The inn is lovely; it has a beautiful European vibe, and it was VERY quiet. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was nice.
It would have been lovely to have had the outdoor space (we had an attached patio) put together with a nice table, chairs, plants, etc.

the home is beautiful older Spanish style with lots of cozy character.
As it really is a B&B type property, I think it would add value to have an easy typical help yourself breakfast set up. I looked for it and then realized there wasn’t any. The add does not include breakfast but the property itself would get a better rating with this inclusion
The en-suite tap water took a long time to find heat.

Good location. Close to St Helena and Charles Krug Winery and jazz shows.
This place is not exceptional in anyway. Cleanliness was very questionable. The decor was very tired and overall is needing a remodel, bad.

The proprietor Roy is excellent
I liked it all

The location was fantastic. Property is full of personality and exceptional value for the area.
Has a lot more potential. Few updates and inclusions such as a coffee machine, safe and doors that lock.

Amazing place and amazing host. Easy to book, clean and comfortable room, very close to the busy happenings in Napa valley but just far enough away to have a feeling of seclusion and privacy. Wonderful communication with host.

The place is beautiful, comfortable and quite. We loved it! We will stay there again.

quiet, privacy, outdoor patio
No A/C that we could determine. Never got hot water to our room. The TV was in a common room.

Very nice and cordial owner on site to handle check-in and explain available use of the Inn.
A little off the beaten track, but that was part of the charm.

location
smell of room, no TV, dusty, got charged higher price than notified in my booking (double) and was told not to use booking

Lovely old world European feel - like villa in Spain or Tuscany. The rooms are spacious, the grounds are lovely, and the kitchen is well equipped to bring your own food and cook full meals.
The internet is spotty up there because it's in the Napa countryside.

such a fun place! Will be back
no dvd player.

The room was a very good value for Saint Helena, which is notoriously expensive. The bed was comfortable, the balcony over-looking the large front lawn was lovely, and the owner was friendly.
If the listing mentioned that the bathroom was in a hallway outside the room, I missed that. This was listed as a B&B and the dining table was set, but there was no mention of breakfast. We had a fun breakfast in town, so this was not a dealbreaker – just a surprise.

Quiet location, very close to town. Beautiful old style Villa with an outside patio.

The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed our chacterie board and wine under an ancient oak tree surrounded by rock walls, and added tree ripened apples and figs from the trees on the grounds. This place is a treasure reminiscent of a European Inn.
The owner is so welcoming!
We loved walking out our sliding glass doors to a private little patio with a wooden gate that opened to a beautiful green space with fruit trees and roses.
The bedroom was nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable.
This property is the best deal going in St. Helena and the Napa Valley!
Yes, the main room is a bit dated, but our bedroom and bath were clean and decorated nicely.

Room was really warm when we checking in and didn't cool off well the first night.

Location was perfect for a family wedding at Beringer.
Facility is quaint and charming. It could use a few updates but for the price and compared to the others in the area, we felt like we did alright.
Because of COVID, we had very little interaction with either staff or other guests. It's very difficult to give a fair assessment under current circumstances.

Breakfast was not served. He said due to COVID. But our friends stayed at a nearby B and B and had good snacks and an awesome breakfast. I think it was just an excuse. And the rate was not adjusted for that. Not even coffee. And none nearby. Disappointed.

location was near wineries, dining and shopping, host was pleasant and wore a mask
facility needed a good cleaning, dusting, vacuum. furnishings appeared to be from 70's. no amenities for guests, no clock in room, guest patio covered in moss, dead plant in corner. interior chairs placed outside were soaking wet so no place to sit. Bed mattress was lumpy with a sink hole. Bathroom water was cold to luke warm. Musty odor in room required wearing a mask indoors. We paid for 2 nights but only stayed 1 night due to discomfort of facility.

Due to Covid, my spouse and I were the only guests at Spanish Villa despite there being six or more rentable rooms. The manager, Roy, explained it was necessary to keep us safe. Also because of Covid, breakfast could not be served. We bought breakfast items at nearby grocery store, and Roy gave us full access to the kitchen including coffee and brewer. The villa had several very lovely rooms including two living rooms, one with a beautiful baby grand piano (and we played it), a library, large dining room and indoor patio area. We made ourselves right at home. Roy invited us to help ourselves to his fig tree where the fruit was deliciously ripe. The grounds were beautiful. R
Unfortunately, we visited when the wildfires were really ramping up and on our second of three nights, PG&E shut off the power for safety reasons to the area around the villa and it was never restored before we left . Roy was very accommodating and left a large candle lit in the center room of the villa along with a flashlight, large jugs of water and notes explaining the power situation and the loss of running water. We made the best of it and stayed out wine tasting during the day and going to restaurants at night. Roy gave us an IOU for a free night stay on our next visit for our inconvenience.

It was very over priced
