Location was good
2nd floor smelled like weed. Not very clean
3.4
room was very nice and the pillows were terrific.
Seemed like every trash container was full.
3.4
How clean and neat the rooms were
There was kids beside me being too loud but i know that can’t be controlled by the owners

The staff were friendly. The lobby decor was not your basic corporate hotel--I liked the wood near the fireplace. The price was a fair bit lower than competitors, so I had been worried about it being run down and/or in a neighborhood that didn't feel safe, but that wasn't the case.
I have needed more than the usual number of pillows since a shoulder surgery in order to sleep comfortably. The front desk didn't have any extra pillows. I crafted a plan to use one of the couch cushions, until I chanced to see another guest requesting extra blankets, which was the better solution.
Speaking of the pillow request, what was the point of the text message inviting any requests to make the stay more comfortable, if I didn't even get a reply?
The breakfast was fine, but staffing didn't appear to be adequate to keep up with demand.

Nice location near a lot of eateries. Very spacious whirlpool room and check in was easy. Lots of parking.
Not enough towels. Jacuzzi room has no ventilation system so the room became muggy but AC helped. WiFi didn’t work, no tv channel guide.

The facilities and room were immaculate and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The indoor pool, laundry room, and amazing breakfast in the morning are all great perks of staying there. (The waffles alone are worth it!)
No complaints about anything!

There are a lot of hotels in Dearborn, but by far, Country Inn & Suites is the best! The entire staff couldn’t be more kind and welcoming. The amenities are amazing, especially the indoor pool and delicious breakfast every morning (which isn’t just a box of cereal like at some hotels; it is a full-on buffet with everything from eggs, home fries, bacon/sausage, fresh waffles, bagels, etc.). Everything is spotless and comfortable. I particularly liked the huge, deep bathtub and super comfortable bedding.
3.4
The breakfast was very versatile
The pool water was funny looking and other guests had 10 or more people in the pool every time we tried to get in. And the rooms didn’t match the pictures online
3.4
Room wasn’t sound proof. Towels are garbage. Shower low pressure. Front staff inattentive and unfriendly
3.4
It’s clean, and nice to stay. The room had no issues, the bathroom was clean and everything worked fine.
Strange characters coming in and out the building as I was registering but no one bothered us while we stayed.

Location
Nice service

I reserved a wheelchair accessible room in advance. When I arrived it was not available. Luckily I was able to get by in a regular room. This could have created a crisis for some wheelchair users.

Dated. Loud TV in next room entire night, hard to sleep

The staff was very professional and accommodating.

There was an included breakfast and location was near attractions that drew us to the area.
The hotel was in disrepair. Our carpets were stained and the room had a funky smell. Other guests were incredibly noisy in the hallways, at the pool, then in the adjacent room (at 2:00 a.m.).
3.4
The ease of checking in and front desk staff was great.
We asked for a late checkout. But we were called and the housekeeping staff were knocking on the door an hour before we were to check out. Just heckling us to get out of the room. The problem is I have my degree in hotel and restaurant mgmt. I’ve worked and opened multiple hotels. And I understand very well how important it is to turn over rooms when large groups are coming in and I understand how anxious it gets staff to complete their checklists. But without guests and without a positive guest experience what creates the desire for return guests?
On top of this as we were leaving the housekeeper was waiting for us and didn’t listen to a word we said to her she was just excited we were leaving and talking over us as she asked what room we were in.
The king “suite” was hardly a suite and disappointing to say the least.
The wonderful woman checking us in at the beginning of our stay as well as the gentleman who greeted us as we came and went throughout our stay were really great.
