This property has always been our family vacation place since our kids were little and our kids are now grown so it has alot of memories for our family
This property has really gone downhill which is sad! We had 2 beach front suite with kitchen and room. When we checked in our rooms had to be switched because of one room that we were given a key to being “out of order” the grandparents were supposed be on same floor but with having to switch they were not. The air conditioner was not working in our suite since the first night and my husband had to help switch out the air unit not once but twice, the 2nd one they switched out was not letting air flow because it was clogged with dust. However, we ended up waking up in the mornings sweating even with a fan on us..I offered for the Assist Manager to come feel our room that we had to stay a week in hot but she didnt nor did anyone try to fix the issue. Our suite was not cleaned the whole time we were there! I had to ask for atleast our one suite to be cleaned related to the baby crawling around! I had to ask for towels and wash clothes. Besides all of this my husband was sitting at the pool and the table umbrella flew off hitting him on the inner groin and breaking skin. Again we let the office know as if this would have happened to a child it would have been much worse and the sad part is the manager and staff didn’t even care to check on my husband the next day or the rest of our stay! Really a shame! Also, we ended up the whole week going down to the Hawaiin Inn to use their pool as the water was cold and not a bacterial infection waiting to happen! No one told us the grills were gone from the storm and the one left standing was nasty and we bought several steaks etc to grill. When we asked about using the gas grill we were told $75 for 2 hours! This place really isnt what it used to be!

The access to the beach was nice. The pools looked clean. Jessica @ the front desk was fabulous.
One bed in the 2 queen bed room was worn out. The mattress is long overdue for a change out. The other bed was great. The water pressure in the sink was very poor. Needs to be fixed.

The pools are alwsys nice and breakfast is always good.
My room door would not shut properly and condensation was all over the tile floor and that made it extremely slippery. i almost fell but caught myself. The door had to SLAM to close, our lamp light was broken and hanging, The bathroom door would not close or lock. The worst part was being given the wrong room information and key and then walking in on people in an occupied room!

Outdated and dirty
Dangerous individuals staying there

The room was dirty, bathroom has rust & mold. Pillow cases have stains. Remote doesn’t work, the shower pole that holds your body wash fell on my sister. We did call to let someone know. The maintenance guy said he was coming back that same night to fix it, did not come back til the next day. Hotel was terrible. Did not expect that. Wish I could get a refund but it’s all good. Not staying there anymore!

Comfortable beds. Beach access.
Overpriced old hotel that obviously endured storm damage from the hurricane last year. Hair dryer didn't work because the wall outlet was in need of repair. NO housekeeping on the weekend, stating we locked the deadbolt. We weren't even in the room all day, we were at the beach so the deadbolt couldn't have been on. We asked for more towels, soap, shampoo and everything was thrown into our bathroom sink in a bag. This place is a DUMP . Gaps in the doors, loud obnoxious people without any type of management involved. Fireworks going off right outside our balcony on a random Sunday night. Breakfast area has NO tables and chairs,, people loading up food and not leaving much to choose from. We were planning on staying longer and asked to leave and go to another hotel it was that bad. DO NOT STAY HERE! RUN! BOOKING PLEASE take this hotel out of your system, this is a reflection on your company as well.

Full kitchen with dinnerware.
The elevators were down for awhile. Then quite sketchy once fixed. 7 fights of stairs with luggage is no fun. The door to our room was quite difficult to open. I actually could not do it. My husband had to open the door every time. Water pressure was horrible. The only good thing I can say is we did not have bugs in our room. Another couple we spoke with did though.

Location is key
The door didn’t lock. Took from 2-3pm to 10pm to get fixed. In that time realized the refrigerator didn’t work. It was also replaced at 10pm. Staff was great but took longer than expected. Wouldn’t mind but had a toddler under 2. Didn’t get housekeeper until 3ish. Again staff was great. But expected earlier. Had to turn it down one day bc it was so late. Also the air conditioner seemed to not cool and the floor was wet in front of the a/c.. loved the location and the staff but the room was not satisfactory

Facilities were very good when considering the cost of the room. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff provided excellent customer service.
Hotel and service was excellent. There was not anything I did not like.

Location, pools.
Very dirty room 1202. Old stove and dirty. The door in the bathroom is not locked .There is no handle on the doors bathroom. The hotel is old and unmaintained, and the sewage system stinks on the steps. The toilet needs to be changed, the old one. I will not return to this hotel again.I had to leave this hotel earlier and stay in another one.

Pool was fantastic
There for a week and no change of sheets. Had to ask for towels everyday and to get floor swept. Quite a few people we know stayed there and not one paid same price. Guess it depends who you book with or who you know. Front desk not very helpful. Have been staying here for years and my consider changing hotels.

Staff are very nice and accommodating. The view from our balcony was AMAZING. Although we were right by the pool, not a lot of noise at night.
First room didn't lock from the inside or outside. Maintenance man did some pushing and pulling on an obvious old painted over door and fixed the outside but I still couldn't lock from the inside. Room also smelled funny, so they finally switched my room. The manager had the maintenence man help me w my bags to the next room, but we ended up walking in on someone already occupying the room?! The final room was acceptable bc the door locked and it didn't smell. It's obvious that they're still making repairs from the previous storms/hurricanes. But maybe they need more than a just a band-aid? The last room had a phone that didn't work and an alarm clock w missing USB connection pieces. I assume it was a connecting room bc the door next to the kitchen was locked? All of the appliances were rusting. The popcorn ceiling cracking. The carpet was filthy and made our white socks brown. Shower was difficult to get hot and shut off. Shower trial size products were great quality, but I also found leftover shower or hair gel from previous residents on the bathroom door. This is a great place if you only need a place to sleep and a great location to nearby attractions. Staff are very friendly! The only reason I score this place so high is bc of the friendly staff. You don't find that so much anymore. Oh...and the pillows are the best! Made my nights 5 star! But the AC didn't work very well. You got really cold and then it was really stuffy hot. And when you tried just running it steady, then it seemed not to work at all. Bring a fan w you if you stay!

balcony view, full moon over ocean, atmosphere
Ocean too cold, & pool closed part of the time.
Could have been supplied a map & explaination of the bus system - and a map, description, & hrs of local resturants as they're spread out & hard to decipher...

Staff was wonderful! I booked through a 3rd party not realizing a first floor room was chosen. Upon learning that, the gentleman at the counter seen my disappointment and placed on the 5th floor with a kitchenette!
Nice to have an option for portable breakfast each day, and the location with a grocery store & deli were convenient as well.

Close to the beach, clean room
Got locked out of room at 12 am, due to an issue with the door lock… felt very unsafe.

there was not 1 thing that I liked about the property.
well where do I start. at check in we found out that we were not getting the same room that we paid up front for. Then when we get up to room the a/c didn’t work so we had to buy fans. then when we turned on T/v it didn’t take too long to figure out that they didn’t even have a working tv. and then when we tried to tell the office about it we kept getting the run around about when we would be able to talk to one of the managers. lady at front desk was very rude and continued to lie to us about when the manager would be in. each access was blocked off and construction was visible to be going on at several different areas of hotel.

Nothing. It was in very bad repair. The room I booked did not exist. The room they showed me smelled like mold. The maintenance guy said he would spray the room. It didn't feel safe as there were a bunch of men hanging out in the parking lot at night.
I didn't like anything about it. The fact that it's not ADA compliant is a problem as I have a disabled son.
