We love the location of the property. We also appreciate how quiet it always is and the blackout shades are a huge plus! We can actually rest well and be ready for the next day!
We didn't realize that we needed to request housekeeping. The front desk staff are really in their own world. I'm sure they are just busy.

Front desk person Sylvia was very helpful and pleasant.
Breakfast was decent.
Our room was near the elevator so it was not quiet.
They clean the room only upon request. They didn't clean out room after day 1 of our 2 day visit even after we requested it.

good location. free parking.
it was a bit run down. pretty sure our hotel supplied soap was pre-used. it came out of the box with a chunk missing and wet. plug on only one side of bed. minor thing really.

Great location right off University and Texas. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean.
The property is sorely in need of renovation. Carpets, furnishings, etc are easily 30 years old. Wallpaper was lifting and peeling off in the bathroom which was tiny. Definitely wasn’t up to the typical Hilton standard; however the price probably reflected that.

Breakfast was good.
The lady at checkout in the morning was quite pleasant!
The beds were comfortable.
The location was perfect.
We arrived at 5 pm when check-in time was 3 pm. However, the rooms were not ready yet. We came back after dinner around 7 pm when they were ready.
The lady at the front desk was not happy to be doing her job. Customer service is best when you are pleasant with your guests. No matter how friendly we were with her, there was no changing her demeanor.
The top lock of the hotel room door was missing the door jamb piece, so you couldn’t lock the top lock.
We weren’t sure if the bathroom toilet had been cleaned as it looked as though someone had used it.
This hotel is a bit worn-looking.

The property was convenient to where we needed to be for the weekend.
My hotel room was not what I paid for. I asked for deluxe king with a sleeper sofa (clearly on the website) and was checked into a room with a double bed only. We went back to tell the girl (Myranda) who checked us in and was told we’re sold out that that hotel does not offer a deluxe king with a sleeper sofa. Since I booked through Booking.com I needed to take it up with them. I asked her if she could get us a roller bed and she said "I’ll try and find one and I’ll bring it to your room if there is one". I said I’ll wait here for you because if you don't have one I will stay somewhere else. She got very defensive and rude about my comment and told me :You already paid for your room and will not be refunded. I said I don't care my family cannot sleep on a double bed when there is 3 of us. She walked off to what I thought was to find a roller bed and never came back. While waiting for roller bed in the lobby, along with all of our luggage another lady helped us get a room with 2 double beds. I thanked her and the original person helping me was coming back with no roller bed and I thanked her too. Her response was “Hmm”!!! She has BRIGHT RED HAIR and was very rude to our group that booked this trip. I described the hair in lieu of a name. I asked 3 separate families that stayed there this weekend who checked them in and the immediate response was a rude redhead! We will never stay at this hotel again, will not recommend it to anyone. Teach your staff how to speak to people!

Meal was good
We were in a room in the midst of a high school team, hall was very noisy at 11:30 PM. More care should be exercised in placement of rooms for regular guests not near team rooms.

Very nice people at the front desk, I didn’t get the room that I purchased. I needed a king bed with a sofa sleeper for my child and they gave me a king with no sleeper bed. I went down and talked with the clerk and she said the only other room they have is a room with two double beds. That is what we had to change to because they were full and had no other rooms. They said their hands were tied due to me purchasing my room on this travel site and there is nothing they can do to make it right. I am not happy about this………
The hotel needs to provide what you pay for not give you something you didn’t pay for …. 🤬

Ease of check in
Room had a musty smell. Other Hilton properties use Lysol to clean and provide a pleasant scent.
