Location is fantastic. Easy, beautiful walking trails. Was a perfect spot for us.
4.0
The location is highly recommended. We got to the hotel a couple of hours before check in, so we decided to rent bikes and take a stroll along Lady Bird Lake prior to check in. Bikes can be rented for $2 and hr at hotel. Now, they do put a $16 hold on your credit card. The staff were very nice. Rainey Street Entertainment district is literally in walking distance. Just make sure that you pass the front way (I35 next to Chevron station) if walking. It's less than 15 minute walk. We didn't have a breakfast coupon, but breakfast is very good and inexpensive. Also dinner. We didn't feel like waiting at restaurants and the food at the hotel was a good alternative for our trip. The waiters/waitresses are very nice here. Comfortable beds, microwave, and fridge in our rooms.
The only downside was the fact that there was no closet or enough drawer space for clothes. Also, not enough space for toiletries around sink. Bathroom is big, but not enough space to store anything. I also had to call room service 3 times before getting towels. I ended up getting them myself. We left for activities and came back hours later, and I noticed that housekeeping had finally sent towels. Also, ice machine didn't work and I find air conditioning wasn't cold enough. It got cold through the night though. This wouldn't be good for those vacationing during the summer. I also feel that there should be way more parking in the lot besides garage. I saw some people commenting about homeless people. Well, they didn't bother us, so we kept it rolling.. There's homeless people in many big cities. They didn't bother me and vice versa. Plus, Austin had many folks walking here and there. There's plenty of security around, so it's actually safe.. Besides these things I find this to be a great area to stay on a trip to Austin. The location is EVERYTHING

Convenient location.
Heat/air was difficult to control and spent the majority of the time uncomfortable. Lost hot water both mornings.

Location was excellent, I traveled with
My 2 little kids and my husband. Taking an Uber everywhere was very easy . Hotel shuttle was a plus for us .
The room was smaller than I thought with 2 little girls. But we made it Wouk .

staff where super friendly

.
The room give was not as shown on the website.
The section where you need to select rooms is for some purpose but they fail to provide you what you select.
When asked for the change of room they ask you to pay $40 for an upgrade. When your booking the room it shows you would be having a lake view but don’t fall for that trap you might land up with a view of the highway with noises.
The room is too small from the picture that is being shown. The restroom is so small that you need to step into the bathtub to close the door.
Lights are dim and not at all worth the price they are charging for it.
Never gonna recommend using booking.com or the specific hotel.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Location is great.
Shuttle service is near impossible to utilize. I was forced to purchase an Uber both to and from the Hotel to the airport.

The room was great, we had a lake view and it was beautiful. The location was great and the staff was extraordinary at check in.
I didn't like that the door handle to my room was a bit broken and the ice machine did not work on my floor.
3.0
Overall an okay hotel for the price.
The location is not very accessible. The room never got any room service (we had to constantly remind them to replace towels etc).
3.5
Evening staff at check-in were really professional. Clean room. Good Smell. Nice brand toiletries.
morning staff rude. shuttle to airport left without me. staff was calling when i left room, i was down in 30 second. no one told me at check-in the rules of shuttle that they wont wait 1 min. rules should be told when check-in. i was not late. i had to pay $25 for uber to airport. i chose this hotel only for airport shuttle.
2.5
location but thats about it.
Facilities very dated. Restaurant totally inadequate. Dinner was terrible but breakfast (staff and food) quite good.

Location near son’s apartment. Able to walk there.
Clogged shower drain and asked 3 times before it was fixed. Also, too many homeless people living nearby and didn’t feel comfortable walking near the hotel.

location
no decent restaurant or bar

Room location was fine.
It had a bad smell in the room the entire time. The room was very small for a king size bedroom. There was not enough light available in the room and kept it very dim inside.
