STAFF, ACCOMMODATIONS, FOOD, ATMOSPHERE WERE ALL SOLID 10!
ONLY NEGATIVE-LOBBY RESTROOMS WERE NOT KEPT UP.

It was a beautiful property, sexy, and high-tech. The properties in the middle of the city quick walks to all the things the parks, the metro even the aquarium. The food in the restaurant was delicious and they were also great food options just across the street. Panera, hello guys Dunkin’ Donuts CVS and 7-Eleven within minutes literally less than two minutes.
We were on the sixth floor, which could be a little noisy for some. I’m from New York City. It takes a lot for me to consider something noisy, but I was aware that the property is on the main strip of Boston.

We were put in a tiny room with no dressers/drawers for clothes - a small fridge stocked with hotel beverages that we would have to pay for. If you go out to eat you cannot bring anything back because there’s no room in the mini bar fridge. Maid service never cleaned our room until day #3. Bathroom sink faucet was broken and brown colored dirt or what looked very disgusting came out of the faucet and in drain. Shower head did not work properly, toilet bowl seat was broken and crooked, and the AC only blows one direction and hits you in face if you slept in the bed closest to door. Parking attendants were very lazy and made it seem as though we were bothering them when the car was needed. Just not the same as all of the other times we stayed at the W in Boston. Very disappointed.
There was 1 girl at the front desk who was so nice and tried helping us with all that was wrong

Clean rooms and very attentive staff.
Location is a little removed but not a problem. Still walkable to Financial district and back Bay.

Zentral gelegen und meine Freunde wohnten dort.
Frühstücks Personal war nicht aufmerksam. Völlig überteuert für die gebotene Qualität. 2 Omelett , 2 Espresso 110 Dollar.

Breakfast was excellent! Setting up a couples massage and having even go off as planned! Excellent! All workers were polite, funny and helpful!
Thought room was a little small for price. That also included upgrade!

The location and the staff were great at all times.
The hotel has already been worn off and it can be seen in some of its basics; towels, bed clothing and pillows. It needs capex investment.

Clean, great location and the rooms were nice and big

Fair. Wait staff seemed very unhappy to be there.
The service staff at the W lounge - in particular a female server on Saturday evening the 16th of December was off putting. We had a large party- we were told to leave - told to sit elsewhere.

The staff were lovely in general. They dealt with a complaint very well. The location was perfect and we overall felt safe and comfortable. Covered all basic needs. Spacious room and the mattress was decent. The TV / entertainment system in the room was good. We liked the inclusion of a clothes steamer. The bar downstairs was nice and convenient.
The rooms were not being cleaned properly at all. I was checking everyday, they were pretty much only making the beds and emptying bins. The bed cover was not nice - you could do with getting decent bedding. The lighting in the room is abysmal and the view in our room was terrible (I realise we’re in a city but that particular room is not worth the money you’re spending). The electrical sockets in the bathroom didn’t work, the hairdryer wasn’t great and wasn’t a fan of the shower system - the temperature and pressure seemed to be controlled by the same valve. Breakfast was very average and overpriced and the staff in there were a bit moody. A very stale, crushed chocolate croissant cost me over $6! It wouldn’t have annoyed me if the croissant didn’t look and taste like it had been squashed at the bottom of a kid’s school bag for a week. Design and quality of the room FF&E wasn’t outstanding - very cheap materials. Passable and ok but again just not worth the money people are being charged.

My wife and I enjoyed ourselves. You have a very nice hotel.
I didn’t understand why for the amount of money it costs to stay at your hotel, that the snacks in the room weren’t complimentary. I understand charging for the alcohol and drinks in the mini fridge, but to charge for the snacks in pretty dumb.

Location is the key to this hotel. Easy access to the T and next to China Town.
No pool, small lobby that had a special eevent so could not use.

The room was nice and clean, front desk and valet were above and beyond especially a nice touch from valet was the two cold waters waiting in the front seat at checkout. Overall the hotel vibe/atmosphere was modern and young feeling, not old and stuffy. Room was clean and comfy.
For over $500/night, I expected not to have to go to 3 different floors to find a working ice machine. Having a mini bar in the room is nice but I would honestly rather have an empty fridge to at least keep leftovers or waters/drinks cold. And they say room service is "all day". But when you want to order something at 2pm, the website/app says not taking orders until 330pm. The room was nice and clean, front desk and valet were above and beyond in friendliness but the Gallery/restaurant for breakfast was below average. And they advertise having 5-6 different specialty coffees but you go to order and the espresso machine isn't working. I would've expected them to have a back up on standby or at least quick maintenance to remedy the situation for that level of "luxury" and price.

The beds
The staff was rude and not helpful at all, I was surprised how little effort they made to tear us right. Specially waiters at the restaurant, awful
4.5 / 5.0
Staff very helpful and efficient. The rooms and bathroom are a very good size. We had all the help we needed including loan umbrellas. Would definitely stay here again. Being a Marriott member also gave us extra benefits.
It was a fairly long walk downtown - about 20 mins. We did know that when we booked and like to walk so it didn’t bother us but it may deter others.

The breakfast was very expensive for just a basic two eggs two pieces of toast and three pieces of sausage was $38
