I like that you could get a buffet and the girls were just great they come back to make sure that everything was okay that you're pleasant and nice
There could have been a mini fridge in the room but others did that it was great

The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable.
They did not tell me ahead of time that the elevators were not functioning. I am 67 years old and had to climb 3 flights of stairs more than once a day with my great-granddaughter. I asked if there was a discount and was told it wasn't their fault that they broke. I was up at 9:30 one morning, so I had put do not disturb on the door until I could get showered. A note was slid under my door if I wanted the room cleaned to call an extension. When I called it, I got transferred. I asked if I could at least get new towels. The person asked several people while I was listening, and I heard one person say, "I guess so!" I told them to never mind. Unfortunately, I will find another place to stay. I had planned to go in August.

I liked the character of the property and the staff were great! The restaurant also was great.
The rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable.

A historic inn with beautiful grounds and setting. The grand room overlooks the Digby basin which is lovely. Large size outdoor pool.
Unfortunately, Wifi did not work in our room and we had to go to the main hallway. It never got resolved over our 2 day stay. I am not sure if this is an issue in all rooms. There was mold in the bathtub area and peeling old paint on the roof that was in our sightline for our "view" from the room. With the price we paid, there should be no bathtub mold and old chip paint to look at.

The bartender was lovely and our waitress. Such a gorgeous space that just needs some love. Lots of potential.
The lack of art :( add some colour. Some Indigenous art added to the restaurant and some background music would be great.

Bed a little hard for us.

beautiful property
a lot of amenities are not up and running. workout room, the pool is marketed as a heated pool with steam room but it’s far from that and they make you pay to use it. UNREAL!!, for what you get.

it’s a beautiful older property that’s in the process of some needed updating and minor finishes, beautiful location
the breakfast buffet was cold, this is just a minor item that can be rectified if the staff keep eye on the warmer’s temperature

Beautiful old hotel. Enjoyed the stay
Wifi was good but not the best. Front desk staff more focused on their tasks than the guests.

Breakfast was amazing. Just wish we would have made it there for all 3 mornings. We missed the time frame the first day and had to leave really early the last day.

The housekeeper went out of her way to replace a faulty coffeemaker.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the restaurant. Everything seemed perfectly normal until tonight.
A private function with a light show and DJ has been playing at a deafening level for 5 hours under our window. According to the front desk, "quiet time" will begin at 11:00 pm. We booked this room with a water view and were not informed of this insane intrusion on our privacy beforehand. The level of inconsideration on the part of the hotel management is unspeakable.

Loved the pool. It was awesome. Breakfast was awesome and the bed was comfy.

Friendly staff and the food was exceptional.
it’s definitely out-dated, which I think they are working on. We missed having a fridge and microwave in our room. It was hard to find complimentary water and we didn’t know they had complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. Otherwise everything else was great!
