Deserves the lowest star rating in town

Basic accommodation but old and run down. Full kitchen was nice, towels were fluffy. It was clean. Once we turned it on the ac took only a few hours to cool the room.

No maid service our second day so No clean towels. Ac didn't cool back room. Few TV channels. One pillow each. Kids went to ask for wifi password and pillows at 11 pm. No answer at the lobby door.

Cozy,clean and safe space at an unbeatable price

This is the second time we have stayed at Ranchland over the passed week( when we started our trip and on our way back). For the price, you cannot beat it! me and my friend(who has Down syndrome) and our pup were in a safe, clean, comfortable room. The owner is very friendly, works hard, and even upgraded us despite my error when booking;he made sure the tv was on and the air conditioner was going. The bedding was clean. The room has no smell. And we enjoyed the large flatscreen tv. I have stayed in many of Merritt motels and I have to say it’s a nice place that doesn’t break the pocket -which I’m grateful given how expensive life is right now.

a cozy stay with fantastic owners who really care.

The owners are extremely friendly and eager to ensure their guests happiness. We came into town after a long day, and the owner awaited us at the front door and insured. Everything was perfect for us, including coming to our room to ensure we were satisfied and bringing us a couple of extra towels. we got a unit that was like a suite with a separate bedroom with a queen bed and then in the open space there were two double beds, along with a full stove and refrigerator with microwave and a sink. The room was clean. If you were looking for modern and all the fancy amenities, this might not be your place but for a basic stay, this place is perfect! Could not ask for nicer people to deal with. The owner and his partner were the highlight for us. We found it to be quiet and comfortable. Thank you for a great stay.

Quiet, comfortable and completely looked after!

It was exceptionally clean and well looked after for its age. It’s a very cute little place with the best value I’ve found in Merritt. I stayed for two nights and chatted with the owners, they’re very sweet and attentive, and went above and beyond for us by letting us check in early when we were extremely tired. I highly recommend this little gem!

Location. Bed was comfortable.

It is a 2 star motel, not the Ritz. It is a little shabby, but comfortable. The top of the stove could have been cleaner, but everything else was good.

Disappointing

Convenient location. Comfortable bed.

Smelled of smoke. Cleanliness was poor with obvious build up of dirt on top of the fridge and in cupboards. More run down and not as clean as in the past.

The owner is very nice and doesn't bother you. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was very relaxing.

The room was a little bit cold when 1st entered but warmed up nicely.

Well lit parking lot, everting we needed was in the room. Expectations for a motel were met. I have stayed in 4 different motels in Merritt. I would book this one again.

the family suite was nice and spacious. the air conditioner was amazing. fast internet and comfy beds

the ceiling fan sounded like it was going to fall off when on. the trash can could be bigger. I didn’t get the security deposit back even though we left the room how it was when we first got there

Not happy, never go back there.

First of all, add showed 109$,but they charged me for 129$. Second,the owner deny I made full information on line ,expect to fill up again . then ask me to pay on my card.I told him ,I gave my card info and I don't use it again. He said can not understand English. But want to get pay.after run on my card showed me 145$ paid bill. I agreed for 109$ when I gave my info but got charge for higher price. It was not worth. I could stay in other place (hotel) ,not old motel. Not happy.

Cheating, lack of service, WiFi didn't provide. No soap, fly in the room.

Nothing wrong with the place.

Staff were nice and accommodated late check in. It’s not a trendy modern place but our room was clean and the bed was nice and comfy. Wife and I have pretty high expectations And for a motel on the go this worked just fine.

Good value motel.

Space available to park a truck and trailer, rooms were small but tidy, small individual tables and chairs outside for smokers, key had a beer opener attached. Quiet.

TV didn’t work.
