Superb hotel for a relaxing stay in a stunning lakeside spot

This is a wonderful hotel in a stunning location right by Lake Oconee and surrounded by forest trails that provide great walks. Fantastic facilities both in the room and throughout the hotel and lots of activities on offer. Very friendly, helpful staff in all areas of the hotel and restaurants. Amazing spa facilities and highly skilled therapists for both massage and facials.

The gym has good equipment and it is a large space but the AC is limited and the room gets very hot during an extended workout. We would have liked another lunch option to mix up our mid-day dining - only Gaby's was open during our week day stay at this time of year.

Makes you want to buy a home there.

Facilities and staff were top rate. Everyone who worked there was extremely polite and you felt like they wanted to make your stay the best.

Beautiful place not enough time to fully enjoy! I could live there!

The front desk girl Tyesha was so informative and nice really help us to feel comfortable our first visit to the Ritz Oconee.

Just wish you could check in sooner than 4 you don’t have time to enjoy the full campus!

Memorable, relaxing and beautifully designed resort.

The view, landscaping, activities, amenities and facilities are just idealic! The infinity pool overlooking the beach and lake is hard to beat. We went to get out of Atlanta for some R&R and our family really enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, the grounds were so beautiful. We rented a boat and spent an afternoon on the lake. Dining is onsite and there is really no reason to leave the property unless you want to explore.

Room Rate was very elevated the weekend we went.

Felt very comfortable and relax my entire stay.

The location and spa was excellent. The room overlooking the lake was a great view. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Some areas need to be updated.

Overall, Enjoyed stay and aside from golf, Ritz performed great , as always..

People, food & facility are excellent..

Preserve golf course could have better.. I would grade it a “c” and reminded me of most “public” courses.. Will not be back..

I did not like that I paid more and got less. Great place its beautiful.

I didnt have breakfast there because you took most of the items I like off the menu.

I never paid so much for the room and I feel I did not get my moneys worth. Also there was not enough toiletries in the room.

Property was well maintained and restaurants were very good.

Great gluten free choices and extreme care in preparation of food. Servers were knowledgeable and checked with chef if unsure. Primary reason for staying at Ritz hotels and resorts. Thank you to all chefs and servers.

Bed and pillows were not comfortable. Need to replace mattress. And pillows and more attention to cleaning showers (mildew).
