Really lovely place . Manager Rowan was so helpful . Communication before our trip and during was exceptional .
There was nothing we didn't like but we stayed out of season and the restaurant wasn't open which was a pity

There was nothing enjoyable about this property.
The room, and entire lodge, looked nothing like the photos. The bed had stains on it, there was SO much hair in the shower on the floor, there were no robes in the room, the wifi did not work consistently (it seemed as though if more than one room was connected it cut out). The staff was very difficult to get ahold of, and the restaurant was closed the entire time. The price is astronomically high for what you receive. The self check in was also not ready, and they had to add us in when we arrived. We believe this resulted in us not getting the proper room we paid for.

Tom was very friendly and asked us if we ever needed anything, even offered us a discount coupon for the golden skybridge. The place was very clean. It was a bit of a drive from downtown but we got to enjoy some nice scenery during the drive. The main area always played some nice music. The whole place had a nice vibe and good for a quiet place to relax and spend some time away from the city. Checking in and checking out was incredibly simple!

it was clean and comfortable with brilliant views.
No facilities whatsoever! We were never informed that bar or food facilities would not be available until we got here! Several trips back down into Golden for meals/supermarkets.

No breakfast at the lodge but great breakfast and lunch at Double Black. We hadn’t been since before Covid but, reassuringly, it hadn’t changed. Decent evening meals are harder to come by at the resort, though, so you might want to go into Golden.
Our room was cold, and it became clear the thermostat in our room had broken. There were no staff on site. Our room key had been left in an envelope at reception as we we arrived at 7, which is hardly late. The Lodge was clean and tidy, but it lacked atmosphere and, on the whole, was looking a little tired.

Location is great, I would have rated much better but a few things were missed that made our stay seem overlooked
Arriving in my room with the window slightly open and the thermostat down low, felt like 10C in there. Had a kid and wife so not the best. After finally getting the window closed and heat up the shower soap was empty and the little coffee pod machine handle had to be held down when running a shot else the pod slipped and wasted the only 2 decaf pods that were in the room. These are small things but when u have a had an unexpectedly long day and arrive late u just don't expect issues with an upscale place. Being late in the season the restaurant on-site was also closed.

Lage war sehr gut

The lodge was beautiful, the location for the wedding i was attending was absolutely perfect!
I was extremely disappointed that upon arrival the steps that lead up to the reception desk and our room where not shoveled. The were snow packed, icy and very hard to navigate when trying to carry up luggage or walk up even in a bridesmaid dress. For how much it costs to stay this seemed extremely bizarre. Then upon entering the room we discovered that there were cheezies on the floor and the nespresso machine was not cleaned out from previous guest. You could also hear people in the common area or coughing and talking in the other rooms.

Location was great. Room security was low…basically a bathroom lock on the room door. But I wasn’t too worried about that.

close to the hill, good restaurant/pub, cozy common area, ski/snowboard room to dry off and store equipment, netflix on tv, nespresso pods
not enough nespresso pods, little icy steps leading to main entrance, not enough hooks to hang and dry ski/snowboard gear

N/A - there was no breakfast at the accommodation, we went to the local cafe which was excellent

The building and rooms themselves were very nice. the decor was fitting for the location and beds were comfortable.
The building temperature was set to 83F, 28 C. The halls were so hot that even with our room thermostat all the way down, we were extremely hot. We needed the windows open to get any sleep. The wifi was down in our building, and the only way to use the TV was using apps on wifi. To stay in and watch a movie, we had to connect to our own iPhone hotspots and use up our data.
The room only had enough towels and cups for 2 people even though we booked for 4. When we asked for more, they told us we shouldn’t have more than 4 people in the room instead of bringing us more. We only ever had the designated number in the room. We also needed toilet paper and garbage bags - the only way to get more was to get lucky and find a worker in the hallway, as they stopped responding to emails.
There was no hair dryer, but when we tracked down a staff member in the hallway they brought one.

The place was really nice, rooms are spacious and we did get kind of a special feel to the place. Good vibe.
We had some trouble finding the hotel entrance in complete darkness during our arrival. The place is an bit far from town.

Nice lodge
It said the restaurant was open for breakfast and lunch on the paperwork I was sent but they were not open. After driving all day and then getting all the way up the mountain hungry and tired only to fond out no food was extremely disappointing.

Great lodge on top of the mountain with an authentic feeling.
There is no way you can reach out to the staff with your questions, as we tried to do. There is no daily cleaning, no clean towels, no instructions where to get some. Ok, there’s a staff shortage we know that, but then the prices shut drop for the lowered standards. There are so many ways to coop with the staff shortage but we felt that the management didn’t even care about their guests and this issue. Hope they rethink the way they operate this place.

It's a great comfortable place. Beautifully set in nature. Great bed. Nice touches. Great access to the gondola and hikes.

the location and the peace and quiet. loved the communal lounge and kitchen facilities, microwave and kettle. they had heaps of fun things to do
no cable tv. plus I didn’t realise that the restaurant was closed still for the season so we could get no food

The size of the room, the bathroom, the view.
As we were here in summer the restaurant was closed

Quiet location and quaint lodge. Nice that it had toaster and microwave in common living space.
In summer, it is a bit far from Golden, but would be great for skiing.
Appeared to be no staff there at night, so couldn’t get towels, which were missing from our room. No ice available on property that we could find.
Felt price was high for summer location and amenities.

Loved the location!! Being in a ski lodge surprised us in a very good way!!!
2.0 / 5.0
No facilities for breakfast. Only a water cooler on site and a small microwave. Location is very isolated - 14km out of town
Room was dusty. No room service or any staff on site. Any requests had to be done by email - very impersonal
