Very nice property. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The QR codes /text message links made paying & tipping a seamless process.
The price of parking was high.
The service at the sports bar was not good. My husband was not acknowledged at the bar to order drinks for a long time. We were told our food order was placed but after waiting a while and questioning it we were told we wouldn’t be able to get food. However, I do believe it was after kitchen hours.

The room was very roomy, the full side refrigerator was a nice surprise. The microwave was a huge plus specially when traveling with kids. The family also loved the breakfast. It had a good selection of different options. I also want to congratulate the staff. Everyone was very nice and helpful. It's so refreshing to experience.
The only thing i would say is maybe a few extra blankets and towels in the room and also a big raise to your staff.

The staff! Everyone was so very friendly and attentive. In every interaction, we were made to feel like we were special guests.
The bed/mattress was a bit uncomfortable. But the room overall was such a nice room.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!!!
My family and I really loved the location of the Residence Inn, you're right smacked dead in the middle of the Inner Habor and plenty of restaurants, such as Hooters, Shake Shack, Chic Filet, Cheesecake Factory, Phillips, Hardrock cafe, etc. Breakfast was decent. The Inner Habor is really huge. Be sure to check out both sides of the Inner Habor. It's a really huge Habor with two sides. One side where it's McCormick and Schmick's and Chris Ruth's Restaurant. On this end it is beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. It's located on the Pier 4 and Pier 5 side. We didn't even know this end existed. Stumbled on this end because we were walking around. It's more on the side of Phillip's Restaurant. The other side is more of a busy side where all the other restaurants and paddle boats are located. It was hard to make a decision between Staybridge suites and Residence inn. Staybridge suites had a high ratings and reviews said that this hotel was very clean, great breakfast and also close to the Inner Habor. They didn't really like the area.
Residence inn reviews was okay. People said it was dirty and not clean very well, and that valet parking was too expensive. Reviews said that people liked how close it was to the Inner Harbor and all the restaurants. I wanted to stay at the Stabridge Suites but my brother wanted to stay at Residence inn. In the end, we went with the Residence inn because of the location. But next time, I will go with the Staybridge because of the cleanliness of the hotel and besides it's also close to the Inner Harbor but not as close as the Residence inn. In my honest opinion, for some reason it feels like the Residence inn still is little bit more closer to the Inner harbor and all of the restaurants though. When you come out of the Residence Inn just make a left and walk down and you start to see all the action.
Hotel is very old, needs update. My room wasn't cleaned very well. Dirty sheets and pillowcases. One of our sheets had what looked like to be dried blood on them. I called down to the front desk and told them that I needed clean sheets because I found blood on one of the sheets and was told to take a pic of it and that someone would bring me more clean sheets. Well, they did and they were all pretty much stained and dirty except for one. Later on, I did show the front desk staff the pic and she said " that's very interesting and that it didn't look like blood". I told her that it was definitely a blood stain. Luckily, I believe it was the manager who was there with her at the time, who gave me a $50 refund. 'Very disgusting. Refrigerator not cleaned very well. Spots, fingerprints all on the outside of the fridge. Couch is old and was dirty. Carpet was also dirty. Mildew smell and kinda felt a damp feeling. Do better RI!!!
Another issue, really not the hotel fault. Safety issues: The hotel is on located on the decent side, right next to Dunkin Donuts, and some other restaurants but across the street there is a seven eleven and Royal Farms where a lot of homeless people and drug addicts hang out, so be aware of all the shenanigans that goes on all times of the day. It wasn't really a big deal for me and my family because we are from the DMV area but haven't visited Charm City in years but want you all to be safe. What we did was, when the addicts were chase away by the police and disappeared that's when we would run over the seven eleven or royal farms purchase our stuff and then run back over to the hotel. When police would leave after being there for a while, then suddenly out of nowhere a whole bunch of them would return again. Also, valet parking is very expensive $45 per day and annoying incident fees for $150.
Please let me say, that I'm not making fun of anyone but just want you all to be safe.

Attractive looking facility, the luxury of the bar, restaurant, & complimentary breakfast.
Parking rates are expensive.

Nothing. Left as soon as I could
Staff was ignorant. Zero space for parking in front to check in. Signage for the building was small and unnoticeable. They force you to pay another fee upon checking in which is insane amount (the cost of another room) for incidentals. Which I was told were for valet and the restaurant. One I was not using the valet and two the restaurant was closed during my stay. I was literally scared to stay in the room due to the fact I was not comfortable cause I didn’t want to have to pay for something extra. Bathroom was filthy and it was just all around a horrible stay.

The staff was very helpful
The price that I booked was not the same price I paid when I arrived it was 53.00 higher. Which I didn’t plan for but I had the money so it wasn’t a big deal for me. but most people for that much of a difference.

Location, the room was spacious comfortable and modern. Staff was very helpful!
Breakfast was just ok. Turkey sausage and pork sausage never bacon. Scrambled eggs are always way too scrambled and I realize they do that for safety. Entrance on Light street has no protection from weather and I arrived in a rain storm. Valet parking is way too expensive.

The room was nice clean and comfortable. The location was good and the staff operating the breakfast room was exceptional.
The cost for parking was ridiculous and the valet staff was horrible. The breakfast could have been better. There should have been more healthier options.

Room was average, but ok, the breakfast was good, the location was good!
I did not like the $100 coincidental fee, I did not like the dullness of the room, I did not like the fact that I booked the room for 5 people and they only gave me enough towels and clothes for one person, I had to ask for more.

Smelled good. Clean. Professional front desk. Pillows on the bed were not comfortable. Was sorry to hear there was no ice machine upstairs.
Only had one small wash cloth with the other towels. I needed one for my husband but there was only one wash cloth.
Good thing I brought my own.
Some Guests must have either arrived at 2am in the morning. The noise from children woke me up.
Other than these small complaints my stay was good for one night.

The room and bathroom were very clean. We loved that, especially since we came from having stayed at the dirtiest hotel ever in Virginia!
The bed was very comfortable. (However, the pullout couch mattress was very worn out!!!!) And, the staff was extremely nice and helpful! Also, the Valet staff, especially Ashley, was very nice, fast, helpful and extremely service minded. :)
The lunch we had in the bar was delicious...cobb salad and burger and the yummiest chocolate cake. Matt, the bartender was our server, and he was great!
The coffee at breakfast was delicious! And, the oatmeal was good, too!
The bathroom could have used a fan...and the tub had a chip out of it...so I know that the bathroom had been refurbished...but it was still okay...and the bathroom was clean! However, the pull out couch mattress was very worn out!
The breakfast was not as good as expected...perhaps because we came towards the end of the breakfast time. There were only a few bagels left...and the scone things were like rocks. The oatmeal was good...but there were just not enough pastry/muffin/bagel choices. Perhaps they were already eaten by other guests? Also, there were no fruit choices, except apples...and there was no almond milk for my cereal.
Also, check in/check out was good, but the staff confused the reservation name...not entirely their fault, as the reservation was made by my boyfriend (last name Taylor)...and I paid for the charges, since I am a Marriott Bonvoy member (Candace Coberly.)
The room deposit is still pending on my credit card...so hope this gets taken off.
Thanks,
CM Coberly
