There were lots of hummingbirds
Terribly out of the way, littered with dated personal items, terrible old mattresses and ancient towels

King suite was a good size and relatively comfortable.
no sign of spa services, no dinner service was available, breakfast sounded a little pricey. TV was next to useless - no channel guide or movie channel or service. Sheets did not fit. Had to request a second set of towels.

Doris was extremely friendly. She made us feel at home. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Will definitely return.
Nothing really.

Amazingly clean and fabulous hosts.
beautiful meals too

The location is lovely, a little out of town but beautifully quiet alongside the creek.
Doris runs the establishment, is very friendly and real. The place has soul unlike the modern corporate properties often found in towns.
Her home cooked breakfast is delicious.

Glenogle is a little bit out of town, super quiet except for the creek that runs in front of it. Doris and her husband work extremely hard to ensure it is clean and guests have everything they need. Rooms are spacious with a balcony and Mountain View.
It was great.
4.5
Amazing breakfast. Host was friendly & engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Hope to come back & see it in a different season.

The property was clean
,spacious, quiet and a good location to Golden plus attractions. Kitchen was very accommodating to dietary requests and the food was first class. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, felt very much like home.

A lovely place to stay, very quiet snd amazing view. Doris, the owner, is a warm person which so much love to give.
The breakfast and the dinner Doris prepared for us were delicious and in big portions.
The room was very clean and comfortable with a private patio. We stayed at the king’s room.

The owners were lovely and I liked the location.
The property is advertised as a “Resort and Spa”, this could not be further from the truth. It is essentially a bed and breakfast, except you have to pay more for the breakfast. It is so insanely over priced for what it is and I am so disappointed. The room we booked (which I originally thought we had a cabin because of the price) was in the basement. It was advertised as a garden view, and yes it did look out to the garden which is full of weeds and not maintained at all. The floor in the room was not clean, nor was the bathroom. We brought our baby with us and she picked up so much hair and crumbs from the floor we couldn’t even let her crawl around. Honestly if we could get our money back we would. It was such a waste.

location
1. There was no A/C or fan. Very hot at night, could not sleep well.
2. Our rooms were switched. No balcony, no walkout to garden , no sitting area, no twin queen beds.
3. Found bugs and spiders in the bathroom.
4. Towels were not properly washed, had a foul smell.

Breakfast was superb!

Very expensive for the offering

This place was quiet and comfortable. I could have sat on the porch listening to the running water forever. Doris was super nice and friendly. I felt like I was staying with family. I would love to go back.
I wish that more people were there, but I bet it is very busy during the winter.

The family who owns the place are so accommodating and friendly. They helped me bring my items to my room and even minded my toddler while I got organized.

Everything, especially Doris, she was so welcoming and friendly. We were traveling, with my wife and son. She made us feel that we are visiting one of very close family member. The room and the grounds were charming and very nicely furnished. Like, our house, we had to take off our shoes before we walk into our gorgeous room. The whole building was very clean and very neat. She studied and executed every detail on the premises with the best possible option. She served a very nice breakfast which was far better than what we’ve had at any hotel. This was not a hotel, but our own house. She spared her time to chat with us which we enjoyed very much and found lots of common ground and great sightseeing tips as well.

What a beautiful place. Tucked in the mountains, up a quiet road way off the noisy highway , but close enough to town to grab a pizza and a beer. The lodge is very inviting and so peaceful.
