Staff was kind and the bed was comfy.
The staff was not able to process my payment through booking.com therefore I had to pay again out of pocket .

location and affordability

Great location at a great rate
Paid $45 for parking.

The staff was helpful and efficient. The location was convenient to restaurants, coffee, the Highway and A&M campus.
“handicap” room was not actually safe for my mother - floor in bathroom was uneven, toilet was low, safety bars not in great location, shower curtain didn’t go to floor, creating very slippery conditions, etc. Thermostat control not accurate. No blankets or pillow delivered with air mattress. There was construction (which understand can be necessary) but the parking lot had screws which could damage tires. Breakfast buffet was not replenished with things like butter for the toast. Given the extra cost because it was a popular weekend (graduation) it felt like a rip off.

my first room smelled strongly of mold. mold was visible on the window screen. staff was wonderful and quickly moved me to another room. the mold smell was not as strong in this room but it was still there. the renovations on this hotel are lovely but I will never stay here again because it appears nothing is being done to remove mold from the building and I’m very allergic to mold.

Because of construction, a breakfast buffet was offered! The Buffet left a lot to be desired! It was very disappointing! We were told and also read the advertisement that a buffet would be offered because of the construction! Our expectations for an exceptional breakfast was very disappointing! We parked in handicapped parking. These parking spaces should have not been used. Our car was covered with white “asbestos”! Yes, it did blow off while driving but the floorboards were covered from our shoes. We have stayed at this same hotel many times in the last 5 years. We have never been disappointed before! But, our stay did not meet the usual excellent standards!
We KNEW there was the inconvenience of construction! But, as I stated earlier, the “extra” breakfast buffet was VERY disappointing!

We booked 6 rooms. We called on the morning of our stay to ask for an earlier check in time. The staff rearranged their lunch break schedule to meet our request, which was amazing.
The parking lot was a little small. We left and returned around 11:30 pm and had difficulty finding a place to park.

It was close to family
The hotel had a really weird smell. The hallway carpets need to be replaced, since that’s where the smell came from. No blow dryer, no iron/board in the room. Their was no staff in the Starbucks on site. The entrance and exit to the hotel are difficult to maneuver . The google maps GPS is wrong so it kept taking us 3 miles in opposite direction. There are newer hotels across the freeway we will try next time.

The mattress and bedding were very comfortable, the room was quiet, and the shower was soothing.
A free hot breakfast would have been nice with nightly snacks provided.

Overall this is a good hotel - everything is clean and staff is very friendly. There is a Starbucks inside the hotel but it was closed when I arrived on a Saturday and on Sunday. I stayed in May 2021 and it was under construction, it didn’t bother me but that was not noted anywhere FYI.
Under construction.

Room was clean and comfortable and reasonable.
Starbucks coffee from Bistro was disappointing ......... tasted watered down and was lukewarm.

Staff was friendly and residence was very clean. The outside pool and jacuzzi were nice as well.
