a second room (1026)- which barely worked at 75 degrees. It was a rough hot night

I only stayed for one night so didn’t explore all that was on offer, but the hotel was beautiful and very clean. Bed was exceptional, the room had a stunning view and I had a fantastic night.
Can’t fault anything! 😌

Staff is very friendly!!! Clean hotel great location
I booked a two queen room like 2 months ago because I have two teenagers!! While when we arrived they said they only had a king bed and we could get a roll away bed well it was a twin and they could not fit so she had to sleep with us. We paid for the view of the capital which we did not get at all

The aesthetic of the hotel was awesome. My friend and I really enjoyed the café downstairs.
There was nothing glaringly wrong with the property.

Nice renovated hotel
Didn’t get the room i booked: kingsize turned to very small sueensize.
Highfloor was only 6th (goes up to 16 floors).
Pictures show a shower. Was an old bathtub.
Power outlets didn’t work or veeery low voltage.
Not available to communicatie online through email or booking app chat.
Noisy hallway

Great decor, ambience. Good location, great price. Pool was great.
The hallways were dirty. The concert hall next to the hotel kept me up one night. The lobby music is too loud for 6AM, the coffee was too expensive. Rooms should be quieter.

Lobby & music.
The coffee shop did not accept cash and for some reason my & my son's MasterCard did not work at the coffee shop but worked all over Austin was not a good experience.

The bar and restaurant was really nice. Nice esthetic. Also it was a decent distance from everything.
Wasn't too much I didn't like. Maybe that there wasn't a microwave but when I called they brought one to my room.

I emailed the hotel to let them know we would be checking in a day later . As I booked on booking.com of course I was happy to pay for the missed night. Sonya the lady that checked us in was so rude and told me because I was a no show the booking was cancelled. I showed her the email but she didn’t care. She told me the rate would now go up. She was rude and dismissive. This was the welcome we got after flying 17 hours from Australia. The following day booking.com called the hotel and the rate reverted back to the original. I am still waiting for a
Refund of the difference.
The hotel was very expensive midway through renovation.
I couldn’t read my book in bed as no light bulb in light
Only 1 cup in room so only 1 of us could make a coffee
Mould in the clothing steamer in bathroom which smelt so bad
Room was cleaned as we stayed a few nights but sheets not changed
I stay at Sheratons all over the world and was shocked also the pool was empty but not told or shown this when we booked.
Sonya the front desk clerk was angry and unhelpful.
Very disappointed and will avoid Sheraton from now on.
Staff Sonya very rude and unhelpful
No light bulb in bedside table so couldn’t read in bed
Only 1 cup loaded so only 1 of us could have a coffee
Renovations on going but not stated at booking

Hotel going through renovations.
No hair dryer or safe in room. No grab bar in shower/bath, only one hook for towel in bathroom.
2.0 / 5.0
same hotel as conference venue so at least it was practical.
reasonable walking distance to Austin's main attractions.
room standard very poor, old and un-renovated. Not enough lifts for when the hotel is full - easier to take the stairs - best floor is level 5 because that reduces how much you need to climb to get back to your room. Rooms weren't cleaned without prompting. Even basics like a kettle couldn't be provided. Very obvious staffing shortages and the staff that were there were clearly inexperienced.

It’s being renovated.
The rooms are very outdated and old.

I didn’t stay at this place too many hidden fees and then they didn’t Wouldn’t allow my to cancel room nor willing to make affordable accommodations for stay.
4.0 / 5.0
Room was comfortable, TV was big, ac cold, stayed dark with blinds in morning, comfy bed, no housing came knocking on door in morning. 🙂
Some middle aged short very red haired lady working night shift was very rude. She bud into me and the other front desk employee conversation while checking in denying my request for late check out, even though I am a bon voy member. Which was later accepted which I figured she was just being ugly for no reason.
Also $42 parking not included, plus $20 every y time you leave is rediculous.

Location
We were not notified that it was heavily under construction until we got there, many amenities unavailable or not working. Issue with lights, water, ice machines, etc.
3.0 / 5.0
The location was suitable for easy walking area. Car parking is on-site, although payment required. Rooms average hotel rooms for USA.
The hotel is currently under renovation- no swimming pool and building work noise in hotel rooms. I think this should have been hightlighted in Booking.com website and discount offered. I only booked room two days prior to my arrival, so no reason for not being notified!?!?! Aug 2023.

Hotel was very nice! the bed was super comfy and the room felt safe. The entire facility felt very clean and well kept. Staff was really accommodating as well.
The entire experience through booking.com sucked!! The hotel was also under construction while we were there, which we were not made aware of before hand so many areas were closed and it was so loud.

3.0 / 5.0
It was a nice location and it was clean.
They were under construction and they didn’t tell us when we booked the flight. When we got there at the checking the revealed that the hotel is under construction and there is no gym or pool. Parking was extremely expensive. $54 per night which is ridiculous.
