The exceptional location close to trails. The scenery.
There is no place on the ground floor of the hotel to just sit (lounge).
The food of the bistro is not up to the place. There are too many fries and fried food.
TV image quality is very bad.
There is no English channel on TV (except Netflix, etc, but you have to have a subscription).
We had a serious issue with our air cooler. The guy came three times before we were finally changed of room.
4.0
The location was beautiful, the staff all friendly. The room was very clean. The bistro was perfect for children.
The hallways were always warm and the rooms were carpeted.
3.5
centrally located for skiing throughout the chic chocs
Isolated and far from services. The Gîte allows one to book without selecting meals, however, rooms are not equipped to make meals. They should provide kitchenettes or not allowing booking without meals.
3.0
great location, comfy rooms
very nice personnel in the dining room and bar
beware, the room booked on Booking.com is NOT is the main Gîte, it’s a separate, older building, that is a few hundred meters away
-overpriced breakfast

wonderful location, nice staff
our neighbours at the hotel put their ski boots in the hallway to dry, sharing the odor with everyone!!
staff should have intervened

the view was amazing, the trails and the restaurant had excellent service props to our waitress Sonia
We were not located in the gîte the put us in pavillon Caribou. We were not informed that there is a Sauna now for guests. So we didn’t bring robe or bathing suit
4.5
great location next to all the trails. beautiful views.
breakfast was a ridiculous price for what you got (basically motel 6 food in a beautiful dining room). Next time I’ll bring croissants and yoghurt from home and save 65$

The environment and the room were lovely.
We had heard the food in the restaurant was fabulous, but you can't get into the restaurant without a reservation. When we arrived, there was nobody to take the reservation, despite trying 3 times. So we had to eat dinner in the bistro, which was marginal.

Perfect location

The restaurant served us such an amazing set dinner, served by the ever-so-friendly Matthew, that we are still talking about it! The location in the forest is relaxing and we were able to go on a hike to the waterfalls which we really enjoyed seeing. The room we had was good with a nice view of the mountains and sunset over the tops of trees. The pool wasn't opened so we could not enjoy a swim.
The building that our room was in did not have an elevator so we did have to lift our luggage up the stairs.
5.0
The Git has many wonderful amenities and an incredible fine dining restaurant that is reasonably priced.
I regret not booking a longer stay.

we’ll sited for hiking and other outdoor activities
AC inadequate, housekeeping didn’t do our room, prices a bit excessive

Location was excellent (only hotel in the area). Good wifi. Room was amazing, clean and spacious. Good amenities and facilities. Pretty good value for this tier of hotel.
Not a lot of food options nearby

location is great, cross street is the mont-Albert hiking trail. room is very clean, on site restaurant is so convenient and food is delicious.
3.0
Everything except the restaurant.
The restaurant is a “must” since it the only one in the vicinity! Food was no more than mediocre and we were given the very strong impression by restaurant staff that as Booking clients we were of much less interest to them than other clients. Our decision not to reserve there for one of our two evenings was loudly mocked by staff in the presence of other customers.
4.0
Great location in Gaspesie National Park. big bedrooms with great mountain views. Boot dryer in the bedroom. very good food in the restaurant.
Wi-Fi in the Caribou Pavilion (where our bedroom was) very patchy and kept dropping out, unlike in the main hotel building where it was solid
5.0
The cabin, fully well-equipped...The fondue was a sign of excellence...The walking trails are exceptional.
Nothing..
