Great place to visit the city

It was really nice and clean, great value. It's close to the airport, but not a noisy location at all. One of the tram lines has a stop just a few minutes away, so accessing downtown is possible without a car.

The immediate area around the hotel is a bit dodgy.

I wasn’t sure if it was safe in the hotel. It was just a feeling I had. I will never stay there again.

I liked the bed. Very comfortable. Big refrigerator.

I didn’t like the smell in my room. It was an old, musty, smell coming out of the air conditioner. The stove didn’t work, no hot water in the shower, long black hair on the floor in my bathroom and it wasn’t mine.

Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

I liked the location, it was so close to the airport and they provide airport shuttle.

You have to pay for laundry, no breakfast. Rooms weren’t as clean as I expected.

Exceptional

This hotel has a very fun atmosphere and a quirky staff ( in a really good refreshing way.) I stayed here because I needed to be at the airport at 4am. The staff arranged my pickup at no additional cost to me.

Don't overlook this hotel. Liked it better than the one across the street from them by far.

I've stayed at various hotels in the past. The gal at the front desk had to be the nicest I've come across with a good sense of humor. Since I was away for 6 days on a very early flight, she set up my pickup since her shuttle drivers don't start that early. And I loved my room alot. I liked the room alot. Kitchen and a large desk area if needed. Had a nice quiet comfortable stay.

There wasn't a thing I didn't like.

That was a Sonesta??

Facility very near to airport. Uber service was great. Bed comfortable. Bathroom clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

Entrance felt like one was entering a lockdown and not a hotel. It was more of a "side entrance" than a main one. Since it is a residence hotel there is a strong odor of lingering food . I asked to have a new room because it smelled like fried fish. They moved me to the 3rd floor which was better but the pillows and bedclothes all had lingering odors of cooked food. The sink in the kitchette was dirty -- bits and pieces of food that didn't make it to the drain. Coffee fixings in the room were very low quality. Uber service was good but they kept waking me up with reminders. Was much relieved to get outta there!

Don’t stay here if you have a car. There is no place to park and unload your car. Not one single parking spot. The reason is that this is a long-term parking lot for the airport.

Restful and pleasant

We had previously booked another "hotel" the night before coming into SLC and were incredibly pitboff by that property foray reasons. We had to rebook fast since it was nearing evening and we had a long drive the next day. We booked this room at Sonesta last minute for a bit more money than planned but everything we needed for a relaxing restful stay was provided for us. The staff was happy to help when we needed a place to wait while our reservation came through and the smiling faces were such a pleasant welcoming addition to our stay

I only wish I would have booked this property earlier and skipped the hassle with the other "hotel"

I felt it was expensive for the quality of the facility, but bed and bathroom were great.

The bed was very comfortable and the room looked clean. Nice mini-kitchen. Friendly front desk people. Great place if all you want to do is sleep and shower.

The lobby itself was not welcoming. Both inside and outside the hotel is that dingy bluish lighting that makes me feel like someone is standing around the corner with a knife. It's a pet friendly hotel, which I knew, but it appeared that the pets were more important than the people. The hallway smelled horrible. At times there was less of a stench and at times more of a stench, but there was always a stench. There were a few items in disrepair in the halls, like the carpet just outside the elevator which made it appear the hotel was not well-maintained. Too bad because most of it actually looked well cared for. Location is convenient to Airport, but lots of vagrants around. Pretty sketchy area.
