The location was good. We still needed a cab to get where we wanted in TO

Nothing. I am looking for a refund for the stay. It was unacceptable the conditions that were present.
Hello, I am looking for a refund for my stay.
My coworkers arrived at the location and there were bed bugs and stains on their sheets. They left immediately and had to drive two hours to their home.

location in downtown
I didn’t like that there were a lot of homeless people and “weird characters” all around the property and even inside of the building. We stayed there for an important appointment and planned to walk there leaving the car on the hotel’s parking lot; however, looking at the number of “weird characters” all around we didn’t risk to leave our car with many belongings there. Instead, we drove away and paid for the parking in Downtown.
The cost of the hotel for a small room was pretty high ($250+).
The room was very small -it’s size reminded travel to Hong Kong. Furniture was old and simple. From good side- the room was well organised with a small kitchen aid corner, a small table with 2 chairs and 2 double bed.

It was fine enough for the price. Lady at the front desk was super nice to us and very helpful. She gave us a few tips, some advice on what to do and where to eat before the show we were going to. Room was mostly fine. We were on floor 6 and had a nice view of Toronto outside our window.
Elevator was broken. 6 flights of stairs wasn’t ideal. The room probably could have been a little cleaner and I wouldn’t have much to say other than the elevator. It was okay, you just felt like it could have been a little better. That’s really it. No real complaints.

Staff is friendly, location is amazing, parking is plentiful. Walkable to Kensington Market and close to groceries and tram stops. Beds are comfortable and clean, room service is good. Kitchenette is quite impressive (electric kettle, sink, silverware). Picked up a hair dryer from the front desk.
Toiletries are meager (ketchup-packet style shampoo), towels are hydrophobic, elevator was broken all 4 nights (with the only available room on the 6th floor), cigarette smoke in the lobby, stairwell, and occasionally leaking into our room. Woken up in the middle of the night by 1. the smell of cigarettes 2. arguing/loud hotel guests and 3. reception dialing the wrong room.

The elevator was not working (had been out of commission for a week ) when we arrived. I had just finished a knee replacement 1 month prior and found the stair climb to our 6th floor room daunting. had I known I would have booked elsewhere but it was too late. This information should have been made to me !!!

Erm ...an interesting place. Firstly, location is decent in west downtown with trams running into the city. The actual building location is somewhat rough around the edges but seemed safe enough from what I saw. The lady at reception seemed a little cold at first but was actually quite helpful and just incredibly busy!
It's well over-priced but that might be down to availability that time of year (Sept/Oct)
What I wasn't aware of when I booked was that the building is shared with a covid shelter i.e. folk who are now out of work who have been placed in the government funded accommodation, also shared with a womens' shelter and a hospital on the ground floor. So a very mixed clientele as you can imagine
Clean but very basic and dated

I got what I paid for. The front desk person Clara was super helpful and friendly. It is a simple hotel that delivers what you are paying for, not fancy, just a clean room and a bed to sleep, very good price for Toronto. The location was excelent, close to the street cars and a walk distance to Chinatown . I would stay again for the price.
old furniture, beaten up carpet

Great downtown location, close to so much and to transit! Blankets were very soft, and comfortable beds.
The laneway outside our window seemed to be a popular hangout for homeless people who would go on screaming tirades every few minutes, all night long. Obviously in no way the hotel’s fault and not on their property, but it doesn’t make for a peaceful sleep.

The lady at the reception (in her 60s with short hair and glasses) super kind and got out of her way to make my stay as comfortable as possible.
A crazy old lady shouting around and complainingabout everything... but I guess is part of the landscape now. Lol.

The room was very cleab. The price was right.
They should have made sure there was at least 2 extra rolls of toilet paper as spares just in case.
