Love the convenience of being on Temple campus

Location, parking and room quality are always excellent.
As Spring break was starting and students had to be out of their dorms, I booked this room for my daughter and her room mate to stay in before I could pick them up on Sunday and bring them home (I was returning from a road trip to Florida). In the early hours of the morning a homeless person was able to get in to the hotel (I have stayed here several times and there is hardly ever anyone on the front desk during the best of hours), make it up to the third floor and proceed to bang on the hotel room door and then urinate all over it. My daughter and her room mate were terrified. They complained to the front desk but suprisingly they did not get the police involved even though the main campus office is next door. Suffice it to say, the girls hardly for any sleep. When they did manage to fall asleep they were out until around 12:30pm when I arrived to pick them up. Within a few minutes of my arrival we were packed and getting ready to leave when the door was being banged on aggresively. on Opening we were confronted with a very angry "assistant manager" who was literally foaming at the mouth trying to kick us out immediately as we had passed check out time. Her tone and actions were hostile and confrontational. When called upon to respond to the events of the early hours she simply stomped off like a petulant child shouting "you can talk to my manager". Every other previous visit has been a pleasant experience with friendly staff members. Not only was this visit frightening for the girls, but the attitude of this staff member was appaling as well. We were truly dissapointed with this stay - especially as the hotel is not cheap.

Hotel is located on the Temple University campus just an FYI. My husband and I found it to be a pleasant place to stay.

I loved that it was close to a campus.

It felt safe and comfortable and they have great, helpful staff. Perfect location in the middle of everything. Everything you want or need is within a mile or two.
There were no refrigerators in the rooms, had to pay extra for parking that was not guaranteed. If you left the property, you may not find parking when you get back.

Great central location on Temple's campus, very reasonable parking and walkable to a lot of amenities

Great location on campus for a visiting Temple parent. Next store to Saxby’s, which has good coffee.
The rooms were old and dingy, and the first one they gave me had stained carpet and toilet. I had to move to a different one. The bed felt a bit saggy and over-soft.

I loved the staff and I loved being on the campus of Temple University.
I took several walks around the area and the proximity of campus police made me feel safer.
The Conwell Inn is difficult to find and also hard to get to given my husband experiencing back pain that makes it hard to walk. There is no easy way to go from the parking lot to the hotel. Once in the hotel, the bed was *much* too soft to be comfortable for him. Restaurants nearby were not good, and the area itself did not feel safe. It's not the best part of Philly.

The best thing about this Inn was the location. We had an event on the Temple campus and it was the perfect location.
We arrived late at night and the sign for where to park was NOT easy to find. Also, we called for help in locating the parking lot and no one answered the phone. We were given a handicap room so the bathroom was not very comfortable for us.

Driveway was very hard to find.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Lock was not working on door so we had to bother staff to open it when we would want to get back into our room, howver they were very friendly about it and the room was comfortable.

So close to the Liacouras center my Grandson and his friend could walk to their concert.
would have liked a microwave in room for the late night snacks and was unaware of the $20 fee to park!

Our trip was to visit our daughter at Temple. This is perfect for that, it is super convenient with inexpensive parking when compared to anything in Center City. Great value.
The bed is uncomfortable, too soft.
