Esperienza nkn comune, da provare!

Quando abbiamo prenotato pensavamo fosse l’edificio di un ex monastero ristrutturato come albergo. All’arrivo invece abbiamo capito che il monastero è, ad oggi, funzionate ed attivo. L’ambiente infonde serenità, le camere (non quelle originali che non abbiamo visto), sono piccoline ma molto silenziose con un letto spazioso ed un bagno comodo. Non ci sono tv, Mini bar, telefoni, cassetta di sicurezza. Direi che la scelta è in sintonia con l’ambiente. Centralissimo alla zona storica! Nel complesso un’esperienza “strana” ma carina.

Per arrivare alle camere di passa per un corridoio con le stanze del museo. Si tratta di ambienti di un ex ospedale dove le suore, nel corso dei secoli hanno curato i malati, soprattutto i più bisognosi. Massima ammirazione! Peccato che si vedono lettini operatori, bisturi, riproduzioni anatomiche, letti d’ospedale e foto storiche …. Fa molta soggezione ….

Un remanso de paz junto a las zona turísticas de Quebec

El concepto de integrar un alojamiento turístico con un monasterio activo y con la oferta de wellness espiritual y física. El alojamiento transmite paz desde el primer momento, todo está hecho con mucho cariño y el personal es muy amable. El desayuno es muy bueno. Tiene un museo sobre el monasterio muy interesante. Las camas son cómodas. Puedes alojarte en las habitaciones originales donde se alojaban las monjas, aunque no es tan espartano como entonces. Lo baños son compartidos pero están muy limpios y equipados. Y hay muchos disponibles en los pasillos.

A restful place that is far superior to most hotels I have stayed at.

Wonderful place for quiet and contemplative escape from the hectic Old Quebec City environment. Silent breakfast was a great way to start the day.

Relaxation inside a historical monastery

Very good location, an oasis right next to all the hustle and bustle of old Quebec. Hotel itself is a piece of art, with so many things and locations to explore including a museum and a lot of relaxation spots. Breakfast was amazing, with many vegan and vegetarian options. Very high quality delicious produce. Rooms and corridors were super clean

Room was a bit small for two. A couple of cloth hangers on the wall would have helped a lot. Water coolers were only available on lower floors, so we had to go downstairs to refill our bottles all the time. It would have been nice to have an electric kettle in the room

Excellent séjour dans ce lieu historique de très grand intérêt

Emplacement super! Intérêt du site même (musée, choeur, artéfacts, jardins…) pour les gens férus d'histoire, excellent déjeuner qui est aussi très varié, excellent repas-midi pris au comptoir (sandwich au sanglier). Quiétude du lieu

J’ai trouvé le prix un peu cher.

Reposant et agréable séjour je recommande vivement

Tres bel endroit, le calme est reposant et l’ambiance agréable. La chambre est tres belle, simple et élégante. Le restaurant est très bon. Nous avons meme testé un massage très agréable et la visite du monastère très intéressante. Je ne peux que vivement recommander.

Peux être avoir le petit déjeuner jusqu’à 10h

Location and accommodations were ideal. Meals were fresh and delicious. Above all there was a peaceful atmosphere.

So restful

I would have preferred a simple dinner soup instead of having to have a full evening meal

Très, très agréable.

le calme, le musée, l'histoire des sœur, le personnel de restauration, la propreté tout ça fait que notre séjour restera dans notre mémoire. Si toutefois nous revenons au Québec je pense que notre séjour sera plus long.Trés

Peaceful

The Monastere was a very special place to stay, so serene, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast I was extraordinary. The history of the people who lived there and the building is evident in the museum on site. We will stay here again on future trips to Quebec City.

Awfulfrom beginning to end.

1. Difficult flight of stairs outside to reach door of building. Absolutely NO help to carry my heavy luggage (I was returning from ski & snow shoe vacation) & NO food/drink available (I'd spent 10 h on the bus returning from the Gaspe & was famished!) 2. I struggled to find my way through the building & to my room with my heavy luggage. The only person I saw in the building was a receptionist, who promptly disappeared as soon as I entered my room. As far as I could tell, there was no one else on the floor or anywhere else in the building. 3. I took the elevator to try to find someone who could provide instructions, without success. Then I got lost & could not find my way back to my room. I felt trapped. Again no one around. Fear took over me. Eventually I was able to find my way back to my room but could not sleep all night, because of this fear, my sense of isolation, the lack of support & the over heated room (inadequate Ventillation)

Very good

Loved the breakfast. Disappointed that the yoga classes are now charged and not free. Bathroom in our room has a dip in the middle where water pooled. Cost of a cup of tea was high.

Did not disappoint! Anxious to return for retreat!

Everything; very clean, the idea of having breakfast in silence, I loved it. The location was the best, walking distance to main attractions and to the train station. All the history and the mistique of the hotel is so unique and amazing. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in the world.
