Ski in and out. Great position
Staff lovely
It’s a little tired in areas. But nothing major

The location was great
Elevators were not working
7.0 / 10.0
The views were spectacular
Unfortunately it has been warmer than usual and there is no air conditioning. This did make it not as pleasant for sleeping but really not much can be done. Fans were provided. Thank you.

Very Nice Location with great mountain views.
Little far from Golden town.
7.0 / 10.0
The views, peace and quiet and proximity to bike hire.
Restaurants and supermarket had limited opening times.

The best part was the Comfy King Sized Bed.
The reception people in the morning were very pleasant.
The room had two sets of real dishes which was nice (better than plastic).
Clearly, the hotel was not full. They gave us a room looking over the parking lot instead of the view of the mountain.
The entrance was a little dark. Needs to brighten up.
I was really surprised that they did not have any cafe open at all. You had to drive to town which is 15 minutes away. Would have been nice to know that before arriving.

Beautiful scenery and very clean and quiet , I’d stay again , high up away from everything
Unfortunately the restaurants were all closed after 5 I think due to the low season as it is a ski resort, was a bit disappointed to have to go all the way down to town for dinner

The location was not what I was looking for. The checking process is too complicated. I suffer for a lower back disability and it was extremely complicated to me to move from one building to another.

The hotel has lovely views of the mountains all around. The rooms were clean and bed comfortable, I'm glad the patio door had a screen because otherwise we either would've been too hot all night, or gotten bitten alive by mosquitoes. It's a beautiful drive through to the town of Golden.
Check in was a little weird - the website said there would be someone on the desk until 9 so we got there for 815, only to find that staff left at 6pm, and a piece of paper with my name on it containing the room keys on the front desk. Anybody could have walked in and taken it! Luckily there was another guest who had just been through the check in process who guided me through filling out the forms and locating the rooms. I understand that this alongside the lack of A/C is due to our stay not being in either winter nor summer season, so we expected things to be a little weird!

Off season so it felt almost apocalyptic but as we are familiar with the area it wasn’t uncomfortable.
Self checkin was unexpected but efficient.
The hotel emailed local information that helped immensely.
The outside rooftop patio assigned to our room wasn’t at its best. Weed control was in process which left evidence of chemical warfare every couple of feet. As it was +30 and flip flops were the best footwear, it made enjoying the area questionably dangerous.

Location was great. Condo was nice.
Bed was super soft, too soft to be comfortable. The lower sheet was a flat sheet which would not stay on the bed so bed was constantly a mess.
The towels felt like sandpaper.

no coffee in room, reception in another building, locked out of room after extended check out time

Glacier Mountain Lodge is in an excellent location with great views of the slopes or surrounding mountains
Despite the resort being quiet, the Lodge had no available ski storage with many lockers used by locals so skis could only be left in the car overnight.
If you are going for a short visit you will not be able to use the hot tub on an evening as it operates on a booking system and is fully booked at least a week in advance with people booking multiple days at a time preventing others using it. Staff were clearly frustrated by this but largely indifferent and unable to do anything about it.
The 3 resort eating establishments open on a rota, the base ones each closing 2 nights per week with the on mountain restaurant only open Friday and Saturday evenings. We were there Sunday night to Wednesday and only had 1 option for eating. For 2 of those nights they were short staffed and only offered an apres ski snack menu so had to drive to Golden to get an actual meal.

amazing location for ski in, ski out
very nice room
virtual absence of restaurants in the resorts. only one of the two options open on any one evening and in both cases a very very limited menu given staffing issues.

The property was conveniently located at the base area making it easy to come and go. Parking was accessible. Great hot tub.
The units were outdated and quite small. They were also not very noise proof. The kitchens lacked some dishes like coffee cups and the coffee maker was not great.

We had to move rooms twice because they didn't fit with what we reserved.. Two beds plus a foldout couch to accommodate myself and my two boys..
Staff's knowledge of which rooms worked for our reservation..

- Amazing boot drying and ski locker facility
- Hot tub and sauna were good for a 3 star hotel
- You could tell that no love or money has been invested into maintaining an older building.
- Very small bathrooms with the cheapest of the cheap hotel toiletries.
- Really average restaurant.

Spent three evenings on top of the mountain on Eagle's eye and three days at glacier. The first two evenings even though it was to cold to ski were great, finally were able to ski what a great mountain. Mark Rawford was one of the best concierges I've ever had, accommodating, personable and helpful. Jorrit hands down one of the best chefs I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with, his detail and pride of his meals was shown every time he cooked a delicious meal. I've worked and holidayed all over the world and the second evening we were there was absolutely stunning... I had the pleasure of meeting Toby and relayed this message to him personally. Predominately had a positive experience and salutations to the staff that went above and beyond and who understand the hospitality industry.
I had a few issues with ski lift staff, when asked if we could have a private gondala to go up with gear was basically told "Too bad" and jump in line with our luggage and ski gear. Not a good attitude to have when paying for the great experience of having top of the mountain. However talked with an Australian gentleman who was on top of it right away, he also worked up top and handled everything very professionally. Was not happy with lift service that day, that being said their were a lot of great lift staff that week and don't want to ruin it for the actions of two people. Elevator was out at Glacier lodge which was inconvenient and didn't have any cleaning service all week. Finally, our final concierge at Eagle's Eye, Wade was a decent enough fellow, however I felt him a bit of a prude, this could have been from personality difference... He didn't do a bad job, just felt more personable with Mark, no offence I know what it's like when you don't drink and have people on holiday's and want to let let loose, wish all the best.

1st night the room we stayed in was very small but the 2nd night we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and it was beautiful. Breathtaking views the while place was surrounded by mountains. The drive up and down was amazing. Would definitely go there again
I was kinda skeptical that they left my reservation on the counter and there was no staff around to check us in. We didn't realize our hotel room was in the next building over which made it a bit confusing

I and my family stay in your hotel every time we pass Golden. We love the fabulous view, quietness on top of the mountian and nature in reach. We also love the staff, receptionist and indoor parking. We also love the bed, the bathroom and a mini kitchen.
The corner of the bed extended far out of the mattress. It hurts me twice at night. There is no desk at all in the room. I cannot work with my PC. Nor there is any table to eat. There is just one single chair. There is not other chair at all if I will invite any guest. I was struggling watching TV. There are three monitor and it is a hell of a job to learn how to use them. They are not user-friendly at all. I stayed the other night at Coast. It is just a completely different customer experience. I do not now what went wrong past two years but something very different than before. disappointing.

Underground parking was closed. Had to park in a dark, dirt lot. Hot tub was closed. Room needs updating.

I liked the location.
The wierd hallway with the extra room door, it gave horror movie vibes

location is great for winter skiing...I expect
unless you have a a little kitchenette in each room...one can starve...as the nearest eateries are down in Golden
