Not good

It had free parking. Location was walkable to main attractions.

Rude/unhelpful staff. Dirty rooms. Bed bugs found in amongst bed sheets. Staff replied with very little enthusiasm to help. Eventually sorted me out a new room. Breakfast was completely bare minimum, equipped with waffle machines with broken timers.

Modern, comfortable, clean, close to boardwalk and beach. Horrible horrible horrible parking situation.

It was modern, clean and within walking distance to the boardwalk in the beach.

There are not enough parking spaces for the amount of rooms. We were unable to do a couple things we wanted to do on our trip for fear of not being able to park back at the hotel.

It’s was convenient for a day at the boardwalk

Free breakfast and close to the boardwalk.

The staff told me I could not park next to my room door since my car was too long however When I got from the boardwalk, there was a van park in that area! My SUV length was same as the Toyota van! I had told the staff several times that I would feel safer if I had my car park right next to my door since I have 2 children with me and I’m traveling alone. The gentleman who had called me to confirm my checkin advised me I can park next to my room. When I arrived, the lady in front advised me I cannot park there and suggested me to move to park near the pool area.

Inexpensive and coast to the boardwalk.

Manager was very Rude and the handicap parking was not good. Had to back out for the handicap person to get in. Overall, parking was a joke. Will not return.

Terrific.

The room was very nice for the value, staff was excellent, 5 minute walk to the boardwalk.

We were told there could be issues with our car safety, so we felt the need to keep checking on it.

The heater didn't work correctly and I let the staff know and they never came to look at it, the bed was very uncomfortable I woke up in more pain then when I went to bed. The breakfast was nothing but sugar items

It was an easy walk to the Beach Boardwalk. There are several nearby convenience stores nearby and a laundromat. Room had small fridge and a microwave.

Room had a "smart TV" but no satellite/cable/antenna live options we could find. Not much nightlife in the area.

Good location.

Originally our booking couldn’t be found and we found this very stressful - we were told we’d have to pay for another room and then speak to booking.com to resolve the problem. However the staff did eventually manage to find it and managed to help us.

Just what we needed

Location of this hotel was perfect for our stay in Santa Cruz - just a short walk from the Boardwalk. Great value for money too. The room was comfy and basic and a little dated but was clean and met our requirements. Breakfast was simple but nice for a light bite before heading out.

Our room was tucked away and so didnt have much natural light and so felt a little dark. That said - we didnt spend too much time in it during the day anyway - not a deal breaker.
