everything was perfect….the rooms, the food, the staff. our entire stay exceeded our expectations. this hotel is on par with any hotel we have ever stayed at.

For understated luxury, there is no other choice in St. Louis but the Ritz. The lobby is beautiful. The rooms are simple and comfortable.
I arrived close to midnight; there was only one valet who was otherwise occupied so I had to leave my car in the driveway to enter and request assistance with the car and luggage.

There was rather cranky older women that was not very professional and was rather rude when I went for breakfast. Granted that they were busy(Saturday March 26th) and I was a single part as my wife decided to sleep in, she was very curt in telling me that for the sitting, Inhad to sit in the bar section of the restaurant. I tried to explain to her that I don’t really like sitting in a stool section, being that I am 6 4 and 295lbs. She could have been more tact in explaining their occupancy status. When I asked for the supervisor, as I I did like her tone, I was then sat down in a nicer place. Mind you, I am a big Ritz carton fan, having stayed at that particular Ritz Carlton previously, but various Ritz Carlton hotels all over the world from Hong Kong(twice), Singapore, Tokyo, Dubai and too many count in the U.S. I cancelled my Ritz Carlton Chicago and will be staying at the Langhan Chicago the coming April 18t and have decided to stay at the four seasons in New Orleans for a family get together for the Memorial Day. Everything else, as expected from a Ritz Carlton.

The location was perfect for us. We have always enjoyed the Ritz.
It would be nice to have a restaurant in the hotel open on Monday.

We loved the breakfast room service. We had the nicest lady named Pat bring it to us. She was so friendly. The food in the new restaurant was amazing, also.
The carpet in our room needs replacing. It was fraying and had holes in it.

Everything was perfect. The staff were beyond amazing. In room dining was great. I can’t wait to go again. Heaven on Earth. Best night of my life so far.

Staff was overall kind and attentive. In room dining was fantastic and arrived within 30 minutes. Plenty of towels in the room.
The only negative experience my wife and I had during our stay was when we attempted to eat at the newly opened restaurant. We were told that we could eat there, then we were told that there was no room, then told that we could if we sit at the bar, then told that we couldn't because of covid-19 capacity restrictions. There was a total of four employees involved in this whiplash.
